   The bartender was knowledgeable, but the whole experience was way overpriced and not special and unique like advertised. We figured we could sit in the i e bar and enjoy a drink. It was pretty much just a big cooler found in any grocery store. The experience lasted maybe 20 minutes, they offer you 3 shots of vodka (they were smooth and thankfully before leaving the meet up area, i had asked for orange juice). Not worth the value, ended up being over 130$ for two people.

   I wasn't entirely sure what to expect but I can definitely tell you it wasn't that. It first started with the bill of over $130.00 which of course a cost is involved. However, there was an automatic gratuity of 18% added to the bill that was written in. When entering the box, it was completely underwhelming. It had an ice table, a couple ice sculptures and an ice wall which was covered with bottles. On the ice table was 6 flights (6 of us were in the room at the same time) and in each flight was 3 different skull head shot glasses. I will admit the host was incredibly knowledgeable but taking 3 shots for that price in 20 minutes with no food and truly no real experience, absolutely, 100%, not worth the price of admission.

   The service was impeccable! Every staff member was extremely kind and accommodating throughout the whole experience. The food was delicious and the wine the server recommended was great! The vodka in the ice bar was delicious and the staff that took us through the whole experience was extremely knowledgeable about the brand. Overall a great experience!

   Unfortunately this was a low point and in an otherwise wonderful stay at the Marriott. The photographs on OpenTable are completely misleading. There are no cocktail options. The experience (which reflects as an hour when booking) is actually under 20mins long. You get 3 shots of very average vodka, the ‘tasting’ consists of - have a shot - this one is more distilled so it’s smoother - have another shot, this one is made with agave so it’s like tequila’ and that’s about it. Oh you also get a cheap bag and a hat you’ll never wear so you can advertise their product for them. They then have the audacity to add an automatic 18% tip to the 3 glasses of $27 shots. Don’t waste your time or money. It is a pity that this disappointing experience is associated with an otherwise excellent resort - it is a disservice to the Marriott Rousseau Lake’s brand.

   Overpriced for what it is the planners for this really need to work on the ice bar experience to make it an actual ice bar as it currently is only a large cooler with some empty vodka bottles as decor not worth the entrance cost

   Overall it didn’t meet expectations. The waiter was hospitable, good guy, dealt with us as important people and tried his best to educate us about the Bar. The bar itself, was poor. Only a table with bottles spread around the wall and ceiling. Compared with same concept in other ice bar, it lacks attractiveness and kept me wandering so what? Therefore, it didn’t worth the money paid at all and will not advice others to try it.

   The overall vibe of the space and experience was not well executed. Staff were nice but there wasn’t any tapas, you didn’t really get to enjoy the space with your group as the host did most of the talking for the 15 minute presentation, you took some pictures, had 3 shots and it was done.

    I would not recommend this experience. I was under the impression we were going to be able to sit down and enjoy 3 drinks while the bar tender talked to us about what we were having. Instead we were led to a small freezer where they gave us 3 shots of vodka in 20 minutes. As soon as we were finished they tried to get us to pay an additional $45 for taxes and service fees… meanwhile my prepayment confirmation stated all charges had been covered. Definitely not worth the money.
