Everything was perfect. Safety protocols, service, food, drinks, ambience. Perfection from start to finish.
I had a nice time, will definitely come back there but, for the karaoke. Thanks
Service was amazing! Quality of the food was great but I found the chicken noodle dish filled with too many vegetables. The veggies were all I tasted and barely the chicken flavor! Overall amazing experience!
Fantastic food, great service but minimal atmosphere due to Covid-19.
The food & atmosphere are amazing. Would definitely recommend!
Lovely place. Nice food & great service would go again
Great food, outstanding service - everything came out so fast!
Everything was delicious. Decor is really nice. Will go back for sure.
Food, atmosphere and value are excellent!
Had a great time! We were 6 people and ordered 8 dishes for sharing (suggest doing at least one rice and one noodle dish as the main dishes and then a couple of other shareable items). All of the menu items are worth the value and very tasty. Great service, loved the ambiance. Will definitely be going back and highly recommend.
We made the reservation with the birthday specified but nothing was done by the restaurant as it was for other patrons but we still enjoyed the experience
Everything was fantastic except for the real small portion
Food was amazing no complaints
Absolute delight. Highly recommended. Staff is second to none.
The menu is overprice, less choices. Focus on taste not just presentation
Everything in this place is just unbelievable, the food, the deco, the personal.. wow I have no words for this place Love it
Dasha's decor is pretty typical of a trending asian place. Reservation during COVID time takes a few weeks but we got a nice table and the service is good. As we are Chinese ourselves, we tend to find westernised Chinese food a bit disappointing. So we forgot some of the more popular items on the menu and went with the seasonable offerings. We ordered oysters with some unique sauces such as wasabi mayo and sarachi mayo. The oysters were fresh and tasty with/without the sauces. We also had salmon sashimi which was excellent with soya, child and pineapple which offers a very nice flavor mix. We could go for seconds on this dish for sure. We also had Peking Duck which was good. Wish there were a few more pancakes for the wrapping of the duck. Fried noodles was a little on the greasy side so I would not order again.
Inside the restaurant is very nice looking, although I did expect the restaurant to be busier. I went at 7pm and it was pretty much empty. Food was actually terrible. Did not enjoy and will not be returning.
Everything was amazing! Food, our server Amanda, Ambience and overall pleased with everything! Definitely will be going back!
Really bad overpriced Chinese food. It was pretty empty inside.
It was my daughters 21st birthday.
Very good service and food was also very good. Prices are a bit high given portions. Drink list also very good.
Covid precautions are taken, must wear mask when entering the restaurant or walking around to use bathrooms. Tables are spaced out. Staff are very nice.
Great Japanese experience overall, I’ve definitely been to other restaurants that are better. There’s no wow factor about this restaurant.
We wanted to be seated indoors but were ignored and told to seat outside despite having tables available indoors. Service was slow and disorganized. Food didn’t turn out so great except the wasabi shrimps and the Dasha noodles. The duck tasted spoiled and even when we complained, apparently, that’s how “ducks” supposedly tasted. I highly doubt I will be returning
I love how quaint and tucked in Dasha is! It has a lovely, relaxing atmosphere and is a great spot for groups and date nights! The prawns with the wasabi were absolutely delicious... I was almost upset I had to share!! Our server was lovely and so were all the other servers in our area (we sat on the patio). All the cocktails were delicious and so beautiful! I had a great experience and would definitely go again in the near future!
Great oysters and our server was soo nice
Sat on the patio, no music was playing and the overall atmosphere was terrible. Drinks were overpriced and the food was also nothing to remember.
Food is great. Very “instagram” everything comes out very fancy or smoking etc. Oysters were delicious , the peppered steak was great and the chicken ! The spring rolls were excellent as well. Everything you order to share which is nice to have a lot of selection while eating. YUM. Will be going back
Thank you! I felt really safe and the food and atmosphere was excellent
Our waiter Matt was great, and had a great ability to make us feel comfortable
This is a cool new spot for Toronto! I think it can eventually become a great venue for locals who want something different than the endless options of ye-olde-English-themed sport pubs available for bros. The bros are already well served in the King Street West zone, so it’s nice to find a hidden gem that keeps it classy. #nogotorontobro
We've been trying to experience Dasha for months now so we were excited to secure a reso! Menu was limited so there wasn't much of a selection at point of dining so we were a bit disappointed, however, everything we tried was delicious and we will definitely be back to try the rest!
Angry Chicken was by far my favourite dish; the cocktails are adorable and have had a lot of thought put into them. The plating and presentation of all menu items is FANTASTIC.
Ambiance was lost as the patio is minimalisticly decorated; will hopefully change this once we get to experience indoors!
Peking duck was great. The angry chicken did not have enough kick - not angry enough haha.
The server was very kind and genuine. Our drinks came very quickly as well as our food. We really recommend the spring rolls! Enough to share for two people and a great appetizer. Zen garden was also an amazing drink. Perfect experience overall.
Limited menu. No desserts.
Amazing place, beautiful atmosphere, out of this world delicious food, insanely great & friendly service, everything about DASHA is perfect!
The food was absolutely delicious but the portion sizes felt a little small. For context, I ordered the chicken fried rice and my friend ordered the angry chicken which didn't come with rice. This won't deter us from coming back but were a little surprised.
Was surprised at how uninspired the food tasted. Oysters weren’t fresh. Noodles were.. alright, a strong step up from Manchu Wok, but for the price was very disappointing. Scallops had a nice presentation but again failed in taste. Good quality protein, but nothing exciting that I can’t make better at home.
Great service and ambience. Will go for drinks instead of dinner next time.
I have been wanting to go to Dasha since it opened so I was excited to go with my 2 friends today. I was even more excited when I saw the menu was curated by Chef Akira Back since I went to his restaurant in the Bisha Hotel and had a great experience.
I was trying to eat light, so I only got water, the edamame with the sweet Szechuan sauce on the side and the wasabi prawns. I’m very happy I got the sauce for the edamame on the side since my friend ordered the regular edamame and found it extremely messy. Other then that the edamame was great and the sauce was very good. I’m not a fan of wasabi but I decided to give the wasabi prawns a try. They were AMAZING! I wish I tried more but the food I got was great and I was very happy.
What I was unhappy with was the service. My friends ordered a drink, but after that no one came to check on us for 30+ minutes. I had to flag the server down so we could order food. When food started to arrive at our table, only our 1 friend got her food (the kung pao chicken). When the kung pao chicken was dropped off at our table, a different server brought it to our table, but we couldn’t understand 1 word he was saying to us (he was mumbling), so we didn’t even know who the food was for! My other friend and I had to wait 10 minutes for our edamame, eggplant and the prawns. The same server dropped off the food, and again he was mumbling. I was shocked we had to wait so long for edamame. The patio was not busy so we were confused what was taking so long. We were never checked on to see how our food was either.
After that we asked for our bills, and we had to wait another 10-15 minutes just to pay. The server had our bills completely wrong. We were all shocked by the service, to the point that we didn’t think our server deserved a tip (we still gave her one anyways).
Overall, the good is great but the service is lacking.
