The Crow is lively place, and the food and service was very good. We were with an out of town friend for dinner, and arrived @ 630pm, Sat. evening. The Crow was about 30% - 35% full ... and the noise level was quit high. I imagine if the place was full it would be very hard to carry on a conversation.

First time at this restaurant. Friendly, knowledgeable service. Nice curated wine list. Chickpea fritters as a shared app were delicious. Our entrees also very good with beautiful presentations. Will be back next week to enjoy the musical entertainment.

Fantastic experience. The impressive thing to me is it has both amazing live music and sophisticated food. Great wine list accompanied by enthusiastic, attentive professional service.
The music and vibe made me feel bad for not paying a cover charge. Tuna was off the charts.

Never disappointed with the Crow Restaurant. The food is always excellent and the wine list extensive. The fact that live music is a high prority for this place makes it even more stellar. One of the best places in town to dine for lunch or dinner. Bravo!

This was our second time at Crow. First time was AMAZING! 5 Stars! This time was great but not as good as the first time. The soup was incredible as was the jerk chicken pizza. My husband had the risotto with beef ragu and it basically tasted like spaghetti meat sauce on risotto. We were expecting real pieces of beef, not ground beef. Our waitress was very nice but she only look at me (the female) and really didn't acknowledge my husband at all. I made the reservation and I tasted the wine so perhaps that was why? But it was so obvious and uncomfortable that he was never really spoken to. Anyway, we will go again and we will recommend to friends (have already a few times!)

My husband and I have been going up to Collingwood for years now and only recently decided to give Crow. Bar and Variety a try last week while on holidays and we were not disappointed!
The restaurant itself is open and airy with views to the open kitchen and the stage towards the back. Along the right hand side of the restaurant are the tables for seating and in the middle are the large communal tables with stools. The left hand side has the large bar which offers seating and the full menu. The atmosphere is lively and energetic and reminds me of a trendy restaurant in Toronto. The music is loud and encourages an atmosphere that is loud so if you are looking for a nice quiet evening out, this is not the place!
If you want to sit at a table then reservations are a must. All walk ins are seated either at the bar or at one of the communal tables.
To be noted - there are 2 seating's for the tables and there is a 2 hour limit (especially on busy nights). My only compliant about the restaurant is that this isn't communicated prior to making your reservation or communicated when they call to confirm the reservation. On our first night we unfortunately were rushed at the end to finish in order to free up the table for the next seating. The next night we went, we decided to sit at the bar where there is no time limit.
We also really enjoyed the live bands that played and if you are around on a Thursday they do an open mic where you can hear some really good local talent!.
Now onto the food! The food here is creative, inventive, bold. We were incredibly impressed with the quality of the ingredients, presentation and flavors. I highly recommend trying the appetizer plate for 2 as this gives you a nice range of flavors and could be a meal on its own! A true highlight was the Roasted Winter Squash main. The flavors in this dish are bold and in your face.If you are looking for delicious food, great cocktails, live music and a lively atmosphere then Crow is the place to be.

Food was AMAZING!!! Loved the pork belly appetizer and pork chop main. My hubby is vegetarian and was a bit disappointed at the limited choices. Service was good, but it would have been nice if the wait staff had poured our wine!

My hanger steak was tasteless and tough. Also never can understand why chefs bury crisp fries with wet meat and veg making them soggy... usually I very much enjoy The Crow so sorry this time my meal was disappointing...I will be back.

We had a wonderful time at Crow. On Valentines Day! The food was amazing...the beet salad was the best salad I’ve ever had -shards of fresh veggies creatively displayed amongst bursting flavours. Our server was excellent with great timing. Honey Moon Phase was the musical duo that we came to hear and they are fantastic, performing songs from a varied repertoire with wonderful singer Laura conning and excellent instrumentalist Nelson Beattie.

Funky place. Lively and louder. Open concept. Very nice interior. Food is above average but pricey. This isn’t a vanilla restaurant. They have some differentiation and charisma, which is nice. Don’t like sitting on a stool though. I’d go back.

Food was great. Music (not live band) was too loud (and not to my taste) - so loud it was hard to have a conversation. Originally seated at a communal table even though many regular tables were available. Asked to be moved - which they accommodated. Not sure why they didn't put us at a regular table to start off. Also - they couldn't find my reservation - even though I received both a phone call and e mail to confirm. That said - the food was really good. Ambience not.

I loved Crow; the decor, kept old moldings, bar ,stage....has live music most nites but not when we went, look forward to that. My only complaint is synonymous with Bruce Wine Bar, is the food, however stunning in its presentation, locally resourced ,perfectly cooked with delightful flavours -is just too rich!!! Perhaps its just me but with that I need a FRESH green salad with no other fancy seeds or cheeses .

The food and ambiance is very good. Unfortunately our waitress was more interested in taking our order and getting us out of there for the next reservation than our experience. It’s best to tell your clients about the table in advance than ruining their evening by making them feel rushed.

I'm a huge fan of "Bruce Street Wine Bar" so it didn't surprise me that "The Crow" would be anything less than fantastic!
Took a friend for Lunch on her Birthday, what a treat!
Ambience was special, with lots of neat added touches (love the crow's on the ceiling), service excellent, and food was delicious.
A definite "Yes" for me :)
Cheers!

Crow bar has fantastic food, and a great scene any night. There is almost always live music. The place turns more into a bar after 10 pm. The prices are up there but it comes with the blue mountain territory. Staff is also great and are constantly on the move.

Great burger. Friendly service. Fun casual atmosphere.
REALLY Need to fix the heating issues. It was breezy and cold. And fix hot water in the bathrooms please. That’s very declassé- feels like a saloon with a 16$ burger. That’s not at all cool.
