   Most of the food was cold, and the hottest it would be was lukewarm, margherita pizza came out cold and the meatballs too, on top of that they were a bit undercooked the first time. They brought us new meatballs but they were still lukewarm and honestly we were just put off by the first set of meatballs that we ended up just leaving most of the plate there. It was an overall okk restaurant with great waiting staff, I would come again but I would only come for the charcuterie boards and wine flights, those didn’t disappoint:)

   Perfect place for casual dinning. We dined in for Mother’s Day brunch, service was ok, and the chef came over to our table to smooth things over when our experience wasn’t the best. I think that Cru is best enjoyed for lunch or for their wine tastings!!

   First time trying this place and enjoyed it very much! The waiter was attentive and friendly! The wine was also very tasty, I’d definitely return for a few glasses again.

   You need a reservation to be seated inside and it is usually less busy on a Sunday evening, so that is my recommended time to go. I love the ambiance and food/wine are delicious. Great place for date night or a night out with wine-loving friends.

   We really enjoyed our brunch today starting with the fig & gorgonzola bruschetta. It was delectable & just the right portion! We both ended up ordering the crab cake Benedict enjoying every bite. The server was always prompt & pleasant. We had a visit from the chef who apparently was fairly new to Cru Domain. We appreciated him taking the time to stop by.

   Took my mom here when she visited and the food was so so so good. Got the rainbow trout, shrimp scampi, pear and Gorgonzola pizza, and crème brûlée. Everything was so good!

    Wine flights were given to the wrong people in our group of 4. Calamari was just ok and there weren't many on the plate. Mussels weren't fully cooked and over 6 that weren't opened. We asked for more bread because they only served 2 slices. Broth got cold waiting for bread. Wasn't crowded so no excuse. Terrible service!

    My first time here. The wine was delish and our appetizers were great! Unfortunately, we ordered two different pizzas to take home and they were both missing ingredients and were not good. Might be back probably just to drink.

    I love going to Cru and have been about five times in all. The food is amazing and a huge selection of wines. Both the brunch and dinner are great. I especially like the wine flights that you can order. The staff really knows their stuff about wines! My best friend and I love going here to meet up. Highly recommend!!

    Thank you to hostess Rebecca for holding my table reservation as I rushed in 10 minutes late. Late because couldn’t find the restaurant. Was confused as to the location due to no signage. The sign was not illuminated; dining at night posed an issue when you can’t find the restaurant nor entry. CRU should really consider renovating the frontage for a more appealing and attention grabbing appearance. Stayed optimistic as to the restaurant appeared upbeat. Busy with people and the aroma of food peaked my interest. Unfortunately the ADHD waiter failed to remember some folks orders, drinks, refills and cutlery. Two items I salivated over were out (Wygu Meatballs and Tomato Soup & Grilled Cheese …how does a wine bar run out of CHEESE and BREAD for goodness sake??). Settled on Braised Short Rib and Pinot Flight. All were pretty good. While the restaurant is absolutely beautiful, I left feeling underwhelmed.

    Food and drinks are always pretty good. Service sometimes takes a while to come around. There have been multiple times where I’ve been here for happy hour and don’t get to place my order before happy hour ends due to either short staffing or not being able to get a hold of the server. My server was great this time around but maybe something cru can work on is providing more wait staff to accommodate the needs of tables. Overall, I had a good experience today.

    Usual high quality of food. Noticed the bread selection for the cheese boards has been toned down. Our server was very accommodating with our customized request, thank you. The top end selections for each of our wine flights (Italian reds, Cabernet ) were a little disappointing, the lower end choices were much better. Ac was clearly on although it was a cold day, it was chilly inside and other diners also kept their coats on inside. We understood it cannot be controlled by the restaurant but by remote request to a business owner out of state.

    Service was bad. Food was even worse. Went for brunch on a Saturday and only had a handful of menu options with no substitutions. What was on the menu looked tasty, but on a table of 4 they picked up full plates when we were done. It was that bad. Prices were high for what you receive but the food was just inedible. Place was empty for a reason i guess. When every other restaurant was packed. Salmon board was so salty, how? It’s smoked salmon. Avocado toast was tasteless. Chicken sandwich was even worse, stale bun, completely over fried. Crab and eggs Benedict- sounded so good. One egg - over cooked. One crab cake - tasted like vinegar. Sauce even worse. Goat cheese beignets sound really good, had some chocolate sauce on it which was not even described on the menu as such. We all literally took a couple bites and just put it down. I chose the place for out of town friends so it was on me. Don’t make the same mistake.

    My wife and I dine here often. We are rarely disappointed. This time a bit so. Usually we get a salad, an appetizer and a pizza or entree to share. The Pear and Gorgonzola was exceptional as always. A delightful combination of flavors. Same for the Fig and Gorgonzola Bruschetta. Both are on our favorites list. However we do wish they had better options on salads. We had the Gem Lettuce Salad and it was disappointing to say the least. With all the other great options on the menu it just seems there could be and should be better options for a couple of tempting salads. With that said, we certainly will return. Cru is an exceptional food and wine bar. A perfect dining destination for us.

    We haven't been in years and were excited to have a date night. Our server could have cared less about our dining and was not fluent in wine. Hats off to the chef, food was great. Overall experience was rushed with subpar service.

    Taste was good but overall portions extremely small. Lobster bisque 1/2 cup with no lobster pieces. Lobster shrimp pot stickers 4 mini dumplings.. so tiny filling undetectable.. very spicy which overtook any flavor. Short ribs.. 1.. just ok Filet served to temperature ordered with 6 haricot vert and dry 2 inch square of au gratin potatoes. Lava cake mini with no lava and cream brulee pasty (overcooked probably due to mini size). Wine good. Our server was excellent. $54 over priced for what was served.

    Super disappointed in the Christmas Eve dinner. Service was greatly lacking and slow despite very few customers. Ahi Tuna tartare- mostly unripe tomatoes and cucumbers, very bland Black truffle capellini- was cold, obviously reheated, noodles overdone, very bland, no truffles to taste or visible, no Parmesan, NEEDED that salt Filet mignon- cooked to order Truffle potato gratin - clearly reheated in microwave, top was stiff and inedible, potatoes not cooked through, bland, no truffle taste Parmesan crusted halibut - NOT fresh, clearly reheated, prepared probably the day before, fish was overdone and tough, very fishy taste, such a waste of a great cut. Parmesan crust was soggy, pale and old. Such a disappointing Christmas dinner with my husband.

    We have dined at CRU often in the evening. For some time it has been one of our favorite restaurants. Always delicious and a good value. This was the first time we have gone there for brunch. To be honest we were a little disappointed with the menu choices and to be honest the prices. Wish there was more variety and breakfast style options as opposed to sandwiches. Also the service was a little slower than we normally experience in the evening. It will remain on our list of "GO TO" restaurants in the evening but probably not for weekend brunch.
