   Great service and the menu (and kitchen) has really developed since the restaurant opened. A real gem hidden on the lesser known side of Whyte Ave.

   The food was good. I like that it's locally sourced. The patio is nice although a little noisy with Whyte Ave traffic. Jess, our server, was excellent and friendly.

   Mellissa (?) was amazing- came in for date night with my wife. We're foodies and love sharing tapas style when dining out. Fresh Oysters- very good- the minionette very unique and tasty- Pork belly Wow, Carpaccio Double WOW, and croquettes very good as well. Especially love the eclectic wine selection- not the norms most places have, a real treat to try some new vintages. Excellent service from all the staff- really nice room and great patio- a little loud but not over the top. We loved it and will be back!

   1st Time to Darling! At 1st I was fairly put off that there is no phone number to contact the location. All reservations, changes etc. must be made thru the reservation widget, annoying. The ambience is quite lovely. Clean, streamlined, well organized. Greeting at the door was prompt and friendly. I was the 1st of the party of 5 to arrive. As I waited for the remains guests to arrive, the server (very new) did not offer me a beverage aside from pouring tap water. I had to catch their eye as they were walking past to request an additional beverage, unfortunately this was the same for all of us as we arrived (it was not busy). Once the entire party arrived we had to grab the servers attention to order. We cued several times. stating that we were starving. The server offered to tell us about the feature of the evening. When asked what a specific ingredient was (was not familiar with what it was) they too seemed perplexed and referred to the mystery ingredient as "A little something the Chef adds" ..hmm? We realized that the server was brand spanking new. Note to ownership, service staff should not hit the floor without having a full understanding of what is on the menu and how to explain it. When I ordered the cucumber salad and it is described as Pistachio & mint vinaigrette, pickled shiitake mushroom & chilli crisp, one may be led to believe that the salad included bits of pistachio, sliced mint, pickled mushrooms & a chilli crisp on a bed of cucumbers. I was disappointed when I found one smidgen of a pickled mushroom (the size of my baby fingernail), no pistachios, no chilli crips nor any mint to be found. All be that the tell tale items of the salad were missing, the flavour profile was good. I was hoping for more. I did not "ask" the server as we were all very hungry and I truly did not want to wait any longer. Overall, it was good. Would I try it again? I will try brunch out as it looks lovely, hopefully the items noted on the descriptor are present
