Service and food were both excellent! My mom, my daughter and I were lucky enough to have August take care of us and the entire evening was perfect. Table-side Caesar salad was so fun they let my daughter join in and she loved it. This is our annual trip to Seaport Davios and can’t wait to go back!

Over a month ago I made reservations at Davios for 6:15 on Thanksgiving Day. We arrived at 6:15 and were informed our table was not ready, up to a 20 minute wait. We were disappointed but more than that there was no where to sit at the restaurant to wait. There was probably 60 people who were waiting to be seated all hovering around while waiters were frantically trying to get food out. It was a frantic mess and you could feel it, anything but calming. 20, minutes later, we are still waiting. I went up to the hostess to inquire as it had been 20 minutes and she was anything but kind saying well now maybe its 45. Again, no where to stand and wait, let alone sit down. We were finally seated after 7 PM for our 6:15 reservations, party of 3. In other upscale restaurants when this has happened they’ve offered a glass of champagne or dessert to help offset the mess. Davios did none of that but worse yet their staff didn’t seem to care. Nonetheless, the food was great with a solid wine selection.

A family favorite. Bumpier experience than usual as they were PACKED for Thanksgiving. Confusion about our table as they led us around the first and second floor of the restaurant, couldn't find the right table, then set us up in a makeshift table in a makeshift location. Not ideal. Given free dessert for the situation, which was nice. Our server was very good.

I have always enjoyed Davios. Usually, I am at the Lynnfield location, but this particular time we tried Seaport. It was very disappointing from a food and value perspective. The service was great and drinks on point. The tatter tots were over cooked to the point of burnt and the pork chop dish that was ordered was also over cooked even though it was ordered as medium with pink center. Overall, the food (prawn cocktail, crab cake, petite fillet) was ok at best. 2 house bottles of wine with food and two drinks come in without tip at 600. That is steep even if the food was out of this world. Must be paying for the location.

We were seated 45 minutes late for our reservation. The hostess was so rude I will never go back to this location. It’s not her fault that the reservation system is set up for reservations to run behind, but she does need to learn how to handle customers professionally. If you are going out for a special occasion go anywhere else.

Davio's was great. OpenTable was not. We showed up and they did not have my reservation but seeing that you are asking for my review, you are confirming that it was booked. Luckily they were able to seat us but had the restaurant been full, we would not have gotten a table because of OpenTable.

The food is very average, our waiter had no personality and it was extremely over priced. We had an amazing meal in the north end for half the price. $15 for pudding for dessert????

Very busy on a Saturday night which is great. We were not prepared to have a reservation for 7 and still not be seated at 7:25. Understand that we can't get people to move from tables just wish the communication from host station was better - in fairness they did have a line out the door they were trying to handle too. Post the wait the food and service were great

Davio's is my "go to" restaurant in the Boston area, whether for family occasions, business meals, or just an old-fashioned night out with my wife. Saturday night's dinner at the Seaport location marked a new high, with an exquisite meal and service for a group of six, including two of my law partners and their wives. Our waiter Gabi was attentive and we even had a visit from Steve D. With the great turnover in Boston restaurants, it's nice to see an institution thrive for almost 40 years now. I can also say I track back to the days where Davio's had only three locations - Brookline Village, Newbury Street, and the Sonesta in Cambridge. And the popovers are still mouth watering!

Our server was excellent, steaks were cooked exactly as requested and the scallops were amazing. We celebrated a birthday and the dessert was brought out with happy birthday scrolled on the plate. The attention to detail by staff was impeccable. We’ll definitely be back.

My daughter and I went with a reservation on a weeknight. We sat down and we were served water immediately. 20 minutes later nobody had come back to our table for a drinks or food order. We grabbed a passing waiter although (he was in jacket and tie so he may have been management), explained what happened and he took our drink order. More time passed, about 10 min when we were served our drinks. About another 10 minutes went by when our waiter finally appeared-no apology for leaving us hanging for almost an hour! We were so excited because Davio’s has a gluten free menu and both my daughter and I have an allergy. I chose the prawns on gluten free pasta. The prawns were so overdone they were nearly inedible. My daughter enjoyed her gnocchi. Such a disappointment.

We visited Davio's - Seaport a few weeks ago and was somewhat disappointed with my entree. We took our daughter last night and was extremely happy to see the food was back to the very high standards we have come to expect from Davio's. The Tuna Tartare, Filet, Pasta and desserts were outstanding. Looking forward to visiting again in the near future.

The lighting at Davio's Seaport on Friday night was horrible. Charge everyone an extra $1 and turn up the lights! I saw one person fall and another almost did.

Awful music way too loud! And not loving spending this much money and having a high top table. Food fantastic though. Took a while to come for some reason.
