We were very disappointed overall. Based on other reviews, they raved over the homemade pasta & service. The experience was about under Olive Garden level made dishes. Our reservations @7:30 on Fridaynight, the restaurant was not busy. I got my salad and then my main entree dish came a few minutes later. I odered lasagna that seemed like it was microwaved, not baked. The fettuccine dishes with chicken that others in our party had, they said the chicken was dry. The dishes didn't arrive at the same time. One of us ordered Ceasars salad with checken. They waited about other 10 mins after the rest of us received our meals.

Walked in looking forward to a great Italian meal, and immediately did not feel welcomed. We were sat and only asked if we wanted water, the wine glasses were then taken away. The waiter never asked if we wanted a drink, or if we wanted appetizers. We ordered our food, we ate and couldn’t wait to get out of there! & I can’t even say that the food was good, the veal was over cooked!

Business meal with colleagues who live in an area with no Italian restaurants (how is that possible?). The food, the service, and the setting felt authentic Italian. It was a wonderful meal and we will be back .

Cesear salad and Caprese was fabulous. Pasta was AMAZING! The veal was too chewy but that was alright as the sauce, potatoes, spinach, and artichoke hearts were delicious. The Fondant cake was dry, but with a good red wine, it was better. My favourite dessert is the Limoncello Cake...you can't lose with that dessert! Staff are ALWAYS warm and welcoming.

Really wonderful food-flavor, variety and presentation. Had the Magical Dining menu which they told us about once we were seated. Sean and Emilio were an attentive pair. Loved the hot fresh bread, Caesar salad and veal. Desserts and espresso were a perfect ending. Thank you!

Good ambiance, great food and nice family feel. My party was large but we sat at a round table and we were able to talk easily. The servers were very friendly and the food came out fast. Grateful we chose this place to celebrate a birthday!

My wife and I enjoyed every moment from the time we stepped in. The antipasto was perfect. I had the Lobster ravioli which couldn't have been better. Just enough, not too much to be wasteful. My wife had the Veal Piccata which she never orders. Perfecto. We couldn't say enough great things to say.

We have been to Ciao many times and last night's meal was as usual a terrific experience. The service and food are always excellent. Sean our server was attentive but allowed us to set the pace. We both had pasta dishes. The special pasta with seafood and saffron sauce and the tortellini with short rib. Both were delicious.

This appears to be a family owned restaurant, which is unique in this area. It seems there is every chain restaurant you can think of within a 3 mile radius, so Ciao Italia was a nice change. Service was excellent and most of my party really enjoyed their dinner. The primary complaint was that the lasagna didn’t have any cheese layers. It was just meat and pasta. The salmon dish was a highlight.

Terrific! Super flavorful, fresh, authentic and so much better than all the chains. We came early and were suprised to be the first patrons, but it filled in and everyone else was missing out. Efficient friendly service. We’d definitely go back.

This is one of our "Go to" places for important days. I have been eating here for over 30 years. It is small, family owned and run by the same people. It does not feeling like you are eating a block off International Drive and just down the road from Sea World. I almost always get the beef carpachio and whatever the special is. My wife is a vegetarian and there are always many options. I enjoy their wine selection and they have Italian beer. I am not a desert guy but my guests often are. They look delicious. This is a great restaurant with great service. Not cheap Italian food, but very, very good

Waiter claimed we shorted him after taking our check for 20 minutes with cash and credit card. It was counted by 3 people at our table. They need new honest staff at this restaurant! I guess he thought $185 wasn’t enough tip! When he came up short we should’ve told him he o deduct it from his tip. It’s not our fault that there was only 4 tables all night.

Food was incredible. I have dined at many Italian restaurants and they have all fallen short to their “Authentic” claims but Ciao Italia has now become my top place to dine. Great detail in every dish, even the simple garlic bread service(not complimentary) was phenomenal. Excellent service as well

I saw a review of this restaurant on Open Table saying this was a place to not miss…and they were right. We had very attentive service, great homemade food, and a wonderful atmosphere. The servers were very friendly with the kids and they had children menu options. Would go again

We travel to Orlando a lot. When we do, and time permits, we go to Ciao as much as possible. This weekend we made sure to take guests who joined us in Orlando here to experience the food. You cannot go wrong. Also, do not let the strip mall it sits in scare you. It’s a hidden gem. Do not hesitate to make a reservation.
