   Very confused about all of the high reviews. I’m wondering if my husband and I just ate here on an off night. The food was extremely bland and void of any flavor what so ever. The drinks were okay but other than that, we were very disappointed.

   Chicken and salmon dishes were dry, and not terribly warm. Had to wait a long time for initial service, and our server did not promptly deliver drinks, etc. when asked. He would disappear for long stretches. Perhaps over stretched? The food was good, not great. We had a nice meal, but I might look elsewhere next time.

    Sat at the bar. Service was great. Drinks were delicious. Had the oysters and fig flatbread. Food was very good. Not your typical hotel restaurant type food. Highly recommend.

    The food was very good, and the ambience lovely. Overall, quite nice. However, the service left quite a bit to be desired. Our waiter, who was friendly enough, seemed to have a large table he was covering in another room and so getting his attention (or even a sighting of him) was a challenge. We asked for bread four times before anyone came with any. ; and, after he brought back menus so we could look over dessert options it was another 30 minutes before he came back to check on us. Not his fault, I don't believe - it's just that they were short-staffed which left us short-changed.

    Excellent service by Kim. Good vibe and comfortable atmosphere. The broccoli & leak soup was excellent as were the chips. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the bolognese. My steak was tasty but a bit difficult to chew. All in all, it was a good visit. We plan to back again.

    The server clearly started yesterday. She had absolutely no concept on how to wait on a table, u couldn’t understand a single word she said, she disappeared the entire meal. The pizza tasted like something worse than a college cafeteria. The chicken was a poor excuse for meal. Overall the entire experience was a complete overpriced waste of $

    Really great breakfast. I’m staying at a hotel across the street that doesn’t have a restaurant so it was great location for me. Food is plentiful and really tasty - a good set up for the day ahead.

    We arrived on time. Our server was nice but we didn't even get to see him for more than a minute. we got rushed placing our orders in which we were okay with until we realized the food was not coming out anytime soon. The food came out an hour later and god it was not even mediocre for the price. it was cold, dry and stale. We got a burger with fries and the roasted chicken which we thought were the safest options but after we got them we just wanted to eat a little and head out. considering how long the food took to get to us and how bad it was; it wasn't even worth it to get something else or changed because that would've taken even longer. There are way too many places in the Bay Area for cheaper who do much much better food. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else

    Valentines Dinner was a success. Other than not having a non-alcoholic drink option in stock, everything went off without a hitch. Nice ambiance, cheese plate was perfect size and selections. Sirloin special was cooked perfectly, the only criticism is that the sauce would have been better served as a side. It was delish but everything on the plate was swimming in the sauce.

    We truly enjoyed this meal of tuna tartare, octopus, and cod. The cocktails were well made and the carrot cake dessert was delicious. Our server was attentive and friendly. Give this restaurant a try!
