Notre table était au sous sol, isolé de tous les autres et directement à l'entrée des escaliers. Par conséquent, nous avions eu le courant froid de la porte d'entrée qui était constamment ouverte. Nous avons gelé toute la soirée dans une ambiance de sous sol isolé. Dommage. Serveuse très gentille, bon menu.

This was actually my 1st time at this Darcy McGees location, but my husband had been here several times before. I love the decor and the area we were sat in. It was a quiet Tuesday for Halloween so it wasn’t busy. Our server Alex was awesome and gave us a great night before we went on the Haunted Walks tour next door. Food was great (I had bratwurst and mashed potatoes, hubby had chicken burger and fries)and I actually had room for dessert which I almost never have room for when I eat out. Thank you

Our server was excellent and food good and quick (which was important as we had a show to go to). My only "feedback" is that I had picked something from the "OpenTable" menu when I made the reservation which was not on the actual menu ... So that should be updated. I 100% will go back.

Service, ambiance, food and drink were excellent. Irish Pub with a broad selection of food and cocktails, wine, beer. Light lunch of calamari and Yorkshire pudding cups with shepherds pie filling were both so good we’re heading back again the next day.

Decent pub food in a location very convenient to the centre of Ottawa. Good selection of beers. A bit on the noisy side, as one would expect but tolerable.

Service was outstanding. Food was good - my beef and mushroom pie was a bit too salty and my friend had the fish tacos and she was very pleased. Overall a great experience and we'll be back.

They meal I had looked nothing like the last time I ordered it a few months ago. And the high top tables are too high for the chairs provided. My food was above chest level.

We came before an event at the NAC with an early reservation and good thing we had a reservation! The place was full… we were shown to our table and Abby our server was great, she took our drink order and then came back for the food order. The food was very good and was served quickly so we didn’t worry about being late for our show.

Great Ottawa Pub! The service was fast and the staff were professional and personable. I stopped in for lunch and had the wings and crispy calamari. Both were perfectly prepared and the calamari was one of the best I’ve had. They were very tender and meaty. This is a great place to hang out and have a perfect dinning experience in downtown Ottawa!

The server was great. The place was packed and she checked in and provided updates when things were taking a bit longer. Food wise, it was ok. I got the steak and sweet potato fries. The steak was a bit more cooked then asked for but the fries were really good. I used a gift card so I wasn’t out anything, but the meal of steak and sweet potato fries with one beer would have been 50 bucks. I guess that’s downtown pricing these days. I thought it was a bit pricey for the serving.

Service was amazing! Friendly, timely and very helpful. Food was fantastic. Had the dry ribs as an app then the chicken and leek pot pie. To die for! Would definitely recommend. Will be sure to go again, when in town.

My wife loved her fish and chips. The fish tacos I had actually have more fish than lettuce in them (unlike some other restaurants I have gotten them from). Our server was excellent.

Server was good but our worked..she had too many tables...drinks and appetizers cane quickly..but waited 30 minutes before waitress came to take orders for main course, then waited another 15 min for food to arrive..got there at 6pm...had to eat fast cause food came at 730pm and we had NAC tickets for 8pm..not sure if I woul go back..although food was very good

I always enjoy paying a visit here whenever I am in Ottawa. One criticism: The small main floor room closest to Elgin Street is far too hot. This has been the case on two separate occasions (March 2022 and late April 2023). Once the room has become full it becomes quite uncomfortable - especially while eating. Ask to be seated elsewhere.

I made a reservation and when I arrived at the time of my reservation There was no table assign to me She was searching the all place for finding me a table The couple in front of me in thé waiting line had no reservation but they were given the best table in front of the window Why make a reservation ????

The Chicken Club was really good but my friend had a lack luster Cobb Salad and my husband had the Mushroom burger with Caramelized Onions and could not find any caramelized onions. Wouldn't take much to improve these items to be able to give it a 5 Star rating.

Wonderful experience! We were going to a show at the NAC that evening. We were greeted by our server Dale. He took us to a lovely table. Asked us immediately if we were going to the NAC. I appreciated him asking that because we did not feel rushed during the entire time. The food was great, reasonable prices and great pub atmosphere

The seafood pasta was not great. The linguini was stuck together and the sauce was tasteless. My husband ordered a cheeseburger and got a burger covered with a cheese sauce that was cold, really messy to eat and not what he expected.

We had an amazing meal, I look forward to dinning ate D’Arcy McGees again. The food was piping hot, the flavours were spot on. Reminded me of the steak pies I ate in London and Edinburgh UK.
