   Get there during Happy Hour, drinks are good and only slightly higher than other locations. Service is great, people are nice and attentive without going overboard. Around 4pm is right before the rush so everything is relaxed.

   Customer service wasn't amazing. We were told that the patio was closed because there wasn't enough staffing only to see people filing in. Then when we asked to have a private booth, they said there was a maximum of 6, when 8 of us could have easily fit. So my dad's 70th birthday dinner was in the middle of the bar area.

   Another great meal in a spectacular venue. My dinner guests brought their 130 pound Mastiff and the staff could not have been more cool. The dog got a bowl of water before we got our cocktails! Food, beer and wine were very good.

   We like the variety of craft beers and unique cocktails. The menu has changed since our last visit. We enjoyed the new chips & cheese appetizer. I finally tried the pizza which was pretty good. My wife had the fish and chips which she enjoyed. The service was great as always.

   We loved the setting and were excited about the menu, but sadly were quite disappointed with the flavor and quality of the food. The Irish Soda bread was dry and blah. It tasted as though it had been sitting for days. My husband ordered a medium rare steak and received a very well done steak. The bread that came with the nosh board was also dry and tasted old. This may be a good spot to come enjoy a drink, but I would not be back for the food. It definitely fell short.

    Perhaps there’s been a change in ownership, chefs and/or kitchen staff but the food was not good. I’ve been a number of times, prior to todays date, and have thoroughly enjoyed the ambience, drinks and food but sadly, the food was not good, the presentation was poor and the chosen dish i.e, plate or bowl, wasn’t compatible with the food being served.

    Menu changes are disappointing. The Hoey stew with the rosemary was one of the best dishes in town, and that recipe has now been altered; the new stew is meh. Steak and frites: flavorless steak smothered in a flavorless sauce! I know there are growing pains when a new manager takes over, but I hope C&B finds their footing again soon.

    Our table was very sticky - place wasn’t clean Most plates all had chips in them Drinks never refilled Nosh board was to have nuts. We orders size for 4. Not one nut? Fish and chips good Pub pizza fair at best Spent $120 for 3. Not sure we realized that in value Place was ultra loud

    My favorite place in Round Rock. Every time someone visits from out of town, we are going to Cork and Barrel. The menu is always evolving with unique and traditional dishes cooked to perfection. The staff is always energetic and so pleasant to be around. The overall vibe of the place resonates with everyone there. Definitely don’t pass this place up, come and get some great food or just enjoy a drink while sitting by the fire or outside with the live music.

    Another great business meeting - we could hear ourselves all the way thru lunch and beyond. Did not feel rushed out and the tea kept being refilled. first timers for 2 in party of 4 - all really liked the food and restaurant.

    While I think your prices are a little high for most things, especially drinks, my normally frugal husband walked away loving the whole experience there without his usual complaint about prices! The food was excellent, he was especially happy about your Guiness! Portions were generous. The atmosphere is lovely. Joe, our server, was professional, knowledgeable, just a delight.     The menu here is very limited and kind of pricey for what you get. It took a long time to get an iced tea and the waitress walked off before getting everybody's order. (She took two but forgot the other two - ?) The chicken wings were kind of rare and the salad dressing was lackluster.

    We sat outside on a beautiful day and a band was setting up for the evening which would have been fabulous to stay and watch. Service was great! Try the veggie board! Sounds like an odd choice but it is AMAZING!

    There was one server in our area of 7ish tables. We waited so long to get our drinks that we ordered multiple at once. My food was cold when I got it so I didn’t eat my wings. The Mac and cheese was good and warm so I mostly ate that. My husband got fish and chips that were decent but we just waited so long for our food. The poor waitress did her best but I think she was overwhelmed because they had a bartender training on a FRIDAY night. Terrible idea. We won’t be going back.

    Food was overpriced for what we were served, pork dish was dry, took excessive amount of time to receive our plates at dinner time, and plates were brought out in a significant staggered timeframe as well between each person. We were seated outside where the ambience would have been amazing but the live band prevented any of us from hearing each other talk casually at our table. Looking for a relaxing evening w/ friends, turned into a yell fest w/ little convo and mediocre food. And sore throats from yelling to boot. Upon making reservations would be good to know that outside is a live band.

    We have been here a handful of times and never experienced the same problems as last night. The pretzel appetizer and the bacon wrapped pork cutlets were just about cold when they reached our table. The yardbird was just about the driest chicken I've ever had. Drinks are way overpriced for what they are.

    The food was outstanding but the service was pretty bad. He was upset that we wanted to change tables to not site right under the speakers, which were too loud for easy conversation. Then he was inattentive the rest of our meal. After taking our order we didn’t see him again until we asked for our check.

    so- its worth going. affordable drinks and good food. When you pull up, its to what looks like a huuge house. I don’t know what was happening inside, or if the management is bad? but let me tell you every staff interaction we had was just so absurd lol. We arrived and the older hostess seemed extremely stressed, and almost frantic? We were early for a reservation, so my party went outside and got drinks/ an appetizer. We go outside, and after standing around for a while are told we have to order from the left corner of the bar- no problem, but theres not signage or anything so we didn’t know. It felt like everyone working was a- super aware of what people entering the restaurant should be doing and b- super concerned about us following rules.. Service was fine, but we all agreed it was a weird series of staff interactions.
