   An anniversary dinner that we will remember for the quality of the food, wine and service. My wife and I had different tasking courses and matched wines. The combination of the food, the wine, the service and the atmosphere made it exceptional and far above anything in the Northeast. Coast at the Ocean House never disappoints and is especially outstanding in the off season. The staff presented us with gifts post dinner. Uncalled for but much appreciated. Shout outs to the new sommelier, Anthony, and Meredith. Informative, polite, and attentive. We look forward to your next adventure with Coast.

   We had a truly delightful evening. The 5 course meal was served at just the right intervals with just the right amount of food. The food was excellently prepared, creative but not weird and aesthetically pleasing. A pleasure to be there.

   I’ve eaten at the Jules Verne at the Eiffel Tower and this place Coast is a true masterpiece. No point of leaving words to describe the experience. I’ll let you decide. Must try!

   Coast provides a dining experience not to be rivaled by any establishment in the New England region. The culinary team and highly professional service staff created the dining experience of a lifetime. Every move made by the staff was one of purpose and care, accompanied by perfectly paired menu items that change by the season. All of this was surrounded by a meticulously designed dining room overlooking the water.

    The food was very good, but not at the level you expect for a $145 prix fix tasting menu. Usually at a restaurant of this caliber, there are one or two things where you say “this was the best thing I’ve ever tasted in my life”. That did not happen here. It tasted great, but there was nothing I ate that would make me want to go back. The service was amazing and the staff was excellent. The food was just not as expected.

    The chef prepared five different courses for us on a prefix menu. Two menus are provided, one which has meat and the other which is vegetarian. Both menu choices are fabulous. The view from The Ocean House can’t be beat! The night we were there a spectacular rainbow wowed us. The staff were friendly and professional. Overall, we had a wonderful time.

    What a perfect evening. Our server, Connor was amazing and explained everything so well. His attention to detail was unsurpassed and he made our anniversary perfect. Every singe course of the food was amazing, as was the ambience. The chocolates at the end were a wonderful touch. Overall, it was from start to finish, a fantastic experience. As we were leaving, they gave us a beautiful copy of our menu and a lovely coffee cake for breakfast!

    Last night I treated a friend to Coast for his birthday, and although I was expecting great food and decent ambience, I was not expecting good service. The previous several times I'd been to Ocean House, the staff had seemed amateurish. My friend and I had surmised that servers rotate in from various restaurant programs around the world to get experience--in my opinion at the expense of the diner. Because the location is great and my friend likes the food, I was prepared to grit my teeth and overlook the well meaning but bad service as I've done every time in the past. However, last night I was delighted by impeccable service at our prix fixe meal. Our server--was his name Connor?--was pitch perfect. He addressed me (correctly) by my name, he knew it was my friend's birthday, and he paid close attention to us in a way that was attentive but not cloying. He was knowledgeable about everything from the food to the hotel, and was warm and appropriate. I haven't experienced a level of service like that in a long time. On our way out, many smiling people bid us good night, and we were presented with gorgeous mini coffee cakes as parting gifts. I was knocked out. It was just wonderful. And the food! Outstanding, course after course of it. Ocean House, please keep up the good work!

    Great location, amazing staff, very elegant!! Food was great in terms of ingredients and presentation. But taste was very bland and flat, at least the vegetarian pre-fix meal.

    Fantastic evening with incredible food and delightful service. The tasting menu is well thought out and impeccably executed. All dishes were amazing and did not fail to delight. Only negative was the chairs- rather uncomfortable - soft cushions and we had to sit for a long time . Chairs aside I would highly recommend Coast

    Coast is an oasis in a desert of restaurants in the area. Fine dining at its best, redolent of finer European establishments. Smaller quantities, excellent and attentive service, exquisite tastes, and an extensive wine cellar, focusing heavily on American producers. This is not a cheap experience at all - $300 to $600 for a party of 2 - but well, well worth it if you are looking for something special. Formal dress ode and quiet relaxed environment with no hurrying between courses - just the right aunt of time. Will continue to frequent from time to time as their menu changes

    Coast is a very high end experience. We found the food to be excellent, although the portions were quite small, even for a multi course meal. Service was excellent, and the team performed their jobs seamlessly.
