   This was not the experience expected. We have been to other resort restaurants for the Arizona Restaurant Week and had excellent experiences. Cielo looked just as good from the advertising. Unfortunately the advertising was not accurate. There was a delay in getting seated. We were seated next to the bar beside a very loud group who were cursing prolifically. The wait staff were inexperienced and failed to do routine service to our table. The food was bland at best with the main dishes being Chilean sea bass (no flavor at all) and braised short ribs (little to no flavor). Quite a disappointing experience to be highlighted for Restaurant Week.

   We had both dinner and breakfast at Cielo. It is a beautiful dining room and the menu looks yummy however I feel they were ill prepared for dinner service this particular weekend. For sinner, we waited 20 minutes beyond our reservation. I specifically booked late 8:15 to avoid all the general traffic and family dining. It seems they were seating based on FCFS and not by reservation time. We were told the kitchen was overwhelmed. We ordered scallops and steaks. They arrived within 10 minutes of ordering and tasted like they were pre-made ahead. The cost of dinner and one glass of wine was over half of what we paid for the room. For both breakfast and dinner the orders were wrong when they arrived at the table. We were also informed 1 or 2 items were out of stock that evening/morning. The service as great and we appreciated the beautiful view while we dinned.

   Nestled in the mountains with beautiful views, Cieolo at Adero is a lovely place to be. Indoor/outdoor dining allows for total climate control while still enjoying the outdoor experience. My most recent visit was with four other people during restaurant week, and even with a packed house they seated us right away and the service was on point and timely. I highly recommend for just a drink at the bar, lunch on the patio, or a spectacular dinner.

   Beautiful view, comfortable setting, excellent service. The food was OK. Appetizers were so big that by the time the main course came, we weren't at all hungry. Food was not served as hot as I expected. The "gambas" came out luke warm. They are pretty much at the top of the price spectrum which would lead me to expect better food.

   The food was terrible , every course. (How do you do that?). The meat was so bad no flavor the salad had too much dressing and the dessert ,chocolate cake , was dry. I will never recommend this place. Oh and I almost forgot. They opened the sliding doors where the views were only to let the moths and bugs fly in. One of the worst experiences I have ever had in a restaurant.

   We tried Cielo for Restaurant Week 2023. Both of our meals were outstanding. We both had the Gambas as the appetizer, which included 5 large shrimp. I had the braised short ribs, which were fork tender. My spouse had the Airline Chicken, which included the skin and was delicious. I had the Lava Cake and he had the Honey Pie, both of which were good. We will definitely be going back. And the view is unsurpassed.

    We visited during restaurant week and took advantage of the select menu, the food was good and we appreciated the selections on the menu. I would recommend a visit, especially at sunset, the view of Fountain Hills is amazing.

    Waiter seemed annoyed by the fact we were there for Restaurant week. He noted that he would, “let it slide” because I should have selected my menu when someone called me the day prior to my reservation. My call said nothing about what menu I was selecting, rather confirmed party size and time. Overall, it seemed very odd and kind of put a damper on what would have been a great experience.

    First visit, went for Arizona Restaurant Week. Nice property in a beautiful location. 3 course meal, shrimps were good, salad was just okay - too heavy on the dressing. Filet was real nice. Lava cake for dessert was only so-so. Chairs are uncomfortable for elderly. A decent night out.

    Went for a nice evening to have dinner and enjoy the sunset on the superstition mountains. The service and pleasant nature of staff was very nice, especially Mason our server. He suggested lavender in my old fashioned and that made it fabulous. The scallops and shrimp scampi we had were good and the farro risotto was a different offering to try. I definitely recommend Cielo as a very lovely romantic place to dine for any or no occasion ☺️

    Absolutely fabulous experience! My husband and I spent the weekend celebrating my birthday at the Adero Resort. We had an 8pm reservation for the restaurant week experience. We were seated right away on the patio. It has a romantic atmosphere and a beautiful view. There was a preset 3 course menu with great selections. The meal was delicious, specialty cocktails were great and service was attentive and fast. We really enjoy Cielo and will be back!

    Visited for Restaurant week. Had a prefix menu and looked forward to the meal. Ordered mid rare steak received extreme well done, no sauce, and no steak knife. Took longer to receive a refire. Then had a fly in the wine. For desert we ordered a lava cake and got back a flourless dry cake, and the other option wasn’t even available. Had to pay full price. I will never never never go back. I would suggest Applebees before going to Cielo.

    Despite the unfortunate event of having a foreign object in my meal, the service staff was wonderful in addressing the matter promptly. However, the staff chose to address this with the only male at the table assuming he was responsible for the bill instead of me who experienced the mishap. The views were beautiful and I would come back.

    Really delicious meal. Shrimp appetizer, various salads, and one of their fish dishes. They were accommodating in switching the accompanying side for vegetables. Wine choices were Good, something for everyone. Our server was attentive and kept our water glasses filled. The views are absolutely beautiful, and bonus that a storm came rolling in that was fun to watch. Absolutely love the new menu and what the chef is doing.

    Food wasn't quite to the level of a restaurant charging $48 for just a filet. Sides had good flavor, but some weren't fully cooked or seemed to not be cooked right. Staff was friendly and attentive, but food needs help at this price point, and drinks/wine seem overpriced, too.

    Great location, small Mothers Day buffet. Not crowded. The food was mostly room temperature or cooler, not very appetizing. Some one should teach this restaurant how to do a buffet. Our server was helpful but scattered. We probably won’t be returning next year.

    This was a disappointment! I have been through a Mother’s Day brunch in the past at this restaurant during previous management and it was worth every penny of it. This time it was the worst looking brunch I have ever been. The food was placed on the hallway with serving platters in such a no appealing way. I felt I was in cheap brunch at a motel. Cold eggbeaters as scramble egg, cold eggs Benedict piled up, again cold and overcooked or undercooked . The bread pudding or whatever it was call was a pale milk bread. Very limit options. Not worth at all the 65$ per person. I guess you can get away with this level of culinary when you have a nice view. Sad!

    Beautiful setting. Food was good, but cold. Buffet style must be challenging to keep warm . Service delivered water and mimosas and the restaurant automatically added 20% tip. I usually tip that but let me decide. The service person even told us when he delivered the bill that the tip was automatically added, (table of 2), then stood over us and said that we could tip more if we thought his service deserves more. That struck a wrong chord with me.

    Our visit was to celebrate Mother's Day with a Brunch...while our view was absolutely outstanding, we were disappointed with the limited food selection & quality, the lack of a dessert buffet & the exhorbitant price of "unlimited mimosas." While we're willing to pay more for a fabulous spread, this dining experience was underwhelming; probably will not return again...

    Expecting a top notch Mother’s Day brunch and instead it was a boring hotel style buffet. So disappointing. And service was so terrible and there was so many workers just standing around. I will not go back. The view is gorgeous. Such a shame

    New menu, not same as old menu still showing on web site, so, no salmon for example. Prices are much, much higher - hotel pricing now. They serve No bread...period...my wife's scallops were served practically raw. The waiter had no experience with wine - did not offer us a taste, spilled a lot, poured essentially a tasting sized amount for each person to drink. We weren't initially provided the wine list, just the regular menu which lists overpriced wines by the glass. The hostess was gracious, comped us the bottle of wine, but we've been eating there for over six years back to when it was Flourish and it is simply not the same restaurant

    as visitors to this location, under various themes/ownerships, for past 20 years…..we found our most recent visit to be underwhelming. Pleasant wait person, pleasant hostess………..both feeling “not able to please their customers”. Why? Best example: Bread. No bread is served. No bread is available. And when the hostess and wait person is asked, they apologize and mentioned it’s the most requested item, but the facility doesn’t allow the serving of bread. Hard to understand that decision.

    It's all about the view. Food was better than expected based on previous experiences there. However, the prices are $$$$$ when considering the food. Appetizer and entrees were room temperature, serving size is small.
