Once again Cooper Hawk didn't disappoint especially on a special occasion. Excellent.
First time eating there, the restaurant was beautiful lots of wine options. When the server approached us he was very polite he asked if we are first timers, we had told him yes. He didn’t bother telling us things about the restaurant like there’s a shop we were tasting serval wines and then he took the wine list when we ordered our food. Overall it was great.

Fantastic service. Better steak, lobster, lobster bisque, and French onion soup than what we had at Ruth's Chris steak house one week earlier. Strongly recommending to all my friends. We have found a new best place to dine.

Celebrating
I have now tried this place 3 times. I really wanted to like it. Too much (everything). The menu is too long (If they would do a limited number of things really well and it would be better). The servers are inconsistent (mostly good, but recent visit - not so much). It is noisy. Food is just OK. I can see where happy hour crowd would like it, but for a nice meal, there are a lot better options elsewhere.
Great overall experience. Food was good. Wine was great. We’ll be back.
Customer service was excellent and the food has big portions
The food was excellent as usual. Love the two appetizers we had - chicken pot stickers and crab beignets. I also tried the vegetable burger which is something I usually never have and was so glad I did. It was delicious as was the quinoa side dish.
I don’t normally write a review, I just submit the stars. But our server Wes deserves a special shout-out. One of my friends I was dining with is a quadriplegic, and also has difficulty speaking. I’ve dined out with her before, and though I’m sure the servers were well-meaning, they defer to her husband and largely ignore her. Wes was such a gentleman, AND a top-notch server. He gave every menu to her, directed his speech about specials to her as well as the other guests, and set all her food in front of her. She was splitting her dinner with her husband—most servers would’ve given the dinner to her husband knowing he would have to feed my friend. Not Wes. He had the kitchen split the food to two plates and set hers in front of her. I’m accustomed to outstanding service at Cooper’s Hawk, but this goes above and beyond. Thank you Wes, for treating my friend with respect and kindness, as another human being.

We met up with friends for dinner. Food and waitstaff were excellent!
We were seated in a timely manner according to our reservation. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive. The food and wine were delicious! My new favorite restaurant!!

Everything was great except my girlfriend ordered a medium rare steak that came out medium well to well done. Zachary was a great waitor

We loved that you can try all of the wines ahead of time! We did the wine flights and bacon and cheese board for an appetizer, which was lovely. We were both very happy with our entrees as well. Friendly and attentive service. Would definitely go back.
Had lunch with a business colleague and were seated promptly. Cooper's Hawk has a wide selection of food choices, a great wine selection, and several beers on tap. The server was attentive and we didn't wait long for our food. This is my second visit and I've enjoyed both. I recommend it to my friends and will definitely be returning.
Aside from lousy parking options, this was a great meal! From the lobster and crab soup to the double cut bourbon glazed pork chop, we had an amazing meal. Oh, and the wine? The Cooper's Hawk Red Blend? Paired perfectly with the pork chop. Thank you to Robin who took fantastic care of us!
Nice booth to catch up with friends. Something for all, while some love wine some are beer fans. Worked for everyone.
First time at Coopers Hawk and it was great....food selection was terrific and also very good....service was terrific and really enjoyed the wine tasting....lots of fun!!!!
We sat in the bar and had a very good experience, our server Allen was wonderful and the food was great.
Worst service we ever received at a Cooper’s Hawk. We’re wine club members and dine here often. Fist time trying the Reston location and so disappointed. Waited over an hour for our food. The waitress blamed the kitchen... don’t point the finger... DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! The manager tried to make it right by offering free dessert, but most of what we selected they said wasn’t available... oh, and that took 20 minutes. Never again in Reston. I’ll stick to Ashburn.

My first time here and brand new wine club member came to celebrate my birthday - experience was so bad I am canceling wine club and doubtful I will return. Service was slow, order came out wrong and we had a child with us: After 2 hours we had to leave as patience was dwindling and bedtime was nearing. I had to have another member of my party pick up the bill on my behalf. And as I was putting on my coat they brought me a chocolate covered strawberry for my birthday (which I then didn’t even get to enjoy)
I am so bummed because this place had come highly recommended.

Our waiter was very friendly and helpful, food and wine were both outstanding. I've never ordered something from this restaurant that I didn't like.

Great ambiance and good food. You have to try the pork belly tostadas they are to die for. To me that is the best thing on the menu.
Server was friendly, but we had a few issues getting her attention. It was busy, so that’s understandable. The food was well seasoned, but the temperatures were off. The pork belly tostadas were room temperature. My medium rare NY strip steak was medium and tiny. The filet my wife ordered medium was medium rare.
