Beautiful restaurant with overall good service. Food requires more attention. Two out of five dishes were considerably under expectations. The bone marrow dish was very disappointing with two bones without any marrow. Tuna stake was heavily over cooked. Mentioned to the waiter about the disappointing bone marrow dishe. It was still on the bill and no attention from the manager. Cocktails were great. If restaurant would pay greater attention towards the quality of their dishes leaving the kitchen, it could be great place but its not yet.

I went to Daphne for my birthday and I would, a thousand times over, recommend Daphne to everyone! Our Server Thomas was soo nice and made the best recommendations. His humour and knowledge made us feel like a big group of besties! The food was AMAZING and served beautifully! A shout out to Josh as well for being amazing! Can’t wait to go back!

Last minute lunch booking and so very pleased I chose here. My waiter was French and really great pleasingly knew what a blue steak looked like. Brussels sprouts were amazing, whoever thought they would hear that. Would go again in a minute

Outstanding server. room was WAY TOO LOUD could barely hear ourselves speak. Space is lovely, well designed. Food was average tasting, nothing special and pretty pricey but that comes with location.

We felt like we had walked into NYC when we entered the space. The atmosphere was amazing and the service was excellent. The seating was comfortable and elegant and felt so easy vs sitting at a standard table with chairs. The space was designed and executed so well and the open kitchen, watching the inner workings and skilled staff was an experience. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Great evening! I had called earlier in the day to advise I would be running late. They made a note of it. An hour before my reservation, I got a call from the hostess inquiring if I am still going to make my reservation, I confirmed again and mentioned traffic delay so would be running 20 minutes late. I was informed another party was coming in at 8:15 pm so if I wanted to maybe go somewhere else for dinner. I told them I would still be coming. From my arrival, it was mentioned an additional 3 times by the hostess at the front about the cut off time. I was put off at this point. Our waiter and the drink staff were fantastic! Initially we were rushing to finish our meal. Our waiter kindly told us we did not need to rush. We finished around 9:00 pm and Stayed to take some selfies and grab a cocktail at the back. Our table was still empty when we left the restaurant. I can understand being given a friendly reminder once, even twice. But the 4th reminder really put me off! Great restaurant! Great vibe and ambiance! GREAT VALUE!

For the price I would expect service at the entrance. Stood there for 10 minutes and then finally found my own party. No one ever asked about my coat when I arrived. We were asked to leave as our table was out of time. But no warning of that. In fact the waiter took my order for tea but didn’t give us enough time to drink it. The quality didn’t live up to the price. Wouldn’t go back.

Great experience at Daphnes (Wednesday night). It was busy, energetic but the service was smooth and we didnt find ourselves waiting too long for drinks or food. It was loud but definitely enjoyable for a social night. Wouldnt necessarily book for a business meeting.

An absolutely stunning restaurant. I will go back although the food was not great. My scrambled eggs were over cooked, the hash browns they raved about were terrible, soggy and lacked salt, the coffee was bad, but the ambience and service were impeccable. This restaurant has so much potential, I hope they change the menu to make the food match the beauty of the building.

This is literally the worst way to try to spend your Saturday night, even with a reservation they only allocate you 1 hour to eat. So you are paying a premium for speed eating mediocre food surrounded by interior design lifted from a bad 90’s movie. Enjoy!

Cauliflower was a little raw. Service needs to be elevated (this might be a Toronto thing) places like New York Miami far exceeded us .. Went to Sofias for pre drinks same thing there. Decor is top notch!

I went to Daphne for the first time last night for a business dinner. The place was very energetic and it's definitely the "it spot" right now. Service was friendly and quick and I had the salmon which was well prepared and tasty. Good portion too. You'll like it.

Ambience was okay. The bar was understated. The service was poor. Offered one drink and then never came back. We would have likely ordered more but couldn’t get her to come back. Had to be reminded once about a glass of wine. Apps were fair, oysters were okay but she was not sure where they were from and so we ordered anyways and didn’t end up liking one of the pairings. Bone marrow - lacked marrow Pasta was good but very spicy. Overall not a great experience. Service was very poor and while I am happy to pay for a quality meal this one was sub par and disappointing for the hours drive to come here.

Second time at Daphne. Love the cocktails and even the mocktails. Haven’t had a bad drink there. The ambiance is one of the best in the city. I love the look and feel of this restaurant. The food is also really good. We ordered the east coast lobsters, bread, branzino, haricots, truffle baked potato and coconut cream pie. All was delicious but the haricots stole the show for me! I don’t even like green beans but these are to die for!!! The beans themselves were crisp and the sauce was delicious. Fish was cooked to perfection.

The service is amazing, the servers are so nice and the waiter that attended to us was amazing, the ambience is beautiful as well. However the food can be better, the presentation is pretty but the taste doesn’t meet up to standard, I tried to give it a second chance, I tried dinner a couple weeks ago and was disappointed, and the brunch disappointed again taste wise. French toast is amazing however.
