We chose to have our friend's bachelor party dinner at Curryish because we are fans of the restaurant. The entire process of planning the party was super easy and working with Miheer really went the extra mile for us. Everyone loved the food and the entire experience. Can't wait to go there again!

A wonderful meal. Six of us shared six appetizers and five mains. All we’re super-creative… delicious, and not spicy. We skipped dessert because we were full. The dessert choices were much more appetizing than any other Indian restaurant in which we’ve eaten. We’ve had Indian food on five continents, including six Indian states. This was like none other. Small bites, creative sauces, great textural variety. Aside from original takes on dosas, samosas, and pakoras none of the others was like anything we’ve experienced before. We were advised and served by the owner and two others. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant more highly. It is on my list for Bib Gourmand — food of Michelin star quality in a lower key, less fancy setting.

I enjoyed some of the dishes such as the branzino which was good and the stuffed paneer (cheese) and bread. The butter chicken in green sauce was pretty disappointing and very basic- the twist did not work for me. The panipuri with a twist was also a genuine waste of money as its really nothing special and highly overpriced. It was ok for a one time only experience.

A creative and wonderful adaptation of classic Indian cuisine, influenced by French and Italian approaches. Not "fusion" but influence. Also softer less spicey-hot dishes. Lovely dishes as mains also lots of interesting small plates. A great find

Highly recommend a visit to Curryish Tavern. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We tried the green tomato butter chicken, beef cheek curry and the eggplant and peanut curry. I'd definitely return in the near future

What a fun experience! The food was amazing, and staff so kind. The broccoli pakora, tuna pani puri and pork belly appam were delicious. The butter chicken and aloo gnocchi were so different and - wow, so incredible. Save room for dessert, and chai! Chef Shete was very kind and introduced several of the dishes. Definitely recommend!

The menu was so interesting that our party of four couldn't decide, so we asked the owner to bring the dishes he would recommend. And, my goodness, he didn't disappoint! We had an outstanding dinner. Dishes are a creative fusion of Indian and Western cuisine. The servers were amazing - knowledgeable, professional, friendly. If you're looking for a unique food experience in Toronto, this is the place!

What an amazing culinary experience! From creative cocktails to teaser starters to star entrees. We were a group of six that went family style so everyone got to experience the spectrum of tastes. Finally, we spent some time at the end with the chef to learn about his journey and unique approach…which provide some nice context on the why behind the menu choices.

I encourage people to try Curryish Tavern. The creative approach to Indian dishes is commendable. All dishes were well plated. The spices and ingredients are well balanced and delicious. Chef Miheer Shete took the time to talk and explain the creative approach that I agree needs to be more in Indian Cuisine. It’s worth the trip.

The masala tea we initially ordered was cold so we had to order another one. The fish was amazing but the quantities was less. We thought for the price we expected a bit more.

Curryish is a must-do dining experience on Queen West. Miheer (chef/owner) has created an excellent menu of small plates, mains and others, all perfect for sharing. The dishes play off traditional Indian cuisine staples, but far more innaovate and with trendous results. Knowledgeable staff and overall excellent service. Highly recommended.

Loved trying Curryish Tavern for Summerlicious. The flavours were amazing, and my friends and I made sure to coordinate our choices so we could try a bit of everything - I'll be dreaming of their chicken and curry entrée dish for days, it was that good! Service was slow between the appetizers and the main meal, which would be my only down point. The staff were super nice and attentive though and they tried to keep us updated on when the food would come, which helped. Overall, really great and will definitely be back sometime!

Great Indian fusion. Service was attentive and not overbearing. We were given time to enjoy our food and catch up. The pani puri and pork belly was delicious and so nicely presented. I had the beef cheeks and it was perfectly cooked. A great time and would highly recommend it!

Everything is delicious. Prepared with passion and you can tell. The best Indian food you can get in Toronto imo. Lovely room. Not loud so you can have a conversation. Lovely staff.

The food is amazing. The tastes do interesting and the chef-owner Maheer is a great host. It was a bit noisy but otherwise terrific.

The owner and chef of Curryish Tavern greeted us, explained selected dishes, made recommendations and took our order. What he served was amazing Indian dishes - with a twist, like green tomato butter chicken. Service was on point and we all had a wonderful dining experience. Will definitely return.
