   Good was incredible. The burger and the steak frites are both excellent and our server, Julia was great! We had an amazing experience and the restaurant itself is gorgeous. Great menu, great drinks, great atmosphere!

   Service was excellent. Atmosphere was great. Noise level was extremely loud, almost to the point of leaning directly to the person you were with to talk or yell across the table. Ordered the 40 oz steak for 2 people. Was not enough due to meat loss, as the bone was in. Sides were amazing. Price was too high for a steak that had minimal flavour.

   Chuck’s is amazing!!! The food is spectacular, the ambiance is perfect and their staff is out of this world. We had Tommy and he made our night!!! His energy, knowledge and experience was a huge part of what made our night!!! This is a must stop bucket list food and atmosphere experience. This is not a lower priced restaurant so be prepared from a cost standpoint. I will say however their food, staff, ambiance and beverage offerings reflect fairly the cost you will pay. We will go back and we will be asking for Tommy!!!

   We had a fantastic meal , our Caesar Salad prepared by Tommy was fabulous , steak ,sides were super tasty , price wise it was high but worth it as a one off treat for the family .

   My parents were visiting and we went there for a family reunion/celebratory dinner. The food and beverages were outstanding (everything was well cooked/seasoned and just delicious). We had tenderloins (prime and wagyu all cooked to perfection), a few sides (asparagus, green beans, garden salad, mushrooms and baked potatoes - portions were generous and everything was fresh/tasteful). Service from Tommy and the whole team was impeccable! We felt well taken care of the whole night! Thank you for this amazing dinner, we had a blast!

    Dry aged steak was excellent. Appetizers were ok, steak tartare didn't quite make the case for deviating from the classic. The potatoes gratin and asparagus were strong sides. In winter, it's frustrating to have to sit on your parka because there is no coat racks at entry or hooks anywhere in the dining room.

    We come to Banff once a year from Texas. This is our favorite spot and when we stop in Banff we always go here. The food, ambiance and view are fantastic. The servers do a great job walking you through the options and make the experience worth coming back every time we’re in Banff. See you soon Chuck’s !!!

    The atmosphere and service was wonderful. Our server was very personable. The ceasar salad prepared table side was delicious. We ordered the chateaubriand that came with carrots, potatoes, mushrooms, jus and hollandaise. The meat and sauce was cold and very disappointing, especially for the cost of the meal. I asked if my hollandaise could be replaced or heated and it was explained to me that if it was heated up it would separate…ok not our first time having this sauce…but it came back cold. Very disappointing to have cold meat at that price point.

    Expensive restaurant, great atmosphere, service was great… We ordered one well done steak and it was medium/rare… we decided not to did complain, however we did point this out to the server at the end of the meal… as my wife only ate half of it… sad thing was, he really did not care. The plate also had salt over it, never seen this before, which made the overall meal very salty, way to much salt for us.

    Love going to the restaurant almost every time we are in Banff. Last time was before COVID. Everything was excellent, except the price which almost doubled. The wagyu steak we used to get used to be $75 and now was $135. Expect a total bill for 4 to be around $500-600.

    Great dinner for 5 of us to celebrate the end of a great trip! Always fun to bring new people to one of my favourite spots in banff! Service was great as always. Our server was Julia, very friendly and attentive!

    Chuck’s steakhouse is an experience. Unbelievable steak, unbelievable service, inviting atmosphere along with incredible vibes. This place is a MUST GO in Banff. On a side note, When my girlfriend and I went, we had Steven as our server and he was the best!

    The steak is tasty. Felt the price was a bit costly. The bake scallop was not worth at all, I thought was big scallop, as it said 3 scallops. But it was a really small 3 scallops with very small shrimp baked together, not tasty, and expenses for $28. The Nicole's salad was too salty. Only the steaks were fine, but me and my husband both didn't feel it worth it! Also the waiter was so busy didn't help me fill up my water till I called him to do so. 😔

    Great steakhouse … love the casual vibe here, but there’s nothing casual about the food. We had 3 x Prime Tenderloins and the local. Steaks were done perfectly and the homemade chimichurri and bernaise sauces were a great accompaniment. The gratin was delicious, although at first bite a tad salty. Other sides were green beans, broccolini, and carrots which were all done perfectly and not overcooked. Desserts were great - we split the blueberry crepe brûlée and the apple crisp. We had a good bottle of wine to accompany, and overall a good selection of wines and digestifs to round out any meal here. Not for the faint of wallet, but this place delivers what they promise. I would not hesitate to come here again when looking for a great steak dinner.

    We arrived for our reservation on time and we’re greeted warmly. The staff were friendly and inviting and the environment was an excellent mix of western-chic and rustic. The staff were dressed modern western style and were incredibly friendly. Our server, Michael I believe, was beyond excellent. He knew the menu, every item and the answer to every question instantly, on top of being incredibly personable. We wound up chatting with other guests nearby and stayed for the better part of 5 hours, enjoying the evening and laughing with the other guests and staff as we enjoyed our food immensely. The steaks were cooked to absolute perfection, my girlfriend had the ribeye and I the tenderloin, while our newfound friends had that wagyu variants of the same. We were all thoroughly impressed by the food, service and atmosphere and will likely be back soon. By the time we left our bill was the furthest thing from our mind. Thank you, chucks, for an incredible valentines-eve experience and we will return.
