    Our server was excellent and well-versed in wine especially, red wine, and the shrimp and lobster potstickers are the best and the steak fillet is excellent as well. Highly recommended especially for a first date experience.

    Overall, there has been a great improvement with both food and service. The last two times prior to this visit were terrible, especially the service. Our server was very attentive and our food came out hot and in a timely manner. I have a three strike rule for businesses and this third hit was a home run!

    Before going farther, this is one review out of many experiences. Prix Fixe meal for Thanksgiving 2023 at 730pm. I'd still go back for their regular menu off holiday. Was seriously surprised at how bad this experience was... ------------------------------------------------ Bread on table was flat out stale. Like crumbly so... Turkey WAY overcooked (or kept under warmer too long) to the point of being tough. It was seriously awful. The lava cake desert was hard outside and barely warm. The mash potatoes and wine was good. Great service during meal, but when told about the quality, was offered "oh sorry about that" and that was that... Based on my experience I'd never do a prix fixe meal with Cru again. Or at the very least not towards the end of the meal service. Wasn't worth half the price. Again - would still recommend the restaurant, but stay away from their prix fixe offerings, or if indulging, go early. Or just order off their regular menu.

    I was disappointed with the quality and taste of the food. Lobster risotto was very dry but the waiter swapped it with the butternut bisque which was delicious 🤤. The rolls were dry and hard, they didn’t warm them prior to bringing them to the table. Salmon was good but a bit over cooked and the dessert was dry as well and the whip cream taste flat and had to much fluff. The waiter and the Glos Pinot noir is the reasoning for the overall rating. This makes me upset because I flew across country to be with friends and try out this menu. It was over souled over the phone for sure. They got away with serving people this food because it was thanksgiving and everyone who didn’t cook had limited options

    No cream for coffee, could have offered whipped cream. The breads and stuffing were dry. Waiter could have packed our leftovers . Turkey was from a loaf as opposed to roast turkey . The polenta and chanterelles were delicious as was the pumpkin cheesecake

    The food was unbelievably good! Chef Jason is just absolutely fantastic! We were really surprised to find out that Crú had been there as long as it had, we had never really heard much advertising until recently. The only downside is that you guys really need to dim the lights inside. It’s oddly bright.

    Good food, poor service. Price is ok. Restaurant was not full last night but our entire experience took 2:15 hrs. All we got was a glass of wine, cheese and entrees, and didn't need to tell the waiter to wait or anything. The wine glass for example took an unexplainable amount of time to arrive. There were no check-ins from the waiter as well... I think the food is ok for the price, I liked my filet mignon despite it not coming with the asparagus mentioned on the menu. My wife enjoyed her risotto despite mentioning it was small portion. They were out of Coke. I would not go back however, given how poor the experience was. It has a good atmosphere.

    Eating at Cru was fine but wouldn't go back. The wine flights are well thought out and that was fun. The food was not that great, and the portions weren't what we expected. What we thought would be big was small, and small was big. The restaurant felt dirty. The tables were super sticky. Just underwhelming in every way.

    We dine at Cru often. It never disappoints. Kind of crowded and loud last night but still a great evening. Love all the "shareable" items on the menu. Great wine options and a perfect venue for date night.

    We had a reservation, but they had a big party the same night. They spent all of their attention on the big party and we were treated as an afterthought. No hostess greeted us. There was not a table ready for us. And after they finally figured out that we were supposed to be there and we got a table, the bartender was our waitress. Not a great experience. And while some of that could be forgiven, if you account for maybe the next time there wouldn't be a group. I ordered a pizza and it was flavorless and just not worth it.

    Excellent service whether brunch, lunch or dinner. Exceptional wine flights (it is a wine bar after all) and good pricing. Sunday brunches offer both superb blood orange bellinis as well as a 30% discount on all bottles. Wonderful way to enjoy a Sunday. Food and cheese offerings are all good, the small plates are always good for sharing and trying some of the seasonal wine flights.

    We took my parents for the Sunday Brunch - We enjoyed the Spinach Artichoke appetizer (needs more pita for the amount provided of dip). Two of us ordered the Crab Cake Benedict - the cake itself was a little dry for my taste but very flavorful - next time i would ask to not include the roasted tomato as it took away from the flavor for me, Dad had the slow roasted Short Rib and it was out of this world - we also ordered the Steak but swapped the scrambled eggs for two over easy. The service was exceptional and along with a Carafe of the Peach bellini it was a perfect brunch for the family.

    Consistently excellent… We always sit at the bar and enjoy engaging our bartender in discussions on all the various wines available. No different this time either. Always interesting evening in a busy and energetic place. Great wine choices, friendly, helpful staff. We look forward to returning.

    CRU is a great spot to have some great wine and good appetizers. I was a bit disappointed in the service as the staff seemed to be more interested in chatting with each other and kinda forgot about the customers. We will definitely go back, as it might have been just one of those nights.

    The food was poorly prepared. My date's brussel sprouts were almost uncooked and completely hard in the center. Her salmon was overcooked. One of my scallops was under cooked and my risotto was tasteless. The wine was great.

    My first visit to any CRU location. I liked the wine flight offerings grouped by type/region, but they were delivered to the table with no labels or indication of which wine was which. The cheese fondue was good but the cheese was not hot enough and was delivered to our table with the small candle under the fondue unlit. Overall, the wine and food were good but the restaurant had a neglected air about it; large spiderwebs on the light fixtures, overly warm, no paper towels in the women’s restroom (both when we arrived and over an hour later when we left, despite having told an employee when it was first discovered), mediocre service. I might try a different location but I likely won’t return to this one.

    We left the restaurant at 10:30 to find that the valet personnel had closed the valet station. We were told we would have to come back the next day to pick up our car and we’re forced to get a hotel room since we live in Burnet Texas. Although this is not the restaurant’s responsibility, it is a poor reflection on your establishment and the Domain. This incident ruined what was otherwise a lovely evening at your restaurant.

    Service was terrible, they never came back to actually ask us what wine are we picking after giving us samples. We also had to wait for bread like 15 minutes. Definitely not planning to go back there.

    Most of the food was cold, and the hottest it would be was lukewarm, margherita pizza came out cold and the meatballs too, on top of that they were a bit undercooked the first time. They brought us new meatballs but they were still lukewarm and honestly we were just put off by the first set of meatballs that we ended up just leaving most of the plate there. It was an overall okk restaurant with great waiting staff, I would come again but I would only come for the charcuterie boards and wine flights, those didn’t disappoint:)

    Perfect place for casual dinning. We dined in for Mother’s Day brunch, service was ok, and the chef came over to our table to smooth things over when our experience wasn’t the best. I think that Cru is best enjoyed for lunch or for their wine tastings!!
