Our favorite restaurant. Love the host/hostess team, bartenders, waiters - the people they hire make a difference. And the food is amazing. And not too expensive.
Another great evening of food and drink at Cooks & Soldiers! On top of that, our waiter, Ryan, was terrific! We'll be back!
Wow...this was a really great place. It was our youngest daughter's 21st birthday and she chose this place. She wanted something that was different and offered small plates. Cooks and Soldiers fit the bill. We ordered so many different dishes and one was better than the next. We had each seafood dish and none disappointed. The food was creative and very delicious. Our waitress, Gabrielle was super knowledgeable and every dish she recommended was exceptional. She was really great...attentive but not obnoxious. Plus, she brought us a celebratory glass of champagne, which was a special touch. We will be back!!!
Wonderful service and a creative menu helped make our experience first rate! One of our members even tried a craft cocktail at the waitress' recommendation, and it was spot on! I can't say enough great things about our evening.
Food was good but the Octopus was very disappointing.. Over cooked and charred almost black.
Doesn’t compare to the real San Sebastián but for being stateside it’s not bad. The cocktails were good. But I would love to see them make the large bowl glass gin and tonics with authentic bits, preserved cucumbers, peppercorns... the Pinxtos were good but the whole fish of the day was excellent. Whole Red snapper with spices in the wood fire oven.
Great, the family enjoyed our Mothers day dinner. We all were able to share and try new foods.
Excellent food and service. I'm going to be a regular.
To be honest, the choices were a bit too advanced for my simple palate. I should have reviewed the menu in advance of my visit. A true foodie would love this place. The decor was great. The service is good. My cocktail was nicely done. They have a distinctive identity and I respect what they are doing. The place came highly recommended and I understand why. It just wasn't my ideal cup of tea.
Mother’s Day. I was expecting more traditional by the open table ad Very expensive to leave hungry
My favorite go to spot for a special occasion. The food and service is always wonderful and atmosphere fun. We always enjoy ourselves. The wine list is diverse, and everything is always great and a good value.
Exceptional in every way. Doug was a fantastic server and managed our educational needs as First timers. The multitude of delicious small plates were perfect for sharing. All were prepared properly and generated a buzz of discussion. Don’t be shy; order plenty of these delicious small plates and finish off the meal with a Bikini Grilled Cheese instead of a dessert! You will love this place.
Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Can't wait to go back.
This is my most favorite restaurants in Atlanta, we went for Mother’s Day and it did not disappoint as usual.
Despite an early reservation and many available two tops, we were inexplicably placed in the middle of the restaurant, at a four top with only two chairs, directly in front of the service station. When I inquired, our server offered to put my purse in the coat room(?). My fork was also stuck to the table. As the restaurant got busier we were continually jostled, interrupted, brushed against etc. Food was OK, but dismissive, uncaring service means we will not return. Too many options with better service and great food.
My wife and I went for our 10th wedding anniversary. The food was outstanding. The mixed drinks were great as well. I made the mistake of ordering the combine meat and cheese plate which filled us up so that we couldn't try as many of the main dishes as we would have liked.
The service was somewhat slower than we would have liked. But overall, this place is a must try.
Cooks & Soldiers has a great selection of wines, and the food was amazing! Mary, our server, did an outstanding job of spoiling us!!!
Phenomenal. Everything we got was incredible and wholly unique. Favorites were the rabbit, duck, and lomo de cerdo.
Excellent as usual. Hard to find a better spot than Cook & Soldiers..
My husband and I had a terrific experience at Cooks and Soldiers. We went to celebrate my husband's birthday. Menu offered so many wonderful choices. We ordered 2 apps, 3 small plates, and the bone-in prime rib. Maria was our server and she was fantastic! She was very attentive and offered great suggestions. The spiced pork belly and the foie gras toast were my favorites! We will be back!!
Great service. Even better food.
First time at Cooks and Soldiers and I will be back. This place was amazing! The food was excellent. I loved all the tapas but my favorites of the ones we ordered was the Caña Klasikoa and Pan Con Tomate. The desserts were incredible as well. I highly recommend the Kuri Squash Tart; by far one of the best desserts I've ever had.
The service was as outstanding as the food. Our server Ryan was gracious and helpful without being overbearing. And when I asked what their non-alcoholic beverages were, he offered to have the bartender make me up a mocktail based on what I like. I was impressed. I expected just to hear about their sodas and iced tea. This was better. Ryan was also great about bringing over the sommelier to help my parents choose a wine.
Lastly, we were out to dinner to celebrate my mom's birthday, which I had noted on the reservation. From the moment we walked in and checked in with the host/hostess, they wished my mom a happy birthday and then when she ordered her dessert made sure to have a candle in it. It was a perfect evening.
Picked this location to celebrate my boyfriend's college graduation. We were immediately seated and offered the menu. The food was really exquisite and came very quickly. Everything went really well. n
we always enjoy Cooks and Soldiers!
Always a great meal & great service at the Castellucci restaurants. Just go & enjoy!
Seeing the menu online caused us to go there for my wife's birthday. The food was wonderful. Just enough to provide a good taste of the menu option, and not too filling which allowed us to try more different items.
Unique menu, delicious pinxtos with wonderful options. Loved the smoked duck confit, jamon, and charred eggplant and octopus, would come back for the kuri squash tart dessert anytime. Definitely a highlight of our mini-vacation in Atlanta. Helpful, friendly service too.
Service was impeccable. Food was good though not amazing.
Food delicious and different. Tapas-like dishes meant to be shared. Nice ambiance and attentive service.
Had friends in from Up North and wanted to show them something different. Cooks and Soldiers was a huge success, and one of our guests stated it was one of the single best meals she had ever eaten.
The variety and quality of the food are top level, and the SERVICE IS FANTASTIC. AJ took care of us and, besides her clear knowledge of the menu, her recommendations were spot on. She brought us a wide variety of foods and the kitchen presented them in a crescendo of flavors. We really enjoyed her service and I see why she gets the Saturday shift.
While I do not drink, my guests all enjoyed the craft cocktails and I adored the Tonic of the Week from their G&T program.
All around we had a blast and the evening was a total success.
Great Food. Service was good. Lots of fun!
We have eaten here twice before and had excellent service. This time around the server had no suggestions/ recommendations/personality so we were on our own. When it came to dessert, we ordered of 3 - again no suggestions. When the runner dropped off the desserts, he told us we “should have ordered the cheesecake because that’s the best dessert on the menu”. That was nice to know after the fact...
Food was good as always.
The menu is not intuitive, so it is helpful if the servers have a point of view or at least able to explain/ direct.
We will try C&S again.
Great meal! Was blown away how wonderful the food and service was. Laura was amazing! Will definitely go back
Great choices of food and great service. Try sitting with Connor at the bar. Great knowledge of drinks and wine too.
Good location, food but too noise. It’s not a relaxing place at all.
The four of us shared several dishes and enjoyed each of them. We sat on the patio which was very pleasant and fun. The service was very good. Overall, it was a fun experience with very good food.
We had a great night at Cooks and Soldiers. The menu really has something for everyone- we started with 4 small plates - the veal cheek (wonderful) the yellow fin tuna (yumm) the albondigas meatballs ( very tasty) and my personal favorite- the octopus. We then split the grilled rib eye and some mushrooms - everyone was very happy. Nice wine list and great cocktails. Service was a little scattered but it was busy. A good night.
It was our first visit to Cooks & Soldiers and we were very impressed. The food was excellent and we enjoyed the diverse textures and flavors. A very unique dining experience. Our waiter was also very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and wine selection.
Excellent food and service!
