    Absolutely lush. We did the tasting menu and it was SO MUCH food, but it was all really well done and we had some amazing bites I'm still thinking about. The service was honestly some of the best I've ever experienced. Exactly the right level of helpful and letting you get on with your meal. Cocktails were inventive and very good - recommend the ginger and rose fizz!

    Service was terrific from our server Mercedes and all the staff that tended to our meal and the endless supply of water. The menu was explained when asked and the food arrived on a timely basis despite the completely full restaurant. We had the lentil soup and followed that with the Mediterranean sea bass and Fattet Mozat lamb shank from the Syrian specialty part of the menu. We loved it all and were stuffed from the big plates of food. The price was fair given everything above and I would encourage everybody visiting Montreal to go - but get your reservation in months ahead.

    The food was great as it was my first time but I felt that the service was not well coordinated. I did the tasting course with my wife and I opted for the wine pairing. The wine was served well ahead of the courses, to the point where it was probably 10min before the food was served. The pours were light, for $120 pairing, too. Just didn’t ’feel the love’.

    A big thank you for Mr. Fouad for the hospitality and attention he showed us. The tasting menu was mind blowing. The service was outstanding. Everything was really amazing. Our favorite spot in Montreal hands down.

    Damas is one of the best restaurants I have ever experienced, and it would have multiple Michelin stars if located in New York or San Francisco. Always superb, every dish is memorably outstanding, and it actually motivates me to book a trip to Montreal.

    Our waitress and hostess were so sweet, they went above and beyond to make our birthday dinner special. Food was amazing, the duck is 10/10. Beautiful restaurant, clean and wonderful ambience. The best part of my trip was coming here. Can't wait to return!

    Don’t think and just go here!! The exquisite taste, great portion sizes for what you order, steaming hot fresh ingredients.. and that’s just the food! The Cheese Borek and Kunafa dessert were outstanding and my favorites!! The ambience of the restaurant is beautiful and classy. Noise levels were moderate. Temperature at a perfect degree, perfect for getting cozy. From the hosts and bartender, to the food runners, every staff member was attentive and friendly. A special shoutout to my server Alice who was very knowledgeable on the menu items, incredibly helpful with picking out what to eat, and a great conversationalist. My first time in Montréal and definitely not my last because I’ll book a flight just for this place alone!

    Oh Damas I miss you already. Celebrated our 35th anniversary in Montreal and as a treat we went to Damas. Loved the atmosphere. Not a quiet place but it’s just as I would prefer. Had to have the tasting menu and was thoroughly satisfied. That wrapped shrimp on white purée was to die for! The tasting menu has around 11 or 12 samples and it was more than enough if not too much to sample, but they were all delicious! Though it was pricey I would definitely do it again. I’ll be recommending this place to a few people. See you on my return to Montreal! Cheers
