    Very good food and service. We came after 9pm and our food came out fast. The table behind us had a child watching tv on a phone very loudly. I wish restaurants had a rule against that. It’s very disruptive to people who are trying to enjoy a meal after a long day, and they don’t go out much. The bartender was our server and she was really nice and attentive.

    Passable food, poor service. We had to remind our waiter that we had ordered drinks and didn't receive them until we were done with our food. He couldn't tell us which drink was which. Our kids didn't get the applesauce with their meal until after they were done eating. Waiter was MIA.

    Food was not good, we ordered tortilla soup and it tasted like tomato soup. Fajitas were dry and over cooked. Best this was the chips and salsa.

    The food is obviously mostly canned/ pre-made. The queso tastes like velveeta. The rice and beans seem like they are canned or frozen. Salsa also seems like it’s from a jar at Walmart. The restaurant was almost empty but we didn’t seem to get much attention from our server. Prices are ridiculously high for the quality of food we received. I understand prices have gone up up there is no way that the menu prices reflect what you are served. We were all completely underwhelmed by the quality and quantity of what we were served.

    We waited at the reception desk for 10 minutes even though we had reservations. Granted, we were a large party, but the restaurant was next to empty, so I don't understand the reason for the wait. I hoped the experience would turn around once we were seated, but unfortunately that was not the case. The service was sub par the entire time, and we were equally disappointed in the food and drink. Calling this place a Tequileria is ironic considering my margarita had zero taste of tequila - it was straight sweet and sour mix and it tasted so awful I couldn't even finish it (and I guess it's a good thing, because it took 20 minutes for our table to get one round of crappy drinks...and we were seated right next to the bar). If you are going to charge the prices you are, you really need to step up your game on all fronts. This is not the quality of food, drinks and service that I would expect from a resort as nice as Kalahari.

    We received a gift card for Cinco Ninos at Kalahari so decided to make a reservation through Open Door. There was a Halloween event for kids (with a $20 parking fee😳) so the whole place was hopping. We were seated right in a traffic area which proved pretty noisy. Food was good, service was very friendly but a little slow. Overall we had a good time and will likely return.

    Service was extremely slow. Chips and salsa were both delicious. The menu was very limited and not the same menu I had viewed online. I ordered the street tacos, the meat was extremely dry. Rice and black beans - so,so. The best part was the MANGO HOUSE MARGARITA, after I finally got it!

    Our food was wrong 3 times and it took a very long time. We had fajitas and it took 20 mins for the sides to come out with it after the food was on the table. They manager came out and said he was going to take care of it. The waiter never came back. We finally had to catch him to ask about the bill, and the only thing they took off was my wife’s food. The bartender tried to help us multiple times and would come out and then realize that our food was still not there and she would go back and try to get it for us.

    Love the new menu! Our server from Turkey was beyond awesome - attentive, helpful and funny. It was a little cold for my liking but I managed. The manager stopped by to check on us and said they were here to serve us. Love the new management and food. We are local and have stayed away but we will be frequenting more often now.

    Sat on the patio. Had a bunny come hop around for a bit. Temperature was nice. Guacamole was small, but good. Fajitas were good- very rare to get peppers nowadays but plenty of onions and peppers served. Lots of toppings as well. Shrimp tacos were good but dry- could’ve used a sauce of some kind. My daughter didn’t like the ground beef taco and my other daughter felt the street steak tacos were a bit dry and only room temp. Overall, food was good for the location and price. Served very promptly. Would eat here again but only if staying onsite.

    After sitting for about 40 minutes at the table with only water and chips we decided to leave this place. The waiter no where in sight. Thank goodness we left not even trying the food here even after when we read the reviews on this restaurant we knew it would be a bad experience with the food as well. Not even having been able to try this place was a win. B-Lux outstanding service just across the resort better service and customer satisfied you should learn something from them

    Food was ok. Service was very slow for not a lot of people being in there to begin with. Server was nice. Sometimes a little too comfy. Sat down multiple times to talk to several different patrons. Not really allowing people to enjoy their meals in peace.

    Do not eat here, unless you like blan commercial Mexican food! The green enchiladas were fair, the rice & beans were nothing special! My wife had cheese enchiladas and they were blan af! My daughter liked her crispy taco and my son liked his steak & cheese quesadilla. But this place needs to do better for the price of their food! Never again!!

    I understand that the waiter was extremely busy but what I noticed was that the hostess just led us to our table and told us out waiter would be there. We waited 15 minutes before our waiter showed which was understandable because I saw him working on two busy tables taking up his time. What ticked me off was that the hostess led another family to their table and immediately grabbed them chips and salsa and we were still waiting. That was the only thing that really got to me. Other that that, the waiter was very nice and attentive.

    The food itself was surprisingly good - not too heavy, carefully put together, and really tasty. The service was painfully slow for no apparent reason - the restaurant didn't seem very crowded and we were just a 4 top with an uncomplicated order. The prices are ridiculous, but what you would expect from an in-resort restaurant.

    Unfortunately, this was a terrible experience. We’ll definitely return to Kalahari but will NOT dine here. To begin with we waited 20 minutes to be seated even though we had a reservation. We waited almost 40 minutes to get our drinks (only 2 of us ordered drinks). I think the drinks should have been comped, which would have made me feel slightly better. I lost track of how long it took to receive our food…unbelievable. A very frustrating experience, to say the least.

    Appetizer was the best part of the meal and it was burnt. Service was mediocre until the meal was finished and then the server disappeared for more than 10 minutes. The bar staff closed out our check.

    So disappointing... we had to wait even after we had a reservation. Then we were finally were seated and the. Had to request our waiter after 20 mins of waiting for drinks. Waiter finally shows up... and 30 mins later we finally got drinks. We didn't have silverware. And waited an hr for even the appetizer. Very disappointed
