   We went to celebrate our anniversary and it was a wonderful evening. We were shown to our table, with menus, right away. Our waitress promptly arrived to take our drink orders and was very attentive and pleasant throughout our meal. The dinner was scrumptious - perfect, in fact! Too full for dessert but ordered carrot cake to go, and it was beautifully garnished, in a clear plastic container. Will definitely return.

   Crossroads has always been our favourite place to dine. Consistently good service and the best tasting food. We celebrated a birthday and chose a Caesar salad that was excellent. the lobster pasta and veal schnitzel were decadent. Fresh flowers on the table was a special touch. Can’t wait to go back for another special occasion.

   We made a reservation and was sat in the middle of the room when there were other empty tables available. We were not offered the choice of the patio and would have preferred to sit there. The sun was shining in my boyfriends eyes and it was freezing. I had the Misto which was overcooked. The vegetable tasted burnt. My boyfriend enjoyed his lobster ravioli. The best key lime pie ever. Our server was a lovely lady.

    Great experience as usual. Only complaint is the slice of Julie’s carrot cake. We had it to go. Was very dry and the icing was not as creamy as in the past.

    We enjoyed our celebration with my parents for their 65th anniversary. We were in the enclosed dining cabin. Staff was excellent, food was excellent and with my mom having dementia it was nice and quiet for her to enjoy the evening and my dad was able to relax and enjoy the evening as well. Thank you to everyone for making it a very special evening

    Nice restaurant with friendly service. They serve very nice salads and desserts. Steaks are good, but the cook doesn't know how to cook fish. If you do order the fish special, I have twice now, order it medium or it will be pan fried to death.

    Waitress was very pleasant but we felt our food was served too close together. No time to really enjoy each course. I did ask her not bring our main so quickly after eating our appetizers and salads which were brought too closely together. She must have told them to hold off a bit as mains they were warm not hot.

    Another amazing meal at Crossroads for my mother and I. Everyone bent over backwards to help my mother with her mobility issues but NOTHING would keep her from Crossroads. Our favourite place!! Amazing food & atmosphere. Lucky to have Kayla serving us. See you again soon and THANKS

    We have always enjoyed this restaurant. Our visit last night was very poor in comparison. We were seated in the Muskoka Room area next to a screen window and it was cold and raining heavily outside. We had specifically asked for an inside dining room table when we booked and we were told there were none available when we arrived. The quality of the food was poor this time. Over cooked fish and the worst Caesar salad I've had in a long time. We asked for bread and it was stale so we returned it. The prices are high for an entree and one would expect much better quality for this price. A disappointing birthday meal. We will now have to find another good restaurant as this was one of our favorites. Too bad Crossroads. Not sure what is happening there. The waitress was great and gave us wonderful service with a smile!

    During the last year, I have found Crossroads to be inconsistent. The ambiance and service were very good. We sat on the patio and our server brought us cushions and a blanket and moved the heat lamp closer to our table so that we were warm as it was a cool evening.The Summer Solstice cocktail was excellent and the fried oysters very good. The original serving of pickerel was under cooked - and, yes, I know that fish is often over cooked but this was still quite raw in the centre and my halibut was over cooked and dry. They cooked another piece of pickerel but it seemed to lack flavour. The sauce on the halibut was delicious but it didn't save the overcooked portion of halibut. Dessert - a version of rhubarb/strawberry cheesecake - was tasteless and you really had to look to find a piece of rhubarb. We were disappointed and I know that Crossroads can do better. I used to recommend Crossroads without reservation. Not as confident now in the quality and value provided.

    I was not told when I made the reservation that for Mother’s Day the menu would be a limited selection at a fixed price. The place was very busy (noisy); our server very congenial but little things were missing: we had to ask for more water and pour our wine; there seemed to be an effort to get turnover rather than to Justify their prices with a comparable level of service.

    We loved meeting one of the owners Julie, we met and loved lots of great staff especially Jeanette our waitress and Gabby, working in any task which needed to be done. As we were sitting at the bar, we enjoyed chatting with her while she polished glasses. She is a great human! We have eaten at Crossroads dozens of times over the years and always found our food exceptional, it was very good, but not fabulous. Plus it has now priced itself out of our market which I’m very sad about. The Crème Brûlée was I think the best I’ve tasted ever anywhere!! Thanks so much.

    First let me say we love, love your restaurant. My review of yesterday, the bar service was extremely slow, our server Amanda was great. While the food was good, we found the duck confit lacked flavour and the lobster was way over cooked , tough and difficult to remove from shell.

    Crossroads is always a fabulous dining experience. The wonderful food paired with the beauty of the property and warm welcoming service is always amazing.     Our 1st time at crossroads was wonderful. It took us far too many years to try it, sorry we hadn’t done so sooner. Service was outstanding and the food was great (try the pickerel!). A bit noisy as it was so busy, but i’d rather that than be in an empty place. Well worth the drive from the torrence area, we will be back. Highly recommend.
