    Went with a friend for catch up meal. Having been to Corrigans expected similar quality. Sadly disappointing! We ordered the shared rib and had to send back twice as was under done, fatty and gristly. We complained and got presented with free deserts we didn’t want. Eventually got complementary glass of wine. NOT what we expected and will not be going back or recommending.

    my 4th time at the restaurant and worst experience yet. staff were distracted and service slow. the chili chicken starter was good as usual. however, the sweet breads were slimy and poorly executed. steak was served warm at best and dry with lack of flavor. starters arrived before my glass of wine.

    This was our first visit. It was broadly what we expected and the food was decent, without being outstanding in any way. Two comments: the design of the forks is awful - very hard to grip properly, or get any purchase when trying to cut something. Secondly, the food was very salty - not just one or two dishes, but many items we ordered (and we are both salt lovers and tend to add salt more often than not). One other comment: the tables are very close together and the tables for two are tiny - both these things are getting more common these days which really detracts from having a relaxed meal with someone without hearing everything being said on the adjoining tables; and with the modern desire to always offer sharing plates, it becomes a real challenge when all the food appears at the same time - either get larger tables or teach the chefs to stagger the small plates !

    Solo dining - so sat at the counter. Usually eating dinner alone I'm done in 90min or so, but I was having such a good time and the food was delicious so I spent the best part of 3 hours in here! The chefs were friendly and chatty, explaining what the dishes were as they went out, and Richie (who looked after me) made me feel very welcome. Bonus - it's so close to where I live I can see myself spending a lot of time here!

    I was so hopeful based on the reviews but unfortunately the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. I had the sole which was uneventful really, but my son had lamb chops which he seemed to enjoy. The apple dessert was not terribly exciting either. The ambience however was great. A mixed bag....

    We were greeted well on arrival by polite friendly staff. This continued throughout the evening, the staff are excellent providing an excellent service. Our meal was delicious, the sharing plates to start with were fresh tasting, so good. We had a special from the board for our main course, the Brill was one of the best fish courses we have eaten. We really enjoyed a wonderful evening at Daffodil Mulligan, we shall be returning. Thank you all at Daffys.

    Really good during the day. Love the food. My only issue is the noise level in the evening which is too high and difficult to talk over. The staff are fantasitic, especially the maitre d'

    Had an absolutely smashing meal here and the staff were fantastic. Big thanks to the lady that looked after us you were great and sorry I didn’t ask for your name. Food wise the crab fregola was so good we ordered it twice but genuinely everything was fantastic.

    Absolutely fantastic and truly memorable original food using the most wonderful flavour combinations and the very, very best of fresh ingredients. It really was an absolutely first rate meal and I cannot wait to return. The beetroot starter and bass ceviche were devine! The lobster was succulent and full of flavour, and the beef - THE BEEF !! - well, it was beyond any superlatives I can come up with - tender, full of flavour and quite simply delicious! All of the trimmings were amazing too - some of the best triple cooked chips I've ever had and the broccoli had been prepared with such care, with flavours, textures and the whole visual experience in mind - yum! The ambience was so convivial and it was wonderful to be able to watch the chefs at work under the direct supervision of Richard Corrigan himself, who was friendly and approachable throughout our wonderful evening where we were lucky enough to sit right by the kitchen and get a ring-side view! Thank you Daffodil Mulligan. We'll be back!

    I took my partner here for a birthday lunch, and we had a fab time. The staff are incredibly thoughtful and kind and the food excellent. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

    Friendly service. Were happy to provide an alternative for one of our party with food intolerance (we had the sharing menu). it was a great opportunity to try different menu items. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed the lunch. Thank you Daffodil Mulligan.

    The perfect way to brighten up a rainy windy Monday lunchtime. Food was incredible, the mash is to die for and I'll definitely be coming back for more of that! Service was friendly and attentive. Great environment and a lovely feel to it.

    Great food, I thought the wine was expensive and actually overpriced (I work in the wine trade). The food was great apart from the oysters, they were badly shucked and seemingly poor quality. Everything else was great though

    Excellent food - printed menu with some specials on a blackboard. Very tasty food - Irish inspired cuisine. The whipped cod roe with an aperitif is a must. Range of small plates as well as larger mains - we had the venison pie for two which was fantastic. Didn’t try desserts as we had eaten too much by that point. We were at the hightop seating- thought this would be a counter where we’d be sat side by sauce, however very pleased to discover these were high bar-style tables where we could sit across from each other.

    Can't wait to go back, a fabulous experience. Great atmosphere and vibe, friendly service and really amazing food. The mackerel was the freshest I have ever tasted, the beef tartare was exceptional. Went downstairs after dinner for some live music and drinks. Perfect Saturday evening.

    We went to Daffodil Mulligans for Valentines weekend. As I’m Irish and my husband is English I’ll take any excuse to go to an Irish establishment! We had the Chilli chicken starter and the Iberico Ham starter - both good in size and flavour. For mains my husband had the steak with chimichurri and I had the half lobster with kimchi. The lobster was cooked perfectly, and the butter it was served in was flavoursome. However, while I like lobster and love kimchi, I personally didn’t love the two together - but that’s a personal preference. For dessert I had the Almond and Bergamot sandwich - which was lovely, a different style of dessert. My husband had a cognac called Apple on barrel and it was delicious. We finished with some Guinness downstairs in the lovely Snug in the pub. Overall a lovely Irish feel to the restaurant, and the menu is different and exciting. We would recommend and definitely return.

    Really good food and atmosphere, the valentines tasting menu was a bit steep though at 75 pounds per person and staff seemed rushed off their feet with a full restaurant , but lovely evening overall and would definitely go back and order a la carte.

    Let themselves down with a poor greeting/ welcome and subsequent interactions with the maitre d initially. However he did take the opportunity to rectify this, after I had made my feelings known, with complimentary champagne. The wider group of staff from the food servers to the wine server really made us feel welcome so my advice would be to persevere for a great night in a warm atmosphere. Good grub and good vibe overall. I’d recommend this place

    A warm welcome and excellent service throughout. A wide ranging menu that had a number of options we could have chosen. Doreen had cods roe - an unusual dish these days, whilst I enjoyed the venison sausages. We shared a mackerel for mains. The most delicious mackerel ever. We both loved our desserts - cheese and cake. And a fine coffee to finish off. A good price for food of this excellent quality. We will be back
