This is a place I would recommend to friends. The band was very nice and the food was good. Don't care for the seat arrangement much but that was just me.
Food tastes great and the live music was good. I made a reservation but for we were arriving it was not really needed.
The live band experience is what everyone needs to hear. We ordered the seafood platter and it was awesome. We will most definently be back soon.
Loves the love music! Waiter was wonderful
Very good selection on the menu and food was good. I was there on a Tuesday night and few patrons were there and no live music. The facility is a good size and most tables can see the music area. There is adequate parking and easy to get to off the the expressway.
The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because we went on Mother's Day and once we were seated it took maybe 15 minutes before a server came. We had to let another staff member know, no one has come to our table yet. Also, it took an hour for my husband to receive his meal. He ordered the blackened salmon, with mac &cheese and green beans per the menu. An hour later, he received the salmon with mac and cheese and collard greens. The buffet was not as good as last year's mother day buffet. Some of the foods could have used more seasoning and the selection seemed smaller compared to last year. I have been other times , just for a regular dinner and service was not bad or the food, so maybe buffets and special occasions are too much to handle
Mother’s Day here was horrible. We had a reservation for 3:30, they seated us immediately and we waited an hour and a half to get our food. The waiter never stopped to refill our drinks or update us on the status of our food. The live music was too loud. The gratuity was included so we were forced to pay for bad service.
Horrible we were not seated on time then we were not greeted with our waitress..the food was cold and we waited an hour for our appetizers it was horrible
Outstanding food and team
First of all, we were greeted promptly. Very nice folks. Table was dirty. Server was upbeat and courteous. Prompt service. Brought entree salad out but with wrong dressing. States had run out after bringing to table. Food was still very good. Band way to loud for Sunday dinner. Could not hear each other talk.
We chose our reservation for 8:30 from the music venue we had attended. We arrived at 8:15 and was told there would be an hour wait. We left.
The manager on duty that evening was horrible. She was rude and unfriendly, and had a poor attitude.
The salmon was good, but the greens were too salty. Loved the Remy margarita! The bartender was excellent! If we could take her personality and spray it onto that manager, what a pleasure it would have been throughout. Tabitha blew us away with her voice and bubbly spirit. Overall, I enjoyed my Birthday celebration.
I must be honest about one thing, it was quiet because of the time my husband and I were there, it was Saturday about 1:30 pm. It was early.... Everything was excellent, there was no salt and pepper needed.
I will and have recommended Coaxums to my friends and family in GA and NY.... Coaxums will be my husband and I date night spot.
Live entertainment was great. Enjoyed the music selections. Location is ideal. Restaurant is clean and ambience was excellent. Food was very tasty. We had a minor issue with the steak, but management took care of it right away. Prices are reasonable. Portions are perfect. Overall a great experience and we look forward to telling others and going back again.
They killed it service was stellar
This was my second time visiting and the service and food were even better. Music and atmosphere were awesome as well. An overall 5 star experience and I would recommend this place for sure!
Great web site,,Seafood I have had better from Mrs Paul’s
Nice meal service was great.
The food was great and the staff was friendly. We enjoyed the band too
Great service and food was exceptional!!
Sat at the bar until my date arrived. They didnt have a sweet red wine so the Bartender made me a delicious Sangria. The food was delicious and the ambiance was great. It was my date's first time and he enjoyed it.
It was great! I think our waitress' name was Kendra. She knew her stuff! The mac n cheese was amazing! Creamy and then a thick layer of stringy goodness baked on top. The cajun seafood soup was chocked full of chunks of potatoes and seafood. Get your grub on!
Absolutely amazing dinner!
The wait time could have been better, even after having an birthday event planned. they also misspelled my first name.
Great local spot with good food and good music! I also went during mother's day brunch...food was soo good! Definitely will go again!
Great family spot, great dinner. I loved the sweet potatoes abd fried okra.
This place lived up to the reviews! Great food and great service. The salmon was well-prepared, Calamari freshly prepared and hot, and the seafood chowder was chock full of seafood! The ambiance was casual but a place to have a nice dinner. We plan to return...
Hubby and I tried out this place on a friend’s recommendation. We expected it to be good, instead it was phenomenal! The food was authentic low country with the perfect flavors and seasonings to make you want to go back again. The staff and owner were very friendly. The atmosphere warm and perfect for our “date” despite being a very large place. Looks like they can accommodate large parties with screens and live show settings. Well worth the drive no matter your location. The low country style gumbo and seafood pasta dishes were awesome. We took bread pudding home and nearly licked the plates. Great place.
The ambiance is very relaxed, and romantic. The Live Band is a plus; however, the dinner was very flavorful,my salmon/ grilled shrimp was just a minute over cooked. The Mule cocktail was the best I've had. Will be returning!!
The food was very good. I had the bourbon salmon with the 3 cheese mac and cheese and the sauteed green beans. My husband had the fried catfish with mashed potatoes and fried okra. All of the food was served hot, fresh and aa we ordered. The service was just ok at best. Our waitress had 2 or her large parties and so we were often forgotten about, but she was nice and did apologize. I'd recommend this restaurant to everyone!
I made a reservation but didn't need one. Seating was wide open. We were seated away from where the band was starting to set up. Enjoyed the music from afar but would have been nice to be closer to the music. The food was just ok. I've definitely had better seafood.
The fried shrimp is really good, but the Cajun pasta is incredible well seasoned! The live music and very attentive server capped off an excellent meal!
We went on a quiet night (Thursday). The service staff was friendly and attentive (but not intrusive) and the owner came to the table to thank us for coming and see if we were satisfied. We had blackened catfish, fried catfish, shrimp and grits and a salad. Also tried the Black-eyed Pea Hummus appetizer. Everything was fresh, well prepared and tasty. Would definitely visit again the next time we travel to the area.
The Salmon portion size was smaller than 6oz even though the manager tried to convince me otherwise. I am a certified chef and the size of my salmon made my entire meal dissatisfied for the price.
Great food, service and entertainment . Wonderful environment. Really enjoyed everything!!!!!
Can I get a Mojito? Was there for two hours, ordered a mojito four times, and finished the night having drank a Corona.
Steak was super fatty.
Honey buns to start are unique, but more like dessert.
People who work there are nice.
Good experience overall. Good food, but limited bar.
Live music was great and so was the food. Reasonably priced drinks as well.
The servers were excellent/attentive. The low country menu——yumm. We had the Fried Chicken and the Shrimp and Grits——just Very Good. The bar area was upscale and well stocked. Appreciated that the managers stopped by our table a couple of times just to check on us. Great live music. Didn’t expect all this in Conyers. Looking forward to our next visit!
This was a nice, upbeat restaurant setting for a date with my s/o. The food was a bit pricey for the serving size/quality (she ordered just the crab legs for the "build your own boil" and received two clusters for which I paid 36 dollars), but the service was great and the ambiance almost makes up for it (the live music was pretty nice). We'd be up for a return visit.
