   My girlfriend and I chose Colette for date night and it couldn’t have been a better choice. There was a great Saturday night energy from the moment we walked in. Everyone we interacted with was wonderful and our server, Andrea, was lovely. The food was truly top notch (I got the Half Chicken) and the Nutella Chocolate Mousse blew our minds. Finally, we had the pleasure of chatting with the bartender before we left who was knowledgeable and charming. We will absolutely be returning as soon as possible!

   This place was horrible. We called that we were going to be late for our reservation and then they said but still come and they will try to sit us. We get there and it’s raining so they sat us inside and the hostess was fine with it! 10 minutes into sitting down a different worker came up to us said their grace period is 15 mins late (We were 2 minutes pass) and that we have to leave within less than an hour for the next party. which literally there were 12 empty tables right next to us. Unfortunately we had already ordered 4 bellinis (which were not bellinis.. they were gross) So we drank those paid our $60 bill and left. will never come to this place again again. It’s absolutely rude to start off a brunch at an expensive restaurant with you have this amount of time before the next party comes in. It sets the wrong tone for everyone.

   When choosing a restaurant to go to for a relaxed and special occasion with friends, I consider ambiance the most important factor, and because of this, Colette is always my first choice.

    My first visit to Colette's was in the summer and we sat outside. All was lovely. This time we sat inside in the early evening. The place gradually filled up and the noise level increased to the point that it was almost painful to have a conversation. The food was fine, but the service was slow, and the noise level really spoiled the whole evening. Perhaps it's less noisy at lunch, but I'd be wary of recommending Colette's to a friend or to visit again.

    We have dined here multiple times. Really want to continue to love this place but I feel like the staff now is just not as good as before. Maybe the staff is mostly new nowadays, or they need better trainings, but we have to ask for water, house bread, spoons for our soup, bowl for our shellfish, etc. The whole experience is just not the same anymore.

    We had a reservation but had to wait 40 minutes for the table. The bartender was not responsive while we sat and waited. After we were sat, we had to wait 20 minutes for the server to come over. He took our drink order and promptly asked what we wanted to eat making us feel rushed. Despite the poor service, the food and atmosphere were great. Probably would go back for a drink and snack to sit at the bar but not for dinner.

    Server was fabulous--didn't catch his name, only that he is from Trinidad and Tobago. Very busy Saturday night, but he treated us like royalty...we're rather light eaters so we split a single entre--the striped bass--that he had recommended as a substitute for the duck, which had run out. It was excellent, elegantly served on two plates shared between the two of us. We also shared the ratatouille, an old standby that here is substantially elevated from the usual, mushy mess. Wine by the glass selection could be a bit improved upon--given that this is a French style "wine" bistro, one might hope for a white burgundy or two, for example. Still, the wine was solid and the pours were generous. I've been to Collette several times over the years, and stopped going a few years back as it seemed to have slipped. But I believe it has since hit its stride. Highly recommend!

    I enjoyed the food and ambiance at Colette. I did make a reservation at 2:15 pm and the kitchen is closed from 2:30-4:30 pm so everything was very rushed. I wish I was noticed about this ahead of time. I would not recommend making a reservation at this time if possible!

    Had a graduation dinner reserved for 8:15 and waited about 20 minutes to be seated, about another 20 minutes to order, then received our food at 9:45. Absurdly late to be eating steak for dinner, and even while ravenously hungry, it didn’t feel worth the price or the wait. Of course, it’s not always the waitstaff’s fault and restaurants do overbook. They offered two plates of fries as compensation for the wait, but we declined as it was 10PM and we had ordered more than enough food already. The place was bustling with energy when we arrived but had died out by the time we received our meals.

    Came here for a graduation celebration dinner. Was seated in between two large fake plants that continuously bothered our guests. Service took ages. Food was above average but not worth the wait. We were only given 2 menus for a table of 8 people. Our table was VERY dark as we had no lighting above us and no candles on the table. It was hard to read, hard to hear, took forever, and generally wasn’t a great experience.

    The ambience was great, we sat at the bar. The server wasn’t the best he kind of had an attitude and also charged us extra for his tips when we gave cash. The mussels had really good flavor and the cocktails were just ok. Would go back to seat at the bar.

    Has great potential, but just very average. Warm red wine, lackluster seasoning on main dishes (quite bland), steak was chewy and served with frisée lacking even a dash of lemon or dressing. Too mediocre for the price point.

    Made a reservation for brunch without knowing much about the restaurant but I am so glad I did!! Loved the ambience. Its very chic and has lot of light. The service was top notch. We were seated immediately upon arrival, the host took my jacket, and our server was attentive. And then the FOOD! Absolutely delicious. Cooked to perfection, well seasoned and decently priced for a brunch spot in Boston. Will definitely be back!

    My friend is French and has an affinity for buckwheat crepes, and highly recommended this place, so we met up for brunch. Our reservation was for 11am when they opened and service was very slow, as if the kitchen got backed up immediately. Sometimes we'd flag a server down to ask for something, then some time later our assigned server would come by to verify, meaning that it hadn't been entered that whole time. Is 1.5 hrs typical for brunch? Maybe it's the speed of brunch in France. On the positive side, the setting was cute with pink upholstered booths and floral wallpaper. The prices were ok - it definitely felt like I got a good value from the $4 extra to add duck to my crepe. Food itself was fine but didn't remind me of the buckwheat crepes I had in Brittany at Le Talisman and I should've gone with eggs benedict.

    The food was not prepared to specifications. Steak was rare instead of medium. Had to be sent back. One order had the wrong side.
