There were 5 of us. The food was great - I had a very tasty Breton Stew - and our waitress did well. The staff were very helpful. We had a very long wait between ordering the food and receiving the first course. As the restaurant got busy, it was very noisy - no acoustic tiles etc. It was however a very enjoyable lunch.

Cotes St Paul’s is one of our favourite restaurants in the City. Food delicious and very reasonable, especially prix fixe set menu. Service good too. Well worth a visit.

This was actually my second choice but turned out to be a success! Good vibes, great food and friendly service. I had the mussels, even though I prefer a more creamy broth, it had a great taste! Would definately go there again.

We ate here prior to a play at Shakespeares Globe. We had the inclusive menu which was very good value and the food was excellent. Staff were very pleasant and we had a table by the window which was nice. Would definitely eat here again.

The food was well presented and delicious and the service was very friendly and quick. However, it was really noisy and was quite difficult to hear the conversation between the diners on our table, which was not helped by the closeness of the tables & the wooden floors. In addition, there were two workmen carrying out major work to the toilets in the Ladies loos, which was a bit off-putting - it would have been good to have been warned about this before going through the door to the toilets!

Thank you for your feedback, Christina. We’re delighted you enjoyed the food and friendly service. We’re sorry, however, that the noise levels and ongoing works affected your experience, and appreciate your comments regarding better communication around this.
