    Asked for a window seat, they put us where there is a pillar blocking the window. Servers never came after food was served and when we flagged someone to give us the bill, we were given attitude and told rudely to wait. Disappointed since I really liked my experience here the first time I came. I’m embarrassed to bring a friend after I hyped it up only to have this experience….

    Charcuterie board tasted like a gfs order Pate bland meats overtly hard Server seemed off ordered apps took 25 min for board to come didn’t ask if we wanted mains when taking order and then took close to 15 min for bill to come to table after me and wife decided to forgo mains and leave POSITIVES: there was a focus holiday party going on near us and the Dj was really good so shout out to her

    What a great place for a lively dinner after a long day working and shopping. The bar is beautiful, we loved the ambience, music and drink menu. Food was excellent, although the lobster cocktail was a very tiny portion. Only disappointment was the service. Our server was slow to take our order and very slow to bring our bill after we declined desert. In between our food came quickly and was the perfect temperature, but again the server seemed very uninterested to engage us, tell us about the menu or provide recommendations. The energy in the bar made up for it, we will return ….!

    Highlights- the desserts best part of the meal Just ok -savoury options, both jams were too bitter Bad- scones over mixed and not flaky or buttery. They had the texture of dinner rolls. Tim Hortons has better tea biscuits. Sparkling wine is included and not optional which sucks for non alcohol drinkers. Said wine was not good. Tea - weak and not enough steeping before they were poured. Service- ok but not stellar. Ambiance - felt like a night club bc there was a Dj booth. There was also a giant black fly that kept flying around us and buzzing, I guess it can’t be helped but it’s November why are there flies in the restaurant??

    A friend was visiting from out of town and I had heard and read great reviews about ambiance and staff. DBar did not disappoint! Maybe the grilled octopus had a little too much oil and the music too loud at times, but the wait staff was impeccable!!! Mariah and Ray and the buss boys for our section did not miss a beat! Water refilled before the glass was empty, several friendly and quick visits to check in on us and everyone seeming had the same level of service. Happy faces leaving their visit, all around! ANNND the wine was AMAZING! I had the Malbec from Argentina.

    Love this venue for a business or special occasion lunch. The ambience is relaxing and, refreshingly, there is no time limit or pressure to leave. The menu is nicely varied, the service is attentive and the food is well-prepared. Although the menu is an "all day" menu, I would suggest larger salad portions -- even for a higher price. Although protein options can be added to any salad, the salads as currently composed are great lunchtime fare. But even for those who want to keep it light, the salads fall somewhat short as a main course choice.

    We had the most wonderful experience. Mariah, the assistant manager, made sure we had the best dessert options on the menu. She is the reason we keep coming to places like this. She was professional and efficient and incredibly personable. My husband and I loved everything we had and celebrated our anniversary in the utmost luxury and class. Thank you Mariah!

    At the beginning the service was horrible. I had arrived at 9pm, and was able to order and receive my drink right away. After I had received my drink, my server walked past me several times as I waved and attempted to make eye contact. It was still fairly early in the night, and was far from busy. She finally made it back to us at 9:48 to take my food order. For dinner we ordered a charcuterie board, raw oysters, a shrimp pasta and a scallop entree. Everything was very mediocre. The meat’s from the charcuterie board did not taste fresh and the bread was hard and stale. We tried a small bite of everything on the charcuterie board but didn’t find it edible, so unfortunately we wasted it. I personally didn’t hate the oysters but my partner (whom normally enjoys oysters) found they tasted a bit off. As for our mains (the shrimp pasta and scallop dish), they were very underwhelming, but by that point we had eaten everything on our plates, we were extremely hungry! The only thing we really enjoyed from the menu was the espresso martinis and the cappuccino. The ambience was great, and the dj was very good! He played a wide variety of music and had everyone on the dance floor at one time or another. Would absolutely go back again (after having dinner somewhere else first), for cocktails and dancing.

    We asked for extra 2 sandwiches ie 2 quarter sandwiches ie half a normal sandwich and whilst they said "we can see what we can do" inferring this would not be a problem they then charges us $24 extra which was a shock and v disappointing bearign in mind afternoon tea is over $100 per head plus tax each. They took it off after we raised our concern. We also ordered sparkling water and we are pretty sure they gave us a half open bottle from an ice bucket then charged us $10 for the pleasure but at that point we couldn't be bothered to raise it.

    Lovely bar, we’ve been many times, stopped in for a quick drink before dinner, not busy, took forever to get served. We finally asked a waiter that was walking around if he could take our drink order. He was lovely and did right away and brought the drinks back saying our server would be back to check on us. We had to ask another waiter for our bill. Our supposed waitress showed up with the bill. First time we saw her. First time I’ve given less than 20% tip in a long time.

    it was a very nice out. We wanted to last minute late night dinner and Dbar delivered. The atmosphere was chill and we could hear ourselves without having to raise our voices. We ordered the small board and the burger and fries. Everything was cooked perfectly. The service was great. Overall a great night and we will continue to come back.

    The food was beyond terrible! I don’t normally leave reviews but I think the pasty chief should rethink his/her recipe. The dishes were too spicy and the combination of passion fruit in almost of all of the pastry was a huge mistake.

    The service was great because they have a team of knowledgeable, professional and dedicated service personnel. The food was terrible and overpriced though. I expected better from a hotel of such standards. I dine at top rated hotels when I travel, even if I'm not lodged there. This is the first time I've been this disappointed. I can't say enough bad things about the food. Bland, disappointing and lacking in variety don't go far enough. You won't find me eating here again.
