   We went there for our anniversary. My husband and I both had the steak omakase with 7 cuts of beef including A5 Waygu beef. It was so delicious!

   We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and all the servers wished us congratulations or said something in regard to the special occasion. The team service is great here and Ryan, the sommelier, spent a fair amount of time with us in recommending drinks (his communication skills are A+). Our 2 servers were knowledgeable but they immediately expressed their dissatisfaction with guests ordering the Butcher’s feast chef’s tasting. They questioned us (and the couple sitting at a table next to us) as to why we are ordering that instead of other menu items and made us feel like we were doing something wrong. This was our first time there so we relied on reviews to help us prepare our visit; many suggested the Butcher’s feast. If in fact ordering other a la carte items gives you a better tasting dish, I would suggest the servers at Cote find a better and more amicable way to steer guests in that direction than make them feel small. Unfortunately, this is what we’ll equally remember with how delicious the wagyu beef tasted.

    Had a wonderful time at this location. The service was impeccable from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The food was unique and left you wanting more with each bite. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling to Miami!

    From meeting the hostess to finishing the last bite a great experience. The cuts of meat were all amazing! There are two rounds of sides! Our table chose the butchers feast but I’m pretty sure you can’t go wrong. Our server explained all the sides as well as the meats as he prepared it. There was energy but not interruption. Which is an art. My only wish was for a few more classic sides. We had okra, I missed the cucumbers. But they were very accommodating, my friend wanted sliced garlic and they brought it out no problem. Planning my next visit!

    You MUST go here, should you find yourself in Miami. The Steak Omakase will WOW you in every way possible. Our server, I believe her name was Maritza, was knowledgeable, friendly, kind, and on frickin' point. Every bite, every sip, was explained and thoroughly enjoyed. DO NOT PASS THIS PLACE WITHOUT ENTERING AND HAVING A GREAT DINING EXPERIENCE. ***** 5 Stars *****

    Really let down by this place. Mainly by the service. At no point did we have a main waiter that would explain to us what every dish coming out of the kitchen was. There were 3 of us and we all ordered the same Omakase menu. At one point a caviar dish came out of the kitchen and was put down on the table, I asked the waiter that delivered it if this dish was 1 of 3 or its to be shared between 3. He shrugged his shoulders saying he didn’t know. The dish sat at the table for almost 10 mins till we could get the attention of another waiter and he said the other 2 should be coming out soon. Why would they not come out all at the same time). I mentioned this and that it could of been done better (along with a few other things), and he said the manager had been made aware of this. When we found out who the manager (the Sommelier), never did she check up on us or give recognition of what was going on or give and explanation. For what it was as a restaurant, it was a bit of a let down. I couldn’t fault the food, but the service was sub par for this caliber of restaurant.

    The MICHELIN-starred and James Beard Award-nominated Korean Steakhouse has been on our radar for some time, but dinner reservations must be booked well in advance, unless you're okay with eating after 11pm. Understanding it's the same menu for both lunch and dinner, in we went for a Saturday afternoon bite. Our cocktails were refreshing... I could drink their Ultimatum cocktail all day. Their Tuna tartare might be in the top 3 I've had when it comes to grade, freshness and taste. Wanting to try their chef's favourite cuts, we went with the Butcher's Fest. This gives each person 4 selected cuts (2oz of each, for a total of 8oz). We also added 2oz of A5 Japanese Wagyu which is priced per ounce. This cut is like butter melting in your mouth! Heaven. We enjoyed most of the accompanying sides, which not only compliment the meats and also serves to cleanse your pallet in between bites. Unlike some other Korean Steakhouses, COTE Miami actually cooks your meats/fish at your table, which is a great touch. This is definitely a dining experience better enjoyed with a group of friends where everyone can feast!
