    We really enjoyed out first time at Coal Town Public House! We were celebrating my dad's birthday and they went above and beyond to make him feel special. The hostess team was so kind and worked with us to change our reservation time when we were running late. The wait staff was overall really great! Most of the food was excellent! House-Made Focaccia is a must - so good! The Steak fries were 5 stars! Salmon Burger was a 3.5 out of 5 stars. The bun was great! Steak Frites were kinda tough/chewy. Calamari had a great taste but was also pretty chewy. Shrimp Cabanerra was definitely the best entre at our table. Vibes were great. They had a great outdoor patio. There really isn't a bad seat in the house. Would definitely go back when in the area!

    We popped in for a quick, but quality, meal before a football game. Menu has options for all food lovers! Food was delicious and the service was excellent! The ambiance and energy was really hip and fun. We will definitely be back!

    Sitting at the bar enjoying brunch drinks and exceptional food was perfect for us. Professional staff and super service made it all very enjoyable. A big thanks for not piping in the sound from the flat screens as the games were being played.

    Best pork chop I have ever had. It was was perfectly cooked and cut like butter. The drinks were fantastic, live music was the perfect volume and my server, Nick, was so knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

    We enjoyed the food and live entertainment on Thursday. The musician, Jim Hayden, is very talented and is able to play all of our requested songs. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. Nick provided exemplary service! The food was outstanding and was a good value for the price. We will definitely be back!

    Beautiful location and the atmosphere is great. Good was better than average. Salmon burger was a little fishy. Needed some lemon or lemon zest. Server was fabulous and the drinks were delish. Will certainly go again to this beautiful restaurant.

    Overall: okay but won’t return. I booked a same-day reservation here to celebrate mine and my fiancé’s engagement with my parents after he had proposed earlier in the day. We chose this restaurant based on what we saw as the menu online and reservation-availability. My fiancé and I arrived earlier than expected, and the hostess was very accommodating. She first sat us on the enclosed patio side which ended up being too warm for us. She was really sweet with reseating us in a booth before my parents arrived. Our waitress provided average service and congratulated us on our engagement once my parents arrived and she saw all of the hugs and congratulations happening. She was attentive throughout and provided us with a table fan when some flies wouldn’t leave us alone. The menu was limited compared to what we had seen posted. This was inconvenient as I had specially chosen this place to give my less adventurous parents plenty to choose from. I had the gnocchi. It seemed a little thrown together and not the best I’ve had but not bad. My fiancé had the pork chop and it was definitely the winner at the table. He loved it! My mom had a salad and my dad had a flatbread. Both were average and overpriced. My fiancé and I live an alcohol-free lifestyle so appreciate places that have mocktails and theirs did not disappoint! I loved the freshness of the Garden Verde. My dad had their house margarita and my mom had a sangria and they both seemed to enjoy their drinks. Why not returning: I didn’t realize this restaurant is in a neighborhood so parking was not the easiest. Second, I’m fairly certain my parents were overcharged. They didn’t say anything given the occasion but we think it was at least $50 over. And finally, what we think was the manager actually came over and let us know there was another party waiting for our table. I’ve NEVER had a restaurant do this. We weren’t even there long. He couldn’t ruin our special day, but it definitely lowered the mood.

    Burger was ok, I thought it was a little on the greasy side. Fries were nothing special out of a bag. My wife had the salmon burger, and she said it was good. Cocktails were ok. I had better food and drinks across the street at Scouts.

    The food was terrific, and I'm already looking forward to my leftovers. But the real star was the service. I have auditory sensitivities that make it difficult to go out to eat. I mentioned my auditory sensitivities to the hostess, and she was on it! She did a quick tour of the restaurant and came back with two idea of where we could sit comfortably. She took me to both and let me choose. I've never had that level of thoughtfulness... We had a wonderful meal, and it was a fabulous experience in every way. We'll be back soon!

    Exquisite place! BBQ Ban Mi is OUTSTANDING! Love the vibe and ambience. Although they sat us on the back screened in porch on a hot day so it was a little uncomfortable. It had only fans and no air conditioner. But a really fun, inviting and great place!

    Nick, our waiter was knowledgeable, solicitous and efficient. Food was excellent. We were outside and, alas, the flies were tenacious. The fly fans were all broken which was unfortunate particularly since it turned out they had all been broken for a while. The devil is in the details and this was it !

    Love this restaurant, but disappointed the chicken was taken off and caprese Salad was not on menu. Please bring those back or my family will not be frequenting as often. Service is always awesome and the staff are so friendly. We always bring our out of town visitors to this restaurant.

    This was our first time dining due to having a gift card. We were pleased with how quick items came out and how friendly the service was. I highly recommend the calamari and steak frites. Nice band playing, large area for bigger groups, nice bar scene where everyone was enjoying their evening. We will certainly be back!

    We had a large group of 9 and our waitress was extremely good at handling us through drinks, dinner and dessert. She also was able to split the bill for us. Our drinks were good and everyone’s dinner delicious. I had the BBQ brisket Bahn Mi and ate half because it was big - great choice! The cheesecake dessert was super, the bread pudding could have used some more moistness and the chocolate tart very rich. We sat on the porch which was comfortable and relatively calm. Would surely go back.
