   The patio is a hidden gem in the city! Fantastic food, the red crab/frisée salade was amazing. The chopped spot prawn/tuna layer was delicate and really let the spots shine… Fabulous, we’ll be back!!!

   Absolutely awful. I booked a patio table specifically, however, when I got there the patio was sectioned off for a private event. A majority of the restaurants was also sectioned off the the event so there was basically 4 tables for reso/walk in guests in a quiet corner. My drink tasted watered down and the staff were snotty and super unaccommodating. I now see why my friends were pushing for somewhere else, I should have listened. Won’t be coming back or recommending to anyone. In the future, don’t allow people to book patio tables if they are already booked.

   Service was very slow, we waited more than 40 mins for our drinks only to be told the bar forgot to make them. Food was mediocre at best and online menu is very different than their actual menu. Its good to come have drinks from the bar but dont recommend sit down service here at all.

    Server took a long time when needed. We ordered a bottle of wine the server didn’t know how to open a corked bottle of wine and was having difficulty ended up getting the cork in my glass and I asked for another glass however she never asked to bring me a new glass of wine. Whenever we needed her she wasn’t around it was during happy hour. Atmosphere was nice *EDIT the GM messaged me on here asking for more details of what happened since this is not the standard for D6. I ended up sending him a long email with his reply being a basic Google reviews one saying “oh we will train people better and do better” pretty much and “sorry”, “thanks for the input”. Did not do anything to rectify the situation.

    I really enjoyed my time at D6 mostly because of my server . I believe her name was Jenn. She is amazing server with so much love and compassion! She recommended my drink which was super tasty . Thank you I will be back soon!

    Had the best time of my life this last weekend at D6. The staff were so accommodating and the manager very generously extended our reservation so we could stay longer in a seated section. My plan was to stay for a few hours but the DJ was phenomenal and the vibe was amazing. We ended up staying for an extended period of time. Looking forward to going back in the near future.

    We enjoyed it so much we went two nights in a row. We requested Jen as our server as we have now gotten to know the service she provides is top notch. Music was great last night as well at 5pm. See you next time we are in town. We are in our late 40's and didn't feel out of place as it is suitable for all adult ages.

    We come here everytime we stay at Parq or Douglas. Service from Jen is top notch, drinks are great plus the sushi and chicken tenders are must haves. The atmosphere is hip and relaxed. Happy hour is a fantastic deal. See you next time D6

    Thursday night date night with my wife after the Canucks game. DJ was great, felt like we had place to ourselves on nice comfy couches with drinks flowing and dj playing a good mix of tunes, old and new. It started getting busier after 11pm. Highly recommended!

    Place has lost its Lustre and appeal. The service was not great. Although we had a table, we were not served or acknowledged. A bit rude. Had to go to bar to serve ourselves. You should remember your guests matter.

    Unfortunately, I went to D6 last night with my friends and had reserved a table for 7 people. But they gave us a table for 4 people, they said you have to leave by 11:30 and they said we don't have a table, we are full , if you are full, you shouldn't disrespect the customer and accept the reservation request. I had invited my friends and I’m really ashamed

    It was our first time at the lounge. It was nice but the seating by the pool table with the small stools was uncomfortable. We played pool which was fun! We didn’t eat just had drinks which were good and the service was decent.

    Eventhough we have a reservation for 7, and We showed up as 3 women at 9:20 pm (it was not even crowded at all), we were treated as we were trying to sneak in by the bodyguards at the entrance. It was totally bit welcoming. And dj performance was on average. I believe such a great bar should have a better music with a better dj. The music selections and the transitions were poor. The service was good, but our drinks were collected when we were dancing, and they were almost full.

    The lounge space and ambience is the only thing that's really good for this venue. The biggest turn-off is the 2-hour limit for bookings, which is ridiculous for a bar/lounge or social setting. I can understand a 2-hour limit for a restaurant that serves a proper dinner; but for this setting the 2-hour limit just doesn't make sense, and I'm sure it does more damage to the bottom line than good, but that's for the management to figure out. The other two issues are a dearth of selection for drinks and cocktails, and the general quality of cocktails, given the exorbitant pricing. And of course the food menu is very limited and the quality is lacklustre at best.

    Food portions are small and price is big, if you’re going for just food you’re better off staying at home, but the drinks are great, staff are very nice and helpful, and the ambiance is a nice night out type of thing. Loud AF tho.

    Our second time here and again it was top notch. My husband and I stayed at The Douglas over Christmas and enjoyed D6 so much on our last visit we booked it again. Our meal consisted of some sushi rolls and their famous chicken tenders (best we have ever had and highly recommend), Jen was our server and was fabulous, the atmosphere was upscale lounge with a great vibe. We can't fault D6 on anything and will return when in Vancouver again.

    Too noisy, lack of attention to the client, and misleading information. The covered patio was supposed to be opened and we asked for the table there. When we arrived it was not available. Some tables, we were told were reserved although we did not see a sign on the table. I am not sure if I go there again.

    Not worth the headache. Avoid if going to an event. This place is chaos, staff are unhelpful, food is basic at best and crappy at worst, reservation was confirmed and still had issues with not having a properly sized table, server charged us full price instead of happy hour and we almost missed the start of a $300 concert because she couldn’t get it sorted out efficiently.     They didn’t seem prepared for the customer volume pre-Elton concert. Which is understandable, but we had hoped a reservation would have gotten us seated rather than having to beg the bartender to make us our round while we waited. That said, it happens. Beautiful space, good drinks. The food was underwhelming… portions were small, un exciting presentation. But the drinks were great, the service and support staff were wonderful.     The service was extremely poor. Very long wait for drinks (15-20 min). When our food came we only got half the order and no one checked to see how the food was or gave us an opportunity to say some of the order was missing. When we were finally able to tell them, the response was “ok we won’t charge you” even though we were still hungry.
