Spotted Cote easily at The Royal Festival Hall. Welcomed in by the staff and seated comfortably in a table for one. Service was good with water and wine I'd ordered soon brought to me. Similarly with the food. I had the rabbit terrine with poached egg - delicious! This was followed by the steak frites and a side of petit pois a la francaise. Very good. I finished with blueberry financier with icecream, Lovely three courses for a very reasonable price. I shall be back

If you want a quick bite then this is fine. Service was prompt and efficient. In my opinion ambience was distinctly lacking. Low ceilings, dark, noisy and a bit smelly. Food nowhere near as good as at other Cote branches. ‘Salad’ was one tomato cut into 4 pieces. Mushroom rillette had no discernible mushroom. Not a restaurant for an occasion - more an expensive cafe.

A bit of confusion over the Open Table breakfast offer we had booked but resolved very professionally by the manager. It was empty (Sunday morning) so ambience was lacking a bit but not their fault.
