The Trenton waterfront received a major update with the addition of Cooper's Riverview! The atmosphere is fun and festive while providing a superb dining experience. Highlights are an amazing happy hour, entertainment, and brand new menu and an eager staff that will make your visit memorable. The massive complex features four main areas: a large entertainment hall for private events, weddings, concerts, shows and nightlife; a cozy dining area and bar; a great indoor/outdoor bar and cocktail area; and a large deck on the water with private areas and a stage for national performances. The cuisine is all of your gastro pub favorites including handmade burgers, seafood, steaks and health conscious salads. We’re bringing the fun back to the waterfront!

We absolutely love coming to Coopers!! Perfect every time I come!
The Buffalo wings were good, however, my crabcake sandwich was nearly impossible to eat as a sandwich. The crabcake was poorly formed and wouldn't stay on the roll. It tasted ok. My husband and son enjoyed their Chicken Sandwich and Burger. Was a little pricey for what you get.
The food is good, great value for the money. The tiger shrimp bucket is delicious
A diverse but somewhat limited menu, at least for lunch, and well prepared food. The views of the Delaware River are themselves worth the price of admission!
We went to see a local cover band, Spare Parts. Moderate crowd, some people danced. The house sound guy thought louder was better.....too loud. Great band though. The food was good, but the service was spotty. Great venue...just needs a few tweaks
Had a great time —- the food was yummy and interesting. Drinks were good. Band was wonderful..
Everything good, food delicious, nice music , excellent service
The band was terrific and the service from waitress was outstanding. The food was delicious and priced well.
Food is great. Great waterfront restaurant. Great views
Was there for a birthday celebration. Basic bar food type atmosphere.
You can’t beat the prices during their happy hour! Disappointing that the brussels sprouts were unavailable but other than that it was absolutely fantastic and the food was wonderful! Great music too!
I was there before the dinner rush (4:45) got seated outside per my reservation request. Ordered two drinks which were fair and then the $24 crab cake entree with side of house made chips(were cold so obviously not fresh) was supposed to come with corn which I realized after I left I never received. My friend substituted her chips for a salad and the salad wasn't brought out for about ten mins after which she was also given the non fresh house made chips! Huge disappointment
Good Food and Drinks. the waiter was a bit slow and not really paying attention to us or any other table and our needs. overall, it was a nice evening.
Views were great, nice entertainment from piano man to live band. Menu was small, but food was hot and tasty. Good place hang out.
met a friend with our of age daughters for dinner and drinks. had several appetizers. all were v.good. this was my 4th visit this summer. love the outside water view sound system a bit loud for conversation. tried to sit away from stage. made it half way... live music was a bit intrusive. limited menu but haven't had anything I wouldn't order again. drinks a little pricey approx 12 for martinis. 6 for draft beer
Stopped by after work for a glass of wine with a friend. Decided to have an early dinner. I had a Cooper’s burger which was very good. My friend had the shrimp appetizer and a salad, both of which she said were very good. Will definitely go back.
Wayyyy too much salt in the food. Nothing about the food was impressive. Crab soup was too salty to eat
I would go for drinks but not dinner. We went before a show at the local arena with kids and food took long and was subpar. Drinks and the vibe were great. Also had awesome service. I would just think twice about going with kids
We booked our reservation on Opentable and requested outdoor seating. This was confirmed by Opentable. When we arrived we were told outdoor seating is only available for those who purchased tickets to see the cover band playing that evening. Reservations for outdoor seating should be blocked by Outdoor Table when they hold events
Cooper's Riverview needs to decide if they are a restaurant or a low level club destined to fail as all the other clubs that were previously in their building. My wife and I drove 40 minutes so we could eat outside on the Delaware river. Walking into the "restaurant" we were met (not greeted, just stared at) by a host and 3 large "bouncers". We were told our reservations for their deck couldn't be honored (by one of the "bouncers" not the host) since there was going to be a band playing later that night. We were seated in their enclosed sun room. Our drinks were served in clear plastic solo cups, beer is served in cans only (have to request a cup if you want one). We are not sure how wine is served as they were out of white zinfandel which is what my wife likes. I ordered their shrimp bucket and when it was placed on the table, I literally didn't know if it was my meal or the bathroom garbage can!! It was served in a clear plastic bag inside a plastic bud light beer bucket! I asked if there were utensils to get the food out of the bag and I was told to use my hands or my dinner fork. My wife ordered the shrimp and linguine in lobster cream sauce. The sauce ended up being a dark spicy sauce, not what was expected by the description. My wife ate a few bites of her food and didn't like it so we ask waiter for our check. The manager (we assume he was the manager as he never introduced himself) came over and asked "what was wrong with your food?". We explained our disappointment, he seemed to take a bit of an attitude, basically had an excuse for everything from the "closed" deck to the food. When he returned to our table, he placed our check on the table, never apologized and walked away. He did comp our meals so we only paid for my soup (which was decent BTW) and our drinks. Our experience at Cooper's Riverview was a disappointment from beginning to end!!.
I love to go watch the Live Music! Food is good but not great but I always have fun every time
Food was good. Problem was the kitchen, sending things out wrong or forgetting items, felt bad for our waiter who was frustrated. Not his fault as he put the order in correctly. I'm going to chalk it up to staffing issues as a lot of places just can't get the help. I will go back
Nice view of the river. Food was stale, previously frozen and cost much more than it was worth. Good server.
We were at a table up close to the front of the stage and we never had a server come to take our order the whole time we were there…3 1/2 hours we had to go to the bar and get our own drinks and then finally after waiting asked the bar tender to put a food order in for us. There should have been a couple more servers on the floor to make sure everyone sitting at a table were greeted and waited on
Daughter and the band with my daughter. We love Coopers
Food was horrible. Ordered filet mignon and it tasted like a wet rag. No flavor. Asked for medium well but the middle was raw. Not even rare - RAW. Wife ordered crab cakes that tasted like they put a pound of onion powder in it and hard french fries that looked like they were re-fried 3 or 4 times. Waste of money. Will NEVER come back.
I got violently ill after eating there. And all I had was the salmon.
Would not recommend at all
AMAZING band (Pez Head), good food, great drinks (they had High Noon seltzers which is my fav), and awesome vibe. I think they’re short staffed but the server hustled so if you do cut cut them some slack.
The food was terrible. Place looked runned down.
Always a good time at Coopers. Good bands and a nice crowd of people. Well staffed with friendly staff. The negative feedback: Very stingy pours on a glass of wine. $9-13 a glass and maybe yield a few sips per glass, so an obvious money grab from Cooper's bar management! Appi's are pricey. But, that's to be expected and no cover charge for the music, so won't ding Cooper's too much on this. Overall, we do come back time and again because we enjoy ourselves and it is well run. But come on Coopers, be a bit more generous on the wine pour!
Service was excellent... sat by the window with a view of the river which was a plus. Food... so so. Not terrible but not rave worthy. Would probably go back for cocktails outdoors.
Beautiful spot on the river with so many options for seating inside or out. Multiple bars and your choice of a quiet corner or lively music. The staff was lovely and very attentive. Nick the manager was especially helpful and went out of his way to make sure our entire experience was perfect!
Waitress was great!!!!! Out food could of been a lot better for what we paid. French toast was way over cooked.. not sure how you even do that because I’m a chef myself and I have never had overcook French toast. My daughter had a steak and it was supposed to be medium rare and it was basically well done and hard to chew… paid 21 dollars for that and it should have been cooked perfectly. My husbands eggs were supposed to be over easy and they were cooked over hard….. it would have taken just a couple of minutes to redo the eggs ….. food is over priced I think you pay for being on the river so that’s why people are willing to pay…. Most places offer free refills on fountain drinks and you do not ….. I run a restaurant so I also know that it’s good business and fountain drinks are cheap….
It was very nice
Enjoyed sitting outside listening to the band. Had great weather. Friendly staff. Good food. Will be back.
Got a salad that was soooo small. The old bay fries were good but again very small portion for two people. The staff were nice but very slow. Not sure if they were pulled in other directions but really didn’t see much of them. Food and drinks took a while to arrive. The place is nice but needs more staff. Also we were given a pencil to fill out the check. I’d rather have a pen. Thought the pencil was odd.
Great view great food went for brunch for Father's Day
Great service beautiful views and really good food
