   Breakfast was very good. There on the early side for a Saturday so not crowded or too loud. Matt was our server and he was very personable. He offered us a French toast dessert which sounded yummy and it definitely was. However, it was huge and one of the more expensive items on the menu-it cost more than each of our breakfast entries. It wasn’t so much a dessert as one of the regular breakfast menu options that could be eaten as a dessert. Like I said, tasted delicious but did not know the size or the price. Would still go back.

   Our server Erika made this dinner stop even more enjoyable than expected. Great seasoned burger too. This restaurant does everything right from the service to non-alcoholic options.

   Cool, place, convenient stop before a moody concern. THe booth was uncomfortable until we discovered the included lumbar pillow. The tortilla chips with the guacamole were stale. The queso is amazing as is the neverita.

   Great food and service. The environment was relaxing. Had a great time as usual. If you are in the area this is a must for dinner/drinks. The Signature Old Fashion is my favorite go to drink. Try IT!

    We went into the restaurant only to find the temperature inside so cold that we asked if we could sit outside. Fortunately they had a table available outdoors and it was a perfect temperature with a light breeze. Unfortunately, we were sitting under a speaker that was playing some modern music at a volume high enough that it was hard to carry on a conversation without raising your voice. We asked our waitress if they could turn the volume down a notch. She said she'd ask but they never did. That said, the food and service was very good. The inside of the restaurant was very attractive, so it would have been nice to sit in there if it hadn't been cold enough to hang meat inside!

    Loved the open feeling afforded by very high ceilings and open air “feel”, even though we sat inside. Food was delicious. Guac very spicy but yummy with home made chips. Skillet cornbread to die for. Chicken tinga tacos really delicious (you get 3). We asked for no Fresno peppers, so no heat. Hailee was knowledgeable, friendly, charming and funny. Clearly knew her stuff.

    Service was slow, including coffee for a large party, we had to keep asking for anything we needed, ketchup, hot sauce. Food was very slow. The hash was not spicy as described. No spice whatsoever. Disappointing, yet it seems like maybe short of staff and or the chef walked out.

    Unfortunately, I ordered the Grilled Wagyu Flat Iron Steak and it was very chewy. The service was great to accommodate me by removing my meal from the bill. The ambiance is great but very energetic as expected. I would recommend going but I can't suggest that meal.

    Outstanding food and service! A little pricey. Very clean and good lighting. Parking is quite hard as expected in Downtown, ATX. Their wagyu and tacos are awesome!

    Good ambience, but food and drinks were below average. My snapper was so over cooked that it was dry and crumbly. It came with the weirdest side/toppings: sausage, black eyed peas in the rice— it was a confusing meal, for sure. I guess they were going for a southern theme, but it fell short. My friends ordered the tacos, which looked good but were super small. No sides come with the tacos, in case you’re wondering. My husband had the burger and fries, which he said was good. He probably made the best decision out of of all of us. Drinks were expensive, but good. My favorite part: the pimento fritters. Yum!

    While the service was attentive and the food came out quickly, the food itself was mediocre. We both had salads; mine was simply way, way overdressed. I couldn't eat it. And my colleague's salad had chicken that she said was of poor quality. Not sure I'd go back again given all the choices in the area.

    We were seated at the semi-booth hi-top near the entrance. The bench seating was incredibly uncomfortable after ten or so minutes. However, we were pretty hungry and wanted to get dinner in before a work reception. We ordered the corn bread and chips and guacamole as starters. With 6 people, 2 orders of corn bread was perfect. The guacamole was a bit spicy but fine for my palate, not so for a few co-workers. Chips tasted fresh and crunchy. The cornbread was cooked and served in a small skillet and was really good. We devoured t hi is pretty easily. I had the chicken enchiladas and the green Chile was terribly spicy but did have a little kick. I had also had the wagyu burger the evening before and was also fabulous! My other coworkers enjoyed the braised ribs, and the Texas snapper. Our server was very attentive, and always checked on us in case we needed anything, including drinks, or water.

    We went early 6pm dinner to meet friends after work. Food was great, service excellent and friendly. It is connected to the JW so there was a large lively crowd at the bar for happy hour. Originally they sat us in a booth near the bar which was too loud. They were very accomldating to move us to the quieter dining area. 10/10 would visit again.

    First off…ordered the salmon toast. I specifically asked if the cream cheese could be without capers. The waitress not a problem, they could do plain cream cheese.my toast came out with NO cream cheese…toast with arugula salmon and red onion. When i asked the waitress where the cream cheese was she said “oh yeah we have no more cream cheese”…the communication between kitchen/staff/customer was poor. If I was properly informed of no more cream cheese I would’ve ordered differently. Additionally the breakfast burrito for $17 tasted like cafeteria from a hospital. WAAYYYY overpriced and service is subpar for the location unfortunately.

    Our gathering of out of town family was a success at the Corner as the restaurant offered a wide variety of dishes from hamburgers to salmon to enchiladas. In addition, there was a reasonably price wine selection, numerous beers, and commonly available non-alcoholic beverages. The quality of the food was excellent as was the service provided to our group of eight. Great gathering place in downtown Austin.
