Circa 27 Lounge at Hotel Saskatchewan
My expectations were not met. We were not greeted upon arrival and waited over 20 minutes until a waitress came to our table. It was not busy either. The food was of good quality. Unfortunately one out of four of us received the wrong entree and it took another 30 minutes to receive her food. When the bill came I had to suggest my friend receive compensation for her wrong entree.
We absolutely loved our dining experience! The food was wonderful and we appreciated the uniquely Saskatchewan influence on the menu options.
Our server was very helpful and knowledgeable in regards to the wine and menu options. Loved it!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. The service, food, atmosphere was outstanding . I would definitely return and recommend to others .
The Hotel Saskatchewan is an amazing place to go and have a meal, the staff are very friendly and look after you very well
It is a very elegant place. We always enjoy having our special occasion meals there
Thought we were booking a high end restaurant at the Hotel Saskatchewan. Very disappointed to see that it was a bar lounge open to the lobby. Food was overpriced and simply not great. Not as advertised on website. Doesn't the Hotel Saskatchewan have a decent restaurant for a sit down dinner on a Friday night to celebrate a special occasion?
Would recommend with a disclaimer. It is not fine dining with a cozy quiet intimate atmosphere anymore. It’s. Bar. And that made me sad. BUT the staff did put my group in the tea lounge, we were the ONLY people in there and that was the only way it was possible to enjoy our supper celebrating a special occasion - wouldn't have heard each other otherwise. Hotel Sask used to be THE place for classy, elegant sofisticated dining. Good thing my meal was outstanding. Although the pastry chef is trying too hard with the desserts. Too much focus on being plated in a fancy way - not enough actual dessert on the plate for the price. And I finished it before I realized it wasn’t a palate cleanser and was actually my food.
