   Our time was changed without much notice. When we arrived, we asked to be seated in one area, which had space and they denied us. We asked for 2 different tables and again were denied. There was no child menu offered to us. Why does a child who barely ate need to pay $70 for a brunch meal? No creme brulé left for dessert. Coffee cups were so small, we had to constantly ask for a refill. It was simply not worth the $70 per person for Mother's day brunch. Sinply put, it felt like we were in a diner. Will never return. My wife was very disappointed on her special day.

   We chose this spot for Mother’s Day brunch since we live nearby. The freshly baked scones, croissants, and homemade jam were a lovely start and had me excited. However, the selection of mains was quite limited, and unfortunately, the food lacked flavor. I was surprised to learn that most items were sourced from a bakery due to the limited kitchen space. For $70 per person, I was expecting a home-cooked French brunch, which this was not. While the ambiance was beautiful and nicely integrated with the hotel, the overall experience didn’t justify the nearly $200 bill for two. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

   The brunch for Mother’s Day was way over priced for what you get. I would not recommend this place for brunch.

   Lovely place discovered for Mother's Day. Awesome room with a variety of seating arrangements. The buffet was small but mighty! Everything you could want for a brunch including a wide variety of desserts. The buffet came with a choice of main course and coffee which was a great deal. The main options were all very interesting and included meat and veg options. The staff were very attentive but not too much and quite helpful. We are so happy to have tried this place for the first time...will be back.

   Our reservation was for 8. They had no tables when we arrived and we waited 20 minutes to be seated in an adjacent room with very little ambience. Steak frites was delicious but everything else was just so-so. Service was very slapdash. We were given complimentary drinks due to the holdup which was very nice but overall not the dining experience we were anticipating.

   Overpriced, poor food, slow service. Our beef tartar tasted like pickles, the mussels were 'fishy' and mushy, and my $54 scallop plate was tepic and consisted of 5 tiny scallops and 5 small dollops of mashed potatoes. Server apologized profusely for the slow kitchen (it took 1.5 hours for us to be served), we had to ask for bread, and they forgot to give us back the rest of the bottle of wine we wanted to take with us. Ambiance consists of sitting in the lobby watching guests come and go on the elevators and the front door. Overall, it was pretty brutal.

   I enjoyed a work lunch here. I wasn’t seated in a very good spot despite lots of other options I would have enjoyed more. I should have said something. The design of the space is lovely. The menu is right up my alley - French bistro (with a Canadian twist - definitely not traditional recipes) but not too heavy. I’ll be back to try more.

    The food and the service was very good. The coquille St Jacques is a a must and the chocolate dessert was fantastic. Would recommend.
