Great share platters, nice views, overall great venue
Our waitress was so knowledgeable about the cuts of meat and which would best suit how we liked the steak to be cooked. Wine was excellent and service was great!
Best steak in town for sure . We had really good time and would like to book again for next day but it was fully booked.. would love to go again soon
Great prime rib!Service was excellent and I had the best Caesar salad made fresh at the table. It definitely was one of the best dinners we had in Canada..
Our dinner at Chuck’s Steakhouse was our best meal in the Canadian Rockies!
Our server was very informative and quite funny. We enjoyed being looked after by him. We had a great view and that makes the evening bonus. The food and presentation were delicious and fantastic. We will be back!
From the time we walked in the wait staff was superb. The Caesar salad done table side was the best we’d ever had! The steak was done to perfection as were the vegetables. The olives in the martini were different and also wonderful. No room for dessert!
The mac and cheese was a little bland for my taste but otherwise all was good. The steaks were excellent!!
Great atmosphere! The type of meats and the process of how they make their meats were explained in depth and made our selection much easier.
Great steaks and sides. Our waiter, Colin, was very attentive and made the evening memorable as we celebrated a birthday. The chateaubriand and tenderloin were prepared very well but the biggest surprise of the dinner had to be the incredible mac and cheese sticks- be sure to order some. Thanks for the best meal from our week in Banff!
Best steak ever and I’m from Kansas City! Service is amazing - truly enjoyed the experience.
A must visit for the Alberta beef experience. Excellent selection and impeccably prepared. Great variety of sides à la carte.
Amazing! We were blown away. Booking our wedding here :)
It has been an outstanding experience for us we found the best service and steak in Banff.
One of the best steaks I have ever eaten. Sides and wine selection were very good. Service was fantastic. Expensive but well worth it.
Excellent food. Excellent service. Mark W. is one of the best waiters we’ve had.
It was great and the People are very Nice.
Very good food.
Took our teenage kids to our honeymoon spot. They wanted McDonalds, but after one bite they were hooked! Definitely a family favorite.
Loved the vibe! Our server Dean was super friendly! The stuffed mushrooms were amazing 😍
Great steaks. And table Cesaer salad...very friendly waitress. MDe the night fun! We
Well worth the cost. Reservations recommended. Fabulous steak and excellent service. Knowledgeable staff
Food and service were awesome
Best meal in all of Alberta! Best steak I have had in years!
Everything about dinner at Chuck's lived up to the hype!
Skip the oysters, but maybe it was just a bad day for the sea.
The Cowboy cut was a monster rib eye that could have easily fed 3 people.... well worth it!
We will recommend this steakhouse to everyone we know. It was perfect!! Staff were above and beyond friendly. Great dining experience.
GF and I shared the 20oz bone in Wagyu, mashed potatoes, broccoli, an order of the cheesy toast and the cheesecake for dessert. Hands down the best steak I’ve ever had. Incredible. Order it medium rare PLUS, ( it’s a thing ). Potatoes were tasty, broccoli had a bit of spice from the chilli flakes and could have used a bit more butter but tasty. The garlic toast was delicious but don’t fill up on it. The cheesecake was amazing as well and I don’t even really like cheesecake. The GF LOVED it! I had 2 tasty pints of local beer and she had a Diet Coke. Our bill was approx $170 CDN. Worth EVERY penny for a nice steak dinner in Banff. Our server Matt was insanely knowledgeable about steak, beer and everything else we threw at him. Great guy all around. There were definitely some more affordable items on the menu and from looking around at other tables, everything looked delicious. For Banff restaurant prices mid July, this place was definitely best for the money, and trust me, we ate out a lot. Would go back there in a second if I ever go back to Banff. I rarely write reviews. Thanks Matt. Sorry for gnawing at the bone when I finished the steak. I couldn’t help it.
Loved everything about it, food, service restaurant were all amazing xx
Beautiful evening as always at Chuck's. We love it here. Wonderful food, amazing service and great ambiance. We will be back.
Beef was off the charts fantastic
Unbelievable service and food. Every visit is stellar just like the one before!! Aged meat is second to none.
The T-bone steak was over cooked, can’t bite. Others is good!
Steak was amazing. Great location. Good atmosphere.
Our family of 5 came here for our nice dinner on our vacation. The service was excellent and the food was nothing short of amazing. We started with an amazing cheesy, garlic bread and beef wontons. Then we each had some tenderloin and lobster tail with sides of potatoes gratin, green beers, and corn creme brûlée. We finished it off with the mud pie and creme brûlée. My dad enjoyed a whiskey sour and the table enjoyed a Canadian wine recommended by our server, Hunter. The view was excellent, then table was spacious and the club chairs were comfortable. We could not have had a better family dinner.
I sadly was not impressed. The burrata tomato salad had hardly any burrata - which was apparently a joke according to the waiter claiming now they give more tomato’s. My husbands onion soup was bland and the sides were pretty awful. This dumpling thing appetizer was like a burger ball wrapped in some wrap which we were sold on like it was to die for. Steak was ok. We ordered the over priced already sliced up Wagu which was all fat. The Tenderloin was decent but not melt in your mouth. The sides of broccoli was dry and I finally had it and sent it back. Cauliflower dish side was this crunchy dish with cheese not at all what i was expecting. Needless to say I will not return. The waiter sold this food like it was going to be outstanding. Quite the contrary.
Fantastic meal at Chuck’s on our holiday in Banff. The menu wasn’t the easiest to interpret in terms of what represented best value but our server was very helpful with this and with suggesting and off-list wine which pared perfectly with our T-Bone. Only complaint was that our fries were cold!! Would recommend to others visiting Banff.
We chose Chuck’s for our 50th Anniversary dinner, and couldn’t have been happier. Wonderful service from the moment we arrived and throughout the meal. The food is meant to be shared, which is very enjoyable. We had the tenderloin, potatoes au gratin, green beans and beets. All cooked to perfection. Thank you again for the complementary desert, it was delightful! We would definitely go back when in Banff and will recommend this restaurant to our friends.
