The service wasn’t great… very slow. Then found out we were waiting longer for our dessert because there was a photoshoot in the kitchen. I was there at certain places while this photoshoot was taking place and so I’m disappointed that as a paying customer I had to wait for my meal because of this. The food was ok. Don’t need reservations though.

We had a lovely quiet dinner (week after Labour Day). Service by Jeff was outstanding and the food was fresh and delicious. Drink & dessert selection was excellent. Very happy that this restaurant will be open for the winter.

This was our first visit to Cliffside but it won't be our last. We had a delicious and delightful lunch there on our anniversary. We found the staff swift and friendly, the food flawless and the ambience lovely. No special request was too difficult for them and their recognition of our many years of marriage was a bonus. Getting there was the only hitch: we do recommend you put up a few more signs on the way in -- we thought we were lost. And the prospect of that big hill approaching the restaurant on foot from the parking lot was intimidating. Thankfully, the alert staff at the Pro Shop jumped in to offer a golf cart ride up the hill! Thank you Cliffside and Muskoka Bay Resort.

Neat place to have a drink. Order 2 at a time as service is slow with being understaffed. Food was nothing special at all. Very bland rib eye. Wife’s chicken parm was dry. Views were amazing but food could have been better.

Wonderful food a little expensive now that you’re paying for all your sides separately but very tasty! Noise level though was out of this world hard to talk to each other and celebrate our anniversary Probably sitting in the bar would have been more comfortable Restaurant itself is beautiful

We are in our honeymoon. We picked this place as a nice dinner during sunset We ended up getting a braised rib instead of the ribeye. The ribeye was the worst ever, came in like jn 8 mins not sure how it was cooked, no seasoning, no salt no taste, as if it was cooked in an air fryer. Very disappointed. The server offered us dessert due to the delay but the ribeye that came was tasteless and we were hungry. We decided to leave it was 9 pm and there was no were to eat. We won’t go again

Seated quickly, ordered right away, everything took a really long time. Restaurant wasn’t busy but we were told the kitchen was swamped and we were offered bread. Even drinks took a long time to arrive when ordered. When food finally did arrive our pizza was totally burned on the bottom.

Beautiful location! We sat on the patio, the view of the golf course is spectacular. Service was wonderful. Our server, Maddy was very welcoming and personable. Attentive to our needs. We would strongly recommend this location.

We could not have had a better experience. The patio, the music, the food, the view…. All outstanding! But Natalie, our server, was beyond great at her job! She was professional , enjoyed her job and was truly engaged in making our experience njoyable.

Big nice patio with a an equally nice view. Very good food and service. Mahi mahi tacos were to die for, and so were fingerling potatoes and brussel sprouts. Their sides are very generous, and can be shared by two people. We had a glass of NZ Sauvignon blanc each and it was excellent. We fully enjoyed the dinner with the view and plan to be back soon.

There was a significant wait for the Hostess especially as we had made a reservation for 5:30pm for two people. Our waitress was a charming young lady and she is not the reason for the lower overall score, and she was tipped well for her service. We did wait a long time for the food to arrive including the soup which was featured- wait was about 20 minutes for the soup. However our main issue (and this is perhaps not fair to the restaurant) the person who drives the supersized cart that ferries people up the hill from the parking lot rolled right (empty) past my 82 year old husband as he climbed the hill to the restaurant-the driver did notice my husband as the cart driver waived at him. The noise level was fine until later when two groups comprised mainly of male golfers (there was a huge trophy present) arrived then it became very noisy but we were ready to leave in any case. Our positive recommendation thus comes with reservations especially as we have eaten at this restaurant in the past both for lunch and supper.

First point, our server Avery was outstanding, give that girl top marks! She made the whole visit amazing!! I came wanting the wild mushroom ravioli & she knew we were veggies & was honest with me & let me know that it had tuna in it. Big letdown, the tuna was a deal breaker, it should be listed in the description. I got the margherita pizza & it was good but I felt like I had settled, wasn't what I had my heart set on. Due to a food allergy the falafels couldn't even be considered. Husband really enjoyed his tacos & lava cake. I did the carrot cake cheesecake, that was a win!!! All in all I would go back as the experience was very restful sitting on the patio. Food was good but didn't blow me out of the water.

Had a reservation for 7:30 but was messed up by the staff, which forced us to wait at the bar for an hour until we were seated. Staff were not the nicest or accommodating. Despite this, our server was nice and the food was amazing. Recommend this for people who are older as we find they don’t take younger adults seriously.
