The food was extremely average but the cocktails were outstanding. The service was okay but the prices were very high. I understand the high prices because of the location. Everyone was very friendly and we really wanted this to be great. Unfortunately it was just okay.

Stay Away unless you want terrible service and a high price. reserved table was given away to outdoor diner that had "changed their mind" to eat inside; compromised to get seated and ate at bar, which was totally out of Savignon blanc wine (Mother's Day at 530?) ; had to ask for water 5 different times and no refills on a hot evening, waitress forgot to order appetizer, came after our entrees were delivered and no offer to take off bill; 4 x25 ct lukewarm shrimp @22$? used to dine here at least monthly and the 2 favorite dishes were not on the menu but no publicity the menu would be different. Side salad delivered with dressing tossed when asked for on the side. A complete disappointment to what we were hoping would be a nice Mother's Day dinner. we heard there is new ownership? they have a long way to go to match what used to be standard at this establishment. we wont be back!

They were not prepared for Mothers Day. It was chaos. Long waits - my 5pm reservation for 4 took 45 minutes to seat us. Took an hour to get our food once our waiter finally came. No substitutions, even though my son has dietary restrictions. He couldn’t eat his sides, and the entree was small. He left hungry, which was extra frustrating after the long wait. The prices do not align with the quality or service.

Nice place. Seemed like the kitchen was very overwhelmed as everything took a long time to come out. Extremely disappointed in the portion size of the chicken on the chicken and waffles. Literally was the size of the chicken you get on a CFA breakfast biscuit. It was also very very thin and dry. Not worth the $25 price tag for that dish.

Our first visit since the restaurant came under new management. Mother’s Day Brunch! Fantastic and we will be back again! Service was excellent. Shelly? Hostess sat us on the patio, so comfortable. Live Music on the patio began a gentle backdrop fora particularly wonderful brunch with my aunt her partner & Bill and I. We were warned by our server Carly the kitchen was backed up, it could be a 30 minute wait! It wasn't.

We went for Mother’s Day brunch and they were clearly overbooked. The only issue was that even though we arrived within the 15 min wait period for our reservation they at first didn’t want to seat us. A manager had to step in and would only allow us to sit outside. It all worked out, but they were eager to try to turn us away at first.

We’ve eaten here a few times a loved it. The food this time around was awful. Fries were overcooked, shrimp was overcooked and dry, food was poor quality (frozen calamari) and just really a disappointment. It’s too bad because it’s a great location and they have great staff.

Sunday was our 3rd brunch at Coalition. The place was practically empty. Despite being empty, our food took over half an hour. When we sat down, we had to hand back all 5 glasses on the table because they had either lip marks on the rims or food stuck to the inside. Nasty! We should have left then. While the hostess was friendly and bubbly, she kept trying to clear the table as we were winding down. I appreciate a good pre-bus as much as anyone, but this was ridiculous. At one point, she took my napkin and all of the kids drinks. We weren’t done. I had to ask for my napkin back. I didn’t realize that she also took my water until I wanted it, and it was gone. Some proper etiquette training is MUCH needed. Drinks and napkins remain until the customers leave the building. She also came by twice to clear items. The second time I had to ask for our check. Our server hadn’t been by, and while we were winding down enough for the hostess to see she could take items, our server was no where to be found to let us pay. We won’t be back. Very disappointed. It was obvious that their staff was more focused on their side work and click out checklists than ensuring we had an enjoyable experience. For reference, our reservation was at 12:30.

Menu options were wonderful. Food was amazing - quick once we ordered, hot, and delicious. Service has some challenges. Our server was wonderful. He was always obviously waiting on customers and tables. We had delays between drink, app, and dinner orders. They need more servers to cover the tables. But our server was so wonderful, we went with it. Very, very, very noisy. And everyone continues to speak louder to hear over everyone else. Suggest going during non-peak times to enjoy the food.

Food was way too bland and over-cooked to be worth the price they’re charging. $34 for a lobster roll that’s half the size it should be and without a drop of butter is ludicrous. Servers were nice, but we were sat as the only table in a section then they immediately sat people in the section but at the table right next to us. The people they sat asked if they could sit somewhere else and were basically told no so we were forced to awkwardly sit next to each other as the only two parties in that space. Menu looks promising but the shrimp tacos we got were so over-cooked that it tasted like a piece of tire. Not worth the money.

Very good food and service! We had a group of 7 ladies prior to the Alpharetta wine festival and it was a great way to start our Sunday. Brunch is fab❤️

The service was extremely attentive and prompt. The pretzel bites are more like mini rolls than pretzels and the fish and chips was served slightly underdone. It is not a bad place, but they probably need to work out a few of the kinks with the kitchen.

New menu with more seafood options is great, especially the addition of oysters on half shell. Salmon BLT is consistently delicious. Like most restaurants in DT Alpharetta, finding good servers appears to be a problem. Hopefully, this will be resolved but thumbs up on food quality.
