   Really great service, amazing cocktails, the cocktails came very quick. We ordered food but it took like 45 minutes and they didn’t even get the wings right, we didn’t end up eating them. I’d come back for the drinks but would definitely eat else where

   The description on OpenTable is misleading. This is a bar and they don’t serve any food. The waitress (who was very pleasant) was embarrassed that OpenTable is misleading its Customers.

   The menu online is outdated, there are only 4 appetizers to choose from in the restaurant. Service was extremely slow.

   Quite possibly the best location to have a drink and enjoy views of Ottawa! Seriously it’s a really cool view of the city and the drinks are great. BE AWARE that there isn’t really any good dinner options. A VERY small handful of apps when we went. We had a few drinks and then left to get food somewhere else lol. The actual restaurant is on the ground level of the Andaz hotel. Nevertheless it’s absolutely worth a visit and we will for sure be back for more drinks, just not on an empty stomach next time lol. Enjoy!

   I honestly feel upset as we thought the menu from the website was for spirits and sights but the waitress said no it is for the restaurant below… why can’t they bring it up.. such a waste of a beautiful view and atmosphere to have no food options other than 4 things that do not mix well with alcohol.

   Valentine’s day date - charcuterie board, meat tartar and a beautiful view. Remains my favourite fancy spot for a date.

   Spectacular views! Food options are very limited especially when you are enjoying an alcoholic beverage and want to have some food with your drink. The drinks are expensive. This venue could be so much more if they worked on these aspects. Not sure how often or if I'll be back.

    Great spot but management really needs to do something about the phones NEVER being answered at any time in the bar or restaurant. Server said they don't even have a phone which is very odd. I tried calling this place numerous times over two days with no success.

    I was extremely disappointed with my reservation. The lighting was very bright. The service was exceptionally slow. It took a very long time to get a server to our table, a moderate time to receive our drinks and food and then we didn’t see our server again. We were never offered anything else and too long to get our bill. We were a group of seven and everyone felt the same. I had hoped for a much better celebratory evening for my daughter’s birthday

    Menu was not up to date on Open table. There was no Sea Food tower on the menu once we got there Bring your own clamato if you want a bloody ceasar, the two times I went there they were out. The view is beautiful. More a place to go for a drink than eat though

    I was celebrating my birthday and decided to go to that place with my wife hoping to have some nice time together. I was IMPRESSED by all the service staff. Specially, The lady who served us was a pro. There is a nice fireplace outside with a 5 star view of downtown sided south. I recommend that place.

    Very disappointed with the service. Planned this outing to celebrate an anniversary with my wife and was beyond disappointed. Very upsetting considering the cost and effort.

    Hadn't been to Copper in 3 years, so it was great to return on a warm, sunny evening. Drinks and service were great, and view of the sunset over the Ottawa/Gatineau skyline was spectacular

    Four of us went for drinks and snacks for the view. Our server was attentive and made great recommendations for cocktails. All of the staff were kind and interested in making our experience wonderful. We will definitely be back.

    Honestly, you're there for the view. That's about it. The cocktails - which used to be a big drawing point - have fallen off in quality, and now range from very ordinary to quite bad in some cases. For $19-21 each you have reasonable grounds to demand more. It's just another mediocre hotel bar pretending to be a craft cocktail hub. You can do much better in the city. Our server was pleasant, and attentive, so thanks to her.

    The seats are very uncomfortable. We can’t even put our legs under de table because there’s no room for them. We felt like we were eating on our living room table. Amazing view but tiny restaurant.

    We went and sat and we first got the menu after 10 min , after we ordered we got the 2 cups lf wine after 20 min , and nobody came ro chexk on us again

    I've been here 5 times over the past few years and each time I am blown away by how amazing it is. This isn't just a restaurant it's a whole experience that is luxurious and tantalizing all throughout, from the music to the service, drinks to food, this place is by far top tier.

    Beautiful view, amazing night. Reserved seats outside and it was nice to sit side by side drinking prosecco while the sun set. Service was friendly and she returned at exactly the right times. Delightful

    Server was friendly, helpful and attentive. Food wasn’t great, had to peel large shrimp by hand, oysters hadn’t been cut from the shell, beef tartare seemed to have a vegetable in it. Cocktails were very nice.

    Beautiful venue. Despite stating on their web site that there is a DJ on weekends, there are none. When we asked they told us they did not have one. Service was extremely slow and they got our drink order wrong twice. Prices are really expensive for what you get.

    Very limited seating on the terrace. Impossible to take a drink outside if you have a table inside. Prices are high for the quality of the food, but the view is great. Service is ok.

    The best (and probably the only!) fancy dining experience in Ottawa. Amazing ambience with a view from the terrace - definitely recommended for a sunset! Great cocktails. Nice seafood. And dressing up looks totally relevant here.

    The view is beautiful, but that's about it. The seafood tower for $200 was NOT worth it; it came with mussels in a can and barely enough food for 4. The service was just okay, the lights were SUPER bright at 900pm... it just wasn't worth the cost. Might be a nice place for a cocktail and a picture, if you want to spend $17-$20/drink.

    It had a beautiful view, and the drinks were fantastic. I was surprised how low and uncomfortable the tables and chairs/booths were. I’m 6 foot 1 and it was torture having no leg room under the table, hunched over. Also despite the place being empty, we were seated beside a couple of strangers. It’s almost like we were touching and you feel uncomfortable talking. Then they constantly started trying to talk to us/interrupting our conversation. This was supposed to be a birthday cocktail evening for just myself and my partner. And we couldn’t really enjoy it
