Food was amazing. It wasn’t busy so everything came out fast and hot. Service was fantastic!
Good food good service !!
Wonderful authentic Mexican flavours and great value. Dessert was to die for (cookies & cream cake). Always a favourite for our family!
Great experience, service was great, great value 🙌
Celebrated a friends 50th! Delicious and fun! Good service!
Never disappoints! We've been here a few times now and it's one of my favorite spots to eat - such great meal and drink options.
Loved it as I always do!
Cold food and cold service. Rushed us out before we were really finished. I haven’t been this disappointed in a meal in a long time. Wish I could give zero stars.
Server was so upbeat and checked on us often. Food was delicious. Will return!
The food was fantastic! The drinks tasted good, but had way too much ice, and were gone in 3 or 4 sips. Not a great value. We felt rushed to leave. They were putting chairs up on the tables next to us while we were still eating. We felt that wasn’t really fair, it was only 8:30 at that point.
Great service and Vibe. Decor was day of the dead inspired - fun. Had margaritas and the sangria which were both delicious. The food was average but acceptable, with the exception of the guacamole and chips which I did not like at all. There was definitely some thing off putting about the guacamole perhaps the radishes that they used as a garnish on the top, or some kind of additional seasoning (you don’t need to add much to guacamole to make it delicious). There was also a strange seasoning on the chips which took away from the
Authenticity of mexican cuisine.
Food, drinks and service were excellent
Our server was very attentive and helpful. The ambience was really nice, just a bit loud but that’s expected for a Friday night downtown. We had the nachos and a jug of blueberry mojito, both were fantastic. It was my friend’s first time there and she would definitely go back.
The sound level within the restaurant was very loud. But overall great experiance. Will go again.
Average, however the food was very good!!
The service wasn't the greatest. The waiter served one of our meals, and forgot to bring out food for our remaining 3 guests. One of the waiters and the bartender was not wearing a mask, which made me feel uncomfortable eating at their restaurant. I'm won't be going back there any time soon.
Food was overall not good for the price.
Bones found in one of the varroa tacos we ordered and we were still charged full price
The food was delicious as usual! We tried the nachos for the first time and they were amazing.
The music was loud and we ask twice b4 they turned it down. Asked if we could have a booth because of the loud music and they said no it was for a larger group, which no large group came in to use while we were there, and there were other large booths available if they needed. But we really did enjoy the food and drink.
Both tacos I had were mediocre...one duck, one cod. The duck taco was ice cold and the cod had an odd texture and I couldn't tear apart the fish. However, the drinks are always really good here!
Food was delicious. We would have preferred a booth. The only real compliant was the music was too loud, it was difficult to talk to our friends across the table. We ask twice to have it turned down, but we didn’t notice any difference. Didn’t stay for drinks after dinner because of the music volume
Service was terrible.
Worst experience ever
Love the food, the service was top notch as were the margaritas 😁
Great service, food and beverages!
Great service and food was very good.
Service was amazing. Food was not as great as previous visits and no chips and salsa to munch on while we waited for our order. Overall it was a nice night.
We went with some friends to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, it was busy but the service was excellent. The food was absolutely delicious!!! Can't wait to go back.
First time at Cojones. Enjoyed the food. Will be back.
I enjoyed my meal. Service good. Beautiful evening for sitting outside
It was a great experience. Food was good. Would return.
Took a long time for food to be prepared and server did not come back to check with us unless we flagged them down. Should have taken note that our young daughter was with us and that the dish she order was spicy or recommend they use less spice for her.
The sour gummy margarita is an excellent addition to the already delicious drink menu. Would also recommend the Nachos, poquitos and shrimp quesadilla!
Fun vibe, great food, excellent staff ☺️
Even though we gave ample notice that members of our group had Celiac disease and would need gluten free options (as are indicated on their standard menu), some options were not available such as gluten free nacho chips. Parts of our order came out cold and, when replacement options came to the table, the dishes were again cold. It was a very disappointing experience. We will not be going back.
Excellent food amd service
Was awesome! Sitting outside was excellent, drinks were fantastic and lots of great options. Food was also delicious.
Disappointed that this meal and experience was not up to the standard set by my previous visits. Hopefully, this is a one-off as I have had excellent experiences there previously and like to recommend it to friends. Food wise: The chips were stale, the queso was cold as well as the rice and beans on the sides of the 3 entrees that were ordered. Additionally, the server messed up one of the meals due to not being able to hear above the loud noise from the bar. Coupled with that, we rarely saw our server. Therefore, the only time that the error could be discussed was when the bills arrived. When it was raised, she did not offer to remove the upcharge that resulted from this error. Overall, it was an unexpected and mediocre dining experience.
