This was a truly memorable dinner and I wish I lived in Montreal. The drinks were great and the food was absolutely amazing. The eggplant salad was phenomenal, best we've ever had. This is a must visit restaurant.

We’ve been trying to book for my fiancé’s birthday for 3 years now and every year we were too late to reserve. It’s always full and we can now finally see why! The food was incredible. Unfortunately I do not consume lamb, and because of this we were not able to get the meat tasting menu (you have to be 2 eating the same tasting menu), but the pescatarian tasting menu was SO worth it. Their team even went above and beyond to prepare a lamb chop special for my fiancé which they did not charge us for just so he could taste the red meat. It was a great birthday for him and a superb experience for the both of us. Thank you!

Comme à l’habitude, le personnel du Damas se surpasse pour nous faire vivre une expérience culinaire extraordinaire. Notre serveur Abboud était sympathique, dynamique et nous a très bien conseillé sur le menu. Le Damas est un incontournable dans notre famille lorsque vient le moment de souligner un événement spécial. Encore une fois, il nous a enchanté. Longue vie au Damas!

Ce restaurant a déjà été exceptionnel. Seuls les prix le sont demeurés. Bonne nourriture sans plus, service correct sans plus, prix exagérés. La seule chose sur laquelle je n’ai rien à redire c’est la décoration, c’est très joli.

The food was great, the table we got was probably the worst in the restaurant and the reservations was made weeks in advance. Our waiter forgot part of our order and did not offer any exceptional service. The food was very good and we would go back for the food and hopefully ask for a better spot in the restaurant.

Nous avons commander un menu dégustation pour 2 personnes. Acceuil très familiale. Repas exceptionnellement savoureux, très belle présentation des plats. Explication de chacun des plats très apprécié. Service et attention de l'ensemble du personnel à la hauteur d'un très grand restaurant. Ce restaurant fait désormais parti de mieux coup de coeur. On va revenir vous voir certainement.

The food was excellent but the service lacked. We were interrupted constantly to ask if they could take our plates away when we still have food left. They spilled wine when pouring and splashed our cocktails on the table. With the prices you spay, I expected much better service

Did the pescatarian tasting menu, for 3 people plus a total of 4 cocktails. All said and done it was over 700 dollars. For the price point, the service was good, but the food was pretty standard Levantine faire, the two fish courses were presented beautifully but maybe due to the inconsistencies between the size between the pieces the quality wasn’t consistent. All in all it felt like an upgrade in presentation and service but not food. The explanations for each course seemed firmly routed in introducing very normal ingredients like labneh but not really creating a narrative or any why or wow in regards to the meal. The highlight of the meal was the mushrooms with hummus and the hibiscus cocktail. Would return for cocktails and a snack but would steer clear of returning for a full meal again.

First time there and definitely not the last - we will travel from Toronto to Montreal just to go to Damas.....everything was impeccable! Now if they could only open a Damas restaurant here in Toronto! Our servers were amazing - best customer service by far in a very long time - it was so nice and we felt at home right from the beginning! LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!

Bourbon Ice tea and Syrian wine were delicious. Can’t remember our servers name, but he was knowledgeable and friendly and made great suggestions based off our questions. Not one thing was bad or even mediocre. Lamb Friki-fantastic, halloumi-outstanding, octopus salad was so flavorful and tender, the fattoush was maybe the best I’ve ever had. Sorry we had no room for dessert, but that gives us another reason to return. We would come back to Montreal just to eat here!

Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable. The appetizers we got were delicious. Unfortunately, she had half the restaurant to serve and forgot our main course. The manager came over to apologize but didn't even offer a dessert on the house. Left hungry and disappointed.

Food was outstanding - we had the tasting menu. Service was excellent and our bartender was affable, and has us try some of his incredible concoctions. We were there for a wedding anniversary. Our only limitation in returning is the difficulty in obtaining reservations.
