Low key atmosphere, amazing crab soup, good selection of classic cocktails (well executed) and great happy hour apps (garlic fries ftw).
Ordered chicken pot pie. Half the puff pastry was burned on top and served with one half inch of filling. There was a total of three peas in the filling and very little chicken. First and last time here!
Limited menu. Salads left something to be desired. Service was great. Cocktails were superb.
Food was great and staff was friendly. Our table was ready for us when we arrived. Will defiantly come back for dinner again.
In all fairness I work for an upscale catering company so my standards are pretty high. The ambiance was nice, a little quiet because it was later in the evening and on a Sunday night. The customer service was good, but the food was just mediocre. We thought the French Dip was a little on the salty side, the Bacon Burger was okay and the Chicken Pot Pie came out with a burnt top and didn't have much flavor. The Raisin Pudding Bread was piping hot and burnt my daughters mouth. When the dessert came out with the whip cream being melted next to the pudding bread that should've been my first incline that it was over heated. We walked away with filled bellies but didn't really feel like it was worth the money spent. We are used to all of your recommendations being top notch, so yes we were a little disappointed to say the least.
We enjoyed our experience at the Cobalt Grill. The waitress was great, the ambience was nice. The food was delicious. The only thing was the drinks, while good, we felt were overpriced. The bill was higher than expected because of the drinks. Also, we got there at Happy Hour time, but this wasn't available? Unclear about this. Keep up the great food!
We had a good time, it seemed to show that they were a newer place, the food took a little time, and we had to ask for a few things. All in all though, the food was tasty, our server was friendly and the ambiance was good. We will be back.
The Chicken Pot Pie is the best comfort food I can imagine. The flaky pastry is perfect and the chicken "pie" filling is so tasty. You can easily order this and share it with someone. You won't believe how huge it is!
Cobalt was very good. We enjoyed the food and had quick service. We would have preferred the appetizer & dinner been spaced better (they came too close together). The atmosphere is ok. They probably need to make it a little more exciting. Still very worth a great dinner.
