Very good new restaurant in SilverStar village. Varied wine list and menu. We shared the grilled calamari and family style Caesar salad. Both were delicious. We shared the papardelle (delicious) and spaghetti con Gamberi (nice kick to it). We tried all 3 desserts and our favourite was the lemon-ricotta zeppole. Will definitely be back.

Food was overpriced and bland. Ordered the duck breast main but came as a salad. Tried to give constructive advice to list it as a salad and was met with the most ridiculous immature response from our waiter. Then they tried to refuse our silver star gift card after I had already confirmed we could use it at that restaurant. Service before that was OK until a few more tables came in and we were completely forgotten about. Disappointing that this is the “elevated” dining option. Too bad because it’s cute and intimate inside but couldn’t pay me to go back.

We had all the seafood choices - the trout and crudo for appetiser and the brodecco for main. We had the Syrah by the glass The food and wine was delicious, top quality, great flavours, the chef has put a great deal of work into the menu - and the service was great. ( Our only feedback is to slow down the pace of getting customers in and out - the restaurant wasn’t busy and it would have been nice if we could have lingered a little longer over food and the Syrah. A high end dining experience is about the food, wine and spending time to pause and enjoy everything a while.)

This was our 2nd visit in two weeks, some menu items not available both times, service ok but more attention to detail required, we cancelled our next reservation, due to incomplete menu, which is a shame as the ambience is fantastic watching the snow falling & the snow ploughs working!

We have been going to the Silver Grill at least once per ski trip to Silver Star over the past decade. I would normally rate the food as 5 star but three of us ordered the duck main course. It was more of a duck salad and the menu did not adequately describe it as such. The quality was excellent but not what we expected. In the past, the duck breast has always been excellent. So, my criticism is what was written on the menu. The other three people dining with us were satisfied with their meals. We do recommend The Silver Grill and will continue to dine there when we visit Silver Star. However, this time we were a bit disappointed.

Food was delicious. This is the fine-dining option for restaurants in the Silver Star Mountain Village. We went for an anniversary and was hoping to enjoy some good conversation, but unfortunately we coupd barely hear each other. It would be great if the ambiance could be improved a bit, it was very noisy - maybe some acoustic panels, or by not allowing very big groups?

We ordered the butterfly trout which was delicious and a lovely appetizer to split between two hungry people post skiing. We also ordered two mains to share; the Duck endive salad and the tenderloin. Both were delicious but the super star was for sure the tenderloin as it was salty and a bit sweet while it practically melted in the mouth. Both the Jaffa Pave and the donuts were delicious, however we would more readily order the donuts again. And last but most certainly not least, Marco the restaurant manager was personable and professional all at once. He offered prompt service that wasn’t intrusive at any point. We had a lovely night out, thank you.

We booked a table for 4 on Open Tables. Got the worst table near the kitchen while another table near the fireplace went unoccupied. The pot light from the kitchen flared into the eyes of 2 of us diners. The staff of the restaurant should be seated here not in the centre of the restaurant!! This was a Wine Pairing Menu. While we’d like to really support local wines the meal was absolutely the worst. 2 courses looked and tasted identical. The pork belly and the duck. Dessert was equally abominable. And the cost of this endeavour was shocking. I’ve attended such a dinner before. That was costly but worth it as the wine pourings were not as poor. As a result of this experience I have cancelled my upcoming reservation for 6

This is a good fine dining experience in the resort. It is very central within the village and is within walking distance of most of the Silver Star accommodations. We had a party of six and the service was attentive without being obtrusive. The food was very good and they have a reasonably priced wine list.

I wrote that this was a birthday celebration. No acknowledgement of this was made by the restaurant staff. I also requested a window table which was a surprise to the staff on our arrival and was only provided (but on the non-scenic side of the dining room) because I made a very strong objection when we were invited to sit elsewhere. The food which is normally excellent was only mediocre. The lamb shoulder which was a substitution because the featured dish was already sold out by 7:00 pm, was tough and stringy. The service, however, was on time and excellent. I would recommend this restaurant with reservations.

The service was excellent. The room isn’t what I’d call typical fine dining. It kind of felt like an add-on and heading through the town hall for the washroom isn’t ideal. The menu is okay but heavily seafood based, which isn’t great if you don’t love seafood, however the food we ordered was delicious.

Our food was fabulous - beautiful presentation, nice portions and great flavour. We were treating friends to dinner and thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. A small dining room were you can converse easily with one another while enjoying a great meal.
