Seems whenever I go to this establishment I never have an issue with the food or service. They really take pride there and would recommend without hesitation! Love this place!👌
Service and food was excellent!
Service was great and food was terrific!
I never ever leave a bad review but I just can’t stop myself after this. We made a 2pm reservation on Open Table. I called to ask a question and confirm my 2pm BRUNCH reservation. Not by only did the woman who answered the phone neglect to tell me they stop serving brunch at 2 but she also neglected to tell me the kitchen turns over (CLOSES) at 2pm which takes 45 minutes. So we were seated at 2, advised of a short kitchen turnover. They came at 2:45 to finally take our orders. We put in appetizers and waited over another half hour for the food to come out. Appetizers were fine. When it came to taking your dinner orders, of course they were out of the special. Fine. They were also out of the gluten-free pizza crust that I specifically called to confirm about earlier in the week. Fine. When our food came, everything was pretty mediocre. The grilled cheese and mahi mahi tacos were dry, the hamburgers were served without the garlic aïoli mayonnaise (which we were told later when we asked for some that they were out) and it was just unfortunate that we’d been there almost two hours for mediocre food. The server was very polite and it wasn’t his fault. When the manager came over to ask how everything was, I was honest about the surprising wait. He offered to buy us a drink but at that time it was 4 o’clock and we’d had enough. We declined, but he didn’t take anything off of the bill or offer us dessert instead. Just in general note to the restaurant – if you have reservations at 2 o’clock and you know your kitchen is closing to turn over and there’s no food service for 45 minutes, just call the reservations and let them know so they can select a new time if they want to. Don’t surprise your customer with this information once everyone has been seated. I would never go back here and it’s obvious why they always have reservations available on Open Table.
They have a great brunch menu. Went to celebrate a birthday and the service was great! The food also came out very quickly.
Staff was great. Food was great and the live music, AcousticRewind, was phenomenal.
Food wAs amazing. Spinach dip app with garlic bread was incredible
Host is always very courteous, wait staff is friendly and engaging. Food is very good have eaten here several times. Limited menu but anything on it has been tasty!
Went for appetizers and drinks and it was perfect 👍🏻
Great service. Nice welcoming vibe.
Loved the Buffalo shrimp and BLT Tuna Club…great service!
Sat 8/29/21 band was excellent!!
a very good casual small bites restaurant bar right in the middle of downtown Bayshore. I would recommend it.
My friend and I had a great time for my birthday dinner!
This was our 2nd time there and we will definitely be going back. Service is amazing. The food was great and always comes out hot and fresh. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. The drinks are delicious. So nice to find a place that is consistent and we have only positive things to say.
We were looking for a place with good atmosphere and interesting food. Found both at Corks and Taps
Excellent food and atmosphere.
New server who was not very attentive. Owner seated us but never acknowledged our reservation on Open Table.
The chicken sandwich that i ordered was expensive roll was stale and chicken was almost non existent
The pizza very good.
At first we had a difficult time deciding what to order. We were very happy with our choices. The shrimp tacos, chicken pail lard and watermelon salad were just perfect
We had a great date night at Taps and Corks. We were seated immediately and most of the tables were filled on Wednesday at 7pm. Our waitress came over within the next 60 seconds to take our drink order -- I didn't even have a chance to look at the cocktail menu. We took a few minutes and ordered and our drinks came out quickly (jalapeno marg for my finance and the cuke-melon cooler for me). Both drinks were well-made, on the strong side and balanced. We decided to order mostly shareables including caesar salad, shrimp tacos, crispy chicken sandwich and mac and cheese. We told them to bring it out as it was ready. Well, everything came flying out the kitchen within minutes, piping hot (except for the salad) and ready to go. The salad and tacos were great. The truffle fries with the sandwich didn't have much truffle flavor and the bun of the sandwich completely fell apart but all in all very tasty. The only issue was the mac in which the sauce completely broke and separated and it was a big oily mess. The flavor was still there which was good but each bite was dripping with oil (this is the reason for the 4 stars). We showed our waitress, who also saw it and said "yea, that doesn't look right, I'm taking it off for you guys" which was the right call and she absolutely did. It took us about 35 minutes start to finish with the meal and we had a nice time. I would definitely consider returning in the future.
Nice environment, staff friendly and service good. Food was satisfactory to good.
Great ambiance, decor
Pizza, fries and Cuban sandwich were delicious large portions.
Mediterranean platter was so-so
Server was super friendly but definitely very busy
The place was hopping on a Friday night. Reservations were a must. Service was as good as could be expected with such a crowd and minimal staff. The food was delicious and while the appetizer came out hot, the entrees were just warm. Overall, I'd like to try dining on a quieter weekday since the food was very tasty.
Had a very nice dinner here with my husband. First meal out since he came home from the hospital.
Great food and drinks. Good service. Recommended.
Loved the Buffalo shrimp app- its a must! The chicken tenders and Bang Bang shrimp tacos were delicious. Great service and value. Will be back soon!
We were more than pleasantly surprised. The service was exceptional. The food far better than we expected.
Wasn’t expecting to have such an amazing dinner at a bar type restaurant. Definitely was worth the trip
Service was excellent. We sat right away and the atmosphere was great. Our service was excellent as well. We had a super attentive waiter. All in all would definitely recommend this place!
This place use to be great it was always a bit slow but now the food is super salty to the point me and friend did not eat much of it.
Loved the vibe. The manager was lovely and what I truly respected was his honesty. Great waiter; actually one of the best we have had from all price ranges of Long Island restaurants. Will visit again.
Looking for a date night location and it was great. Very nice menu and choices of food. Food was great.
The worst meal I’ve had in years. My wife suggested we get up, pay the Bill, and go somewhere else. In hindsight she was right.
I had a 7:30 reservation at Butera’s (where I’ve been before and enjoyed the food), but it was a little later than I wanted on a Tuesday evening. I saw Corks and Taps had a 6:45 on Open Table which was perfect, so I snagged it.
When we arrived we were the first people in the restaurant. When we left there was one other couple. After eating the food, I understand why.
I had a basic burger and fries. The burger was overcooked, and so ridiculously salty I couldn’t eat it. Normally I like my food salty, but it was almost as if the beef was starting to turn so they masked it by salting it to death. My wife ordered the shrimp and grits. 5 pieces of shrimp swimming in a bowl of grits for $24. My wife never complains about anything, and when I asked her how her meal was, she simply said “not good”.
If the food was free I still wouldn’t eat there.
Nice date night out with my husband. Great atmosphere. Good food and drinks!
The location was over capacity and food was over cooked and under seasoned. I will not be returning
The scallop special was rubbery and the risotto it came with did not taste like any risotto I’ve ever had at a finer restaurant. The price was ridiculously high for the quality of food I got. I also got a flight of beer that was mostly flat and had no indication of what each was.
This is a staple place on Main Street in bay shore. The owner is very attentive to customers. Excited for them to be able to open the big main doors in the front of their store helps with the noise level. But they have good food and a variety of food options! We always like the shareables!
Our server was extremely rude, short and unprofessional. She took our food while we were still eating, left the check and rushed us out.
