We visited CRAVE in Maple Grove for a birthday dinner with friends. Reservation was convenient and timely. Service was very accommodating. My friends enjoyed their sushi and my grilled new york was really done superbly. Birthday brownies were fun.

We had a reservation and arrived 10 minutes before and they texted us that our table was ready. When we arrived we were promptly seated and waited for 15-20 min just for someone to acknowledge that we were there. We didn’t even receive water during that time. We had plans to go somewhere after eating. We had to leave to be able to eat and make our original timeline.

Open Table still has a brunch menu for this location and it is no longer offered. Really disappointed our group as the new breakfast menu has about four options and is nothing like the menu on-line. Noise level is astronomical...we could have a conversation. Service was excellent and the dishes tried were good.

The Lobster Mac and Cheese was superb!! Would definitely have again. Rich flavor, abundant sauce, meat in every bite and the pasta was done perfectly. The mushroom fettuccini was disappointing. One mushroom and no asparagus, light on the sauce as well. The waitress brought some asparagus on the side after we shared our concern. A generous pour for our glass of wine.

Very nice rooftop dining. Could maybe use a few fans on these very hot days, to create a breeze. Highly recommend the avocado chicken egg rolls. Awesome!

Overall, it was a good place to have dinner. The food was good, and the service was not bad. They were definitely trying. The only real issue we had was the number of menu items they were sold out on. We will eat here again. It's a little pricey but overall a good experience. BD
