Hidden gem. Great night!!
Our fave restaurant in Collingwood this summer. Fresh, seasonal and innovative dishes. We have enjoyed the chickpea fritters since our first visit. Burgers, vegetarian entrees and flatbreads have been our faves. Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.
We had such a fun time at Crow this past weekend. The vibe was cool and the live music was amazing! Solid wine list and yummy cocktails. Poke bowl and flatbreads were delicious!
The concept of eating local is beautifully optimized at Crow Bar and Variety. Servers are knowledgeable about the food and how it is made. Drinks are creative and delightful . Chefs skills are on point . Overall great experience.
Food here was creative and delicious... from appetizer to main to dessert. Will be back again and again.
Food was great. Service was great and heck we saw a sousaphonist who also played the drums.
Soup was good. My Asian ribs were way too salty. As were my friends fries.
Great vibe. Great food. Great music. Really picks up after 9pm on music nights.
Great food, Great drinks, Great service and the cleanest restrooms I've ever seen in a place with live music. Try the fruit loops cocktail.
Love the crow. Great service good and ambience
We were there to hear the band Union Duke - great evening! Shared a variety of delicious appetizers. The service was very good and the place has a great atmosphere.
This is our 4th time at this restaurant since we moved here for the summer. It's a great restaurant, friendly efficient staff who are knowledgeable. The food is really flavourful, beautifully presented and have interesting combinations of flavours. Highly recommend. In our opinion, a real gem in Collingwood...Toronto edginess with top notch food in a great location.
Crow is a hidden gem in Collingwood. Casual atmosphere with music later in the evening.
The food was excellent -- I had the tuna poke and it could not have been fresher or tastier. My friends had the schnitzel and loved it.
Service was friendly and attentive. Fun place all around.
Truly unreal food here. Really a must try. Their mixologist is unreal as well. You will not regret going to this one.
It was are Anniversary, a free drink or dessert would have been a nice touch , considering the price we payed for two dinners. The food was great .
I always want to support the local restaurants in Collingwood and will continue to recommend the Crow Bar to family and friends.
The food was awesome and so was the ambience.
The Crow is lively place, and the food and service was very good. We were with an out of town friend for dinner, and arrived @ 630pm, Sat. evening. The Crow was about 30% - 35% full ... and the noise level was quit high. I imagine if the place was full it would be very hard to carry on a conversation.
We went for drinks that were fabulous.......and the food was presented well that I saw coming to other tables.
Great food - we'll be back for sure
Great atmosphere and energy. Live music was great .
Our second time at Crow. Had a great experience. Food, drinks, service, atmosphere, music all fantastic. Will be back again soon.
The atmosphere and most importantly the food was spectacular. Well prepared and plated. Extremely fast table service. Extremely impressed and may have found my new favourite restaurant. We will definitely be back!
The pizza was deelish! We came for the live music which did not disappoint . Thank you Shane !
First time at this restaurant. Friendly, knowledgeable service. Nice curated wine list. Chickpea fritters as a shared app were delicious. Our entrees also very good with beautiful presentations. Will be back next week to enjoy the musical entertainment.
Fantastic experience. The impressive thing to me is it has both amazing live music and sophisticated food. Great wine list accompanied by enthusiastic, attentive professional service.
The music and vibe made me feel bad for not paying a cover charge. Tuna was off the charts.
Four of us shared a few burgers and main courses. All tasty and perfectly cooked. Awesome burgers, great veges and fries.
Great service and very helpful staff. Very accommodating to growing party. Great ambiance.
Really enjoyed our experience
Never disappointed with the Crow Restaurant. The food is always excellent and the wine list extensive. The fact that live music is a high prority for this place makes it even more stellar. One of the best places in town to dine for lunch or dinner. Bravo!
Amazing food, music and attentive staff! A great place to go for dinner or drinks to watch some very talented bands.
Amazing food, totally blown away by the variety and quality. Great drinks and live music too!
First visit. Great vibe and energy. The interior is very nice. Unfortunately we had to leave before the live music started. I had a veggie dish which was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their food. Would be going back for sure.
Will not be returning
Bread knots were under cooked dough
This was our second time at Crow. First time was AMAZING! 5 Stars! This time was great but not as good as the first time. The soup was incredible as was the jerk chicken pizza. My husband had the risotto with beef ragu and it basically tasted like spaghetti meat sauce on risotto. We were expecting real pieces of beef, not ground beef. Our waitress was very nice but she only look at me (the female) and really didn't acknowledge my husband at all. I made the reservation and I tasted the wine so perhaps that was why? But it was so obvious and uncomfortable that he was never really spoken to. Anyway, we will go again and we will recommend to friends (have already a few times!)
Had great evening. Music good. Would have loved wings on menu
Excellent, personalized service. Amazing live entertainment!
Great atmosphere and always consist great food. Good choice on the menu. Also good for sharing plates. Great music if you can stay until after 9:00
Amazing food! Just in town for a weekend Getaway, and we were blown away by the food.
My husband and I have been going up to Collingwood for years now and only recently decided to give Crow. Bar and Variety a try last week while on holidays and we were not disappointed!
The restaurant itself is open and airy with views to the open kitchen and the stage towards the back. Along the right hand side of the restaurant are the tables for seating and in the middle are the large communal tables with stools. The left hand side has the large bar which offers seating and the full menu. The atmosphere is lively and energetic and reminds me of a trendy restaurant in Toronto. The music is loud and encourages an atmosphere that is loud so if you are looking for a nice quiet evening out, this is not the place!
If you want to sit at a table then reservations are a must. All walk ins are seated either at the bar or at one of the communal tables.
To be noted - there are 2 seating's for the tables and there is a 2 hour limit (especially on busy nights). My only compliant about the restaurant is that this isn't communicated prior to making your reservation or communicated when they call to confirm the reservation. On our first night we unfortunately were rushed at the end to finish in order to free up the table for the next seating. The next night we went, we decided to sit at the bar where there is no time limit.
We also really enjoyed the live bands that played and if you are around on a Thursday they do an open mic where you can hear some really good local talent!.
Now onto the food! The food here is creative, inventive, bold. We were incredibly impressed with the quality of the ingredients, presentation and flavors. I highly recommend trying the appetizer plate for 2 as this gives you a nice range of flavors and could be a meal on its own! A true highlight was the Roasted Winter Squash main. The flavors in this dish are bold and in your face.If you are looking for delicious food, great cocktails, live music and a lively atmosphere then Crow is the place to be.
Food was AMAZING!!! Loved the pork belly appetizer and pork chop main. My hubby is vegetarian and was a bit disappointed at the limited choices. Service was good, but it would have been nice if the wait staff had poured our wine!
