   The ambience of the restaurant is beautiful. However, upon arrival we were seated by gracious host. Once seated we were greeted by our waitress and another young lady. The young lady who was not our waitress checked on us through the evening. However, our waitress rarely checked on us. There was no water brought when requested. Additionally, we had to ask for serving utensils on more than one occasion. Also, the food, hoisin teriyaki wings were extremely salty and the bread with the muscles was burnt with char.

   its a very unique restarant with very unique flavors!!!! they have a great happy hour menu with drinks and apps for $10 each. The flavors are so yummy! i ate there 3 times last week :-)

   Menu offerings are unique and delicious. Could have less sugar, though, and more options for less spicy meals. The staff is nice, but disorganized and service was very very slow. If you plan to go to CZEN before a show at Bergen PAC, which is next door, allow a minimum of 1 & 1/2 hours for your meal.

   We were there for Mother's Day and had a wonderful time although the service was a bit off. However, I wanted to go back because the food was so good and I wanted to introduce my son to the restaurant since he was taking me to lunch. The oxtail was not as good as the first time. It tasted like leftover and it wasn't warmed enough so I had to send it back. I was a bit disappointed but overall it wasn't bad.

   Great food, nice ambiance. Service was bad, I think our waiter was new but she seemed overwhelmed and rarely checked on our table when we needed things. (Water, refill, status of food) we had to ask another waiter to bring our water and someone else to bring dessert.

   What a great addition to Englewood. Went for the Happy Hour and the food, drinks and service did not disappoint. Conveniently located to the Bergen PAC and parking. Will definitely recommend.

    Service is always exceptional. The food is out of this world . The bao bao buns and amazing. The dumplings delicious. The escovitch fish outstanding. The scotch bonnet mango margarita delicious. Like I have no complaints. I will go until I have everything on the menu

    Restaurant was cool not too busy!! Good music was playing and waitress was really nice. Had the Crispy Rice, oxtail dumplings, and the fish cakes for appetizers. For my meal I had the garlic shrimp and my girl had the snapper. Food was decent and price was a bit high for the value but overall a decent experience for Caribbean food.

    The servers were great. There were communication issues with the table seating, but they worked it out. Food was not as food as it appeared in the pics. Everything was either too sweet, too salty, too bready or just basic in flavor. Expected more savory, but was disappointed. Best thing was the chips on the table.

    All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! The food was delicious and different than the typical offerings at most restaurants, which makes things more interesting. The only comment I would make is to have more variety in their wine offerings.

    First time at CZEN. Very intrigued about the menu and they fusion within the food. Drinks were nice and strong. Food was amazing and was a great portion. Only thing that made my visit a 4 instead of 5 was because my partner and I were told about a dress code and hats were not allowed. Although, at the time, there were roughly 4 other tables that included individuals with hats, within the time we arrived and finished our meal.

    We were seated in the back room, corner table. Dimly lit with fake tealight candles at each table making it very hard to view the menu. Music level was loud but then was bumped up to a level that prohibited a conversation at the table. Food was very good and the drinks were strong. $12 for a sparkling water!?!

    We've been several times and neither the food, drinks nor service ever disappoint. Everything always tastes delicious and fresh. And we are always warmly welcomed whenever we dine. CZEN is absolutely one of our favorites and a great find in Bergen County!

    Our server Amaya was FANTASTIC, food was subpar for the price. Jerk Wings we’re over cooked, hard, and almost inedible. The Shrimp in the bao bun we’re cooked perfectly but the entire sandwich was underwhelming due to lack of texture and flavor. Our rib eye was over cooked twice after ordering medium/rare. our server was the best part of the experience, she was personable and offered many options with a smile.     Everything was amazing (which it is.) I had the crab and corn chowder and the escovitch fish if they want you to mention specific items. The spicy mango margarita is bomb and the inclusion of scotch bonnet syrup is ingenious. The rum punch was also great.

    Yesterday was my fourth time dining at Czen. It's gotten to the point where the waitress remembers me each time I come in LoL! We came in to celebrate my friend's birthday. We tried the new brunch menu. OMG! So good! We chose the $60 option which comes with an entree and each person gets their choice of their own bottle of either mimosa, bellini, rose champagne or sangria. We had three different flavored wings as an appetizer..all were delish! For the entrees two of my girls had the fried lobster and waffles, one had curry shrimp and grits and I had the red velvet waffle with hot honey chicken. All were sooooo good!! Patrick our waiter was very attentive and kind. The manager stopped by to check on us and even blessed us with some celebratory lemon drop shots. Love this restaurant and definitely will be back in the near future!

    Upon arriving for our reservation we had to wait about 20 min to be seated then our waitress looked like she had a really long day and was over work they brought out our food and appetizer about the same time the food was not hot the rice was clumped Together the passion shrimp was ok but had a lot of seasoning to much pimento and black pepper it tasted more like jerk shrimp i probably won’t be returning to CZEN again
