    We have been to The Co. when visiting a few times in the past and recommended it to friends that met us there. When we arrived the guy at the front desk was lounging on a couch and did not even get up to greet us. I told him we had a reservation and he finally got up (as if we were bothering him). He did not say hello, welcome or anything at all. He walked us to the bookcase and pointed us to a table. When o came out later to use the restroom )which was a mess too) I asked if I was supposed to wait for him and he said "just pull the left side" as he again continued to sit in the couch with his legs up looking at his phone. The wait staff inside then proceeded to tell us that they had no food and wouldn't for about an hour. When the hour was up we noticed others beginning to get food so we went up to the bar for a second time (the other to order a drink for our friends) and asked if we could get food also. This is one of very favorite places in Chattanooga and I was so disappointed and honestly embarrassed since we invited our friends not only to have drinks but to also stay at the Kinley and our first impression of the night was this!

    The drinks are amazing!! Espresso martini was my favorite, but the rest of the table was raving about the old fashioned. Had the Brussel sprouts and truffle fries and both were superb! Can’t wait to go back.

    My husband and I planned on celebrating our first wedding anniversary here. We made reservations the day before and were seated at the immediately. We each ordered a drink and ordered some hummus for a quick bite. While waiting we were forced to listen to the servers as they stood in front of us and complained the majority of our time there. They were down one staff member, but there were maybe only 20-25 people seated at this time. One server in particular complained the most and made it very apparent that she was unhappy, it was reminiscent of a pouty teenager with a bad attitude. This continues for roughly 40 minutes. We decided to pay for our check and leave after the whole vibe was ruined by the employees, not to mention by this point we had been there almost an hour and were still waiting on our appetizer. Hummus, which one would assume they just plate it and serve with little to no cooking involved - one reason we chose this. There were a couple tables that had arrived after us who had drinks, ate, and left all before we finished our second drinks still waiting on food. I have worked in many fine-dining establishments and this experience would not have been acceptable at any of those places. We ended up having Wendy’s for our anniversary.

    We had a reservation for 9:45. Was after 10 before seated. We had to wait quite awhile before a waitress came to check on us and get a drink order. Drinks took a long time to be made. Beautiful area. Just bad service.

    The company was a unique place inside of a hotel. It is always fun to enter through a secret door. The drinks are well crafted and the food selection well portioned and satisfying.

    We decided to try the company based on the great reviews. We were very happy we made this choice. It was like we escaped the outside world and landed back in time where the drinks were creatively perfect and the service was personable and attentive. Make no mistake. This place also serves up delicious food served hot with picture like presentation. I had the pasta carbanaro with grilled chicken and my wife had the cheese burger with truffle fries. We can't say enough about our experience and we will definitely be back.

    Company Chattanooga is relatively new but didn't disappoint. The speakeasy theme is well executed while not being over the top. Being a "speakeasy" the cocktails are tremendous with a fair amount of rare top shelf liquors. The food was the really pleasant surprise. The small but adequate menu has enough items to ensure that everyone could find something to agree with their palate. We started with the truffle fries which arrived hot and were delicious. We had the bistro steak and the pasta carbonara both of which were both outstanding. Well worth the effort to locate the special entrance.

    Food and drinks were outstanding. Three suggestions for ambience if you want to be known for the speakeasy experience: 1) Enforce the dress code. We came dressed up while others were there in shorts and t-shirts. 2) Some louder and appropriate background music (big band, jazz, crooners and torch singers. 3) While not convenient, try to keep the curtain to the kitchen drawn shut. Those three small tweaks will raise the experience and buzz about the place.

    Super fun space, they killed the speakeasy vibe without making it too kitschy or trying too hard. We waited several minutes to be allowed into the bar, and then waited ten minutes for anyone to come over and say hello. We also were told to seat ourself, but at a specific table, even we made a reservation. Once our server came over, he was super nice and we got our drinks relatively quickly. Odd that one drink came almost five minutes before the next, but no big deal. My specialty cocktail was made perfectly and it is always fun to see Malory on any menu. I would try this place again but only if I am not in a hurry or thirsty!

    Wonderful dinner by the Chef and Makers Mark! The menu was exquisite from the appetizer to dessert! Ambiance is top notch at this hidden gem in Chattanooga. The bar is very bougie… looks like it’s from times in the past. Friendly servers who kept your water glass full and delicious cocktails coming. Watching the hustling bartenders was just mesmerizing… they’re professional and we loved the cocktails they created. This was a great experience all around. 5*****

    I took my wife here for our anniversary and what a wonderful surprise! We were provided with complimentary glasses of champagne upon being seated. The bartender/waiter couldn’t have been more friendly and attentive. We had the hamburger, truffle fries, deviled eggs and Brussel sprouts…man! The food was amazing, the service was amazing and the setting knocked it out of the park. I would highly recommend and will definitely be going back.

    Anyone reading this and considering Company, take a hard pass. I made reservations online and added that it was my wife’s birthday. We are very laid back, typically if I leave a review I do it because a place impressed me/us and we love to shower praise on good things. This was the opposite. From the moment we walked into the hotel all the way through drinks/appetizer we NEVER felt welcomed. The drinks were marginal at best and if you are looking for better drinks walk across the street to STIR. The appetizer had soggy greens on it and was incredibly salty. Our waitress was barely at our table and when we asked to move to a booth she never came back to let us know if we could. The table we sat at was the tiniest high top ever, I’m 6’4 and the little seat was incredibly uncomfortable. *** Now, I want to be fair - the vibe is cool. The decor looks great . *** but I will NEVER go there again and I would highly recommend against anyone spending $50/$60 on two cocktails and a bad appetizer at Company. Really hate to knock a place but this was just all in all not a good date night experience.

    We had high hopes for this place but it was severely disappointing. It started off that they skipped our reservation and put us at a high top table near the back eventually. It was very unorganized. The drinks were weak and just taste like a bunch of sugar. The service was ok. The food was terrible. The apps we had weren’t very hot when they arrived to the table (after they messed up the order the 1st time), the “special” shrimp po boy was the worst one I’ve ever had. The shrimp had no flavor and were small, it was mainly bread with a few shrimp and way too much remoulade sauce with some tomato and lettuce. Then to top off the evening, they ran us out of there because they had another reservation that would take up our high top section. We weren’t even finished with the meal and they asked us twice to wrap up and leave (in other words). Here’s the kicker too, we were guests in the hotel. Don’t waste your money, time or taste buds on this place.
