   This was our best dining experience during our few days in Sedona. Although the lunch menu was quite limited, we managed to choose two delicious courses each. The only downside was the very expensive wine list. We chose an Italian white wine which at $80 ($A120) was one of the least expensive wines on the list but I would compare to $A40 at home. A minor issue perhaps and may have something to do with local taxes but certainly not good value.

   Horrible service. Scencic and beautiful spot though. Food is extremely subpar for the price. Save your self cutting an arm and a leg off to pay for something so mediocre. You’re better off buying deli meat and making you own BLT that you can just enjoy at Red Rocks Park or literally on the Creek the restaurant has tables at.

   Cress’ location next to Oak Creek was peaceful and full of zen. The service mirrored the great food and we’ll definitely be back. We had our brunch but didn’t have time for dinner, but it’s on the list to check it out again, and enjoy a bottle of wine.

   We were excited to be able to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday. We were 10 minutes early, so we were told to go to the bar and have a drink. Not politely but rudely. I stood in the bar for 20 minutes while the lone bartender washed bar ware and wiped down the counter and stood with her back to us for 10 minutes ignoring me, she tossed a menu on the bar and said here is the menu, I told her I knew what drinks I wanted to order and after I told her, again she pretty much just ignored me and talked to 2 other guests who had just walked in. I thought the service in the bar was really horrible. We were called to our table after 25 minutes and the table was in a lovely creekside location. They acknowledged my husband’s birthday which was nice. Our waitress was excellent, our sommelier was excellent, he helped us pick a nice bottle of wine. We shared 3 courses as we don’t eat large portions. The food was done very well, although the portions were tiny. The reason for the poor rating other than the snotty service by the maitre d and bartender is because after spending $350 on dinner for 2 we went to get our car and were told they charge $17 to park. We were not told there was a charge to park, when we questioned this, the bell man told us the only other option would have been to park up in the village and walk down. I just had hip surgery and cannot walk hills or any distance. We feel this is misleading not to provide this information prior to parking. I will be contacting the general manager about the service. We will not be returning to this restaurant. Ever.

   Our reservation was at 830 and did not get seated until 9:45. Checked with the host stand 4 times and not once did a manager come speak to us. Once we sat waited another 15 minutes for our server. The worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Would have been nice if someone acknowledged the wait and been more prompt rather than just letting us wait. Definitely did not expect this and should have been offered at least an apology from the manager but instead spent $400 for a really bad night that ruined the rest of our evening because no other bars were open after we left

    The setting was lovely. Our order was taken promptly. Appetizers were very good. Salads through main entrees were fair. The timing between salads and middle dish and then entree were extremely long. We were not interested to stay for dessert because of the length of time between dishes. Our main server was great in the beginning but barely spoke to us when we did see her and then dropped our check and basically ran away. The restaurant seemed to have plenty of staff to handle the number of guests. Overall, we were disappointed with our experience. The restaurant came highly recommended. We would not visit again when returning to Sedona.

    We had the chef pairing with wine. It was okay . We were celebrating our Anniversary and the Chef didn’t even recognize the celebration. The dessert was so blah… for a Chef tasting!! Nothing special was done for our Anniversary.

    We made a reservation 3 weeks in advance for a patio table only to arrive to a table inside. The explanation provided was that there was a chance of storms so they were moving everyone inside. There was a 1% chance of rain and I saw them seat at least 2 tables outside after they told us everyone was moving in. Our wait Danny was great but I don’t like being lied to about patio seating when we were coming for the outside creek side ambiance not just the food. And the lights inside are way too bright.

    L’Auberg was one of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve dined for lunch. However, once we were sat, we waited 15 minutes at our table, and I finally went up to inform the hostess. Beverages took 14 minutes to arrive, our lunch took 35 minutes to arrive all while there was only seven tables on entire patio Creekfront dining and zero inside. Extremely disappointing on the lack of service considering our bill was $295.87 for 3 people.

    Service was abysmal. Had to ask the host for assistance after 25 minutes of sitting at our table with no service, not even water. Then once the waiter came by to take our drink and food orders we still had to ask for water two more times and didn’t get any drinks until 45 minutes after being seated. Watched all other tables around us being assisted oddly enough. Once the waiter took our order the food came pretty quickly and was tasty, so the 3 stars credit goes to the kitchen and the ambience.

    The setting alone is worth eating here. However the food was fantastic so we felt it was a good value. A bit pricey for a nearly 20 dollar Oatmeal but the setting makes up for it. so peaceful!

    Reserved an outdoor table (main reason we came) Called to confirm prior that it was an outdoor seat due to some light rain in the afternoon, host said yes for sure. Get to the restaurant, 10 minutes prior to my reservation but was seated 7 minutes after…. Then they tell us as they are about to seat us that there is no longer outdoor seating… SO frustrating… but we go to the table anyways. Another 7-8 minutes go by before anyone comes to acknowledge us. The food was ok… very overpriced for what you get. The service was lacking and it affected the special night I was there to have… would not come back or recommend

    Food was nothing spectacular. Two people ordered entrée salads and the portions were very small especially for the price.  The waiter was very nice. Unfortunately, our water was never refilled after requesting and follow up on cocktails was not present either.  Steak was completely over cooked and dried out like it was under a heat lamp, they made it right, and it was very delicious.  the whole process is extremely slow. We were there for over two hours, which was very nice location to sit and relax, but it’s frustrating when you’re waiting for drinks and food

    Before Covid we enjoyed fantastic Mother’s Day brunches at L’Berge. Although the ambiance was fantastic, there was a definite decline in the quality of the food. Also in the a past champagne and parking were included in the price of the brunch. That is no longer the case. I would still recommend the experience, but it was a little disappointing.

    Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting for Mother’s Day brunch. Food was amazing and the view on the water was beautiful. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. Our server, Melanie, was exceptional and made it a very memorable day for both my mother and mother-in-law.

    Made reservations specifically for Mother's Day to sit creek side coming in from CA for the weekend with entire family. Even though it was not raining, we were seated inside. VERY DISAPPONTING! Defeated the purpose and the food was not worth the cost. The creek side sitting was the whole point.

    The only issue I have with Cress is the vibe they palpably relay…. that you as the guest should feel honored to be there, not the reverse. They didn’t have enough guests to make it worth their effort to serve creek side (which was the only reason we planned our evening there) so they tried to blame the weather which was clear skies. So the snooty vibe plus the price makes the value somewhat questionable. Eating creekside is the value differentiator for sure. I will say the food is good. We very much enjoyed the bolognese and our waiter took good care of us.

    We reached late due to traffic and it was almost closing time for lunch but staff was kind enough to accommodate us. Food and ambience was awesome. Especially desserts were delicious.     I think it is absurd that parking is valet only and they charged us $18 for it. Ive never seen a high end restaurant offer a valet that wasnt complimentary let alone so overpriced. Just feels dirty. The couple next to us was complaining about how as hotel guests it was included but they were charged for valet on their hotel bill. I had been wanting to go here for a long time for the creek views. Because of the light sprinkling rain we were not given the table I had requested ahead of time by the water and I ended up facing the wall unable to see the creek at all. I felt very annoyed that there were so many other people by the water that had arrived earlier but we were not allowed. I asked the attendant if they could comp our parking for the seating loss which his manager told him no. Lost opportunity there. The menu was very poor from what I was expecting. Half salads. I dont go to an expensive restaurant and pay 18 for parking for a salad. I ended up ordering a blt just because the menu was so limited and I didnt want to give them any of my money at this point. To top it all off the waitress was a little rough on the edges just dropping off the check sternly without a "have a wonderful evening" or anything. Will not be returning.

    Put it this way they had to comp our meal which consisted of two Cobb salads that are way overpriced and two BLT (with added chicken) sandwiches that they couldn’t get right. No appetizers and one drink each. Not to mention took over 40 minutes to deliver our food. Says in menu the fries are garlic fries with the sandwiches but they weren’t . We didn’t mention that part though as we were so hungry. Poor communication on what’s going on. Had to find the manager to ask about food. Who never came over to follow up or apologize. Server was embarrassed about what was going on with the food. Just wish they could be honest as to what was going on. Said the kitchen got slammed but people who sat after us and ordered after us were finishing there meals and we hadn’t gotten ours. We know this experience was probably a fluke as we have been here a few times. Just horrible early Mother’s Day lunch experience. Don’t mind paying for overpriced food as the ambiance is truly beautiful.

    Unbelievable meal with excellent service. We were seated right next to a Oak Creek with amazing views. The violinist was an extra special touch. Food quality and diversity was unmatched. They even threw in an extra small appetizer. Expect to have a true find dining experience with exceptional quality and attention to detail. Try to get there around 5:30 to 6 PM so that you can enjoy sunset and sit outside at the creek. Shout out to Bill, our waiter, for providing great service

    I’ve been here multiple times and honestly the only reason is the creek. The food is mediocre at best. The prices are ridiculously high. While our server was very friendly the drinks took forever and not even an “I’m sorry I’m very busy”. I know it’s a hotel and if you’re not staying there don’t tell the staff that.
