The best steak I have had in years! I had the dry aged ribeye. We also ordered the waygu beef tartare. The yeast rolls are sinful and last but not least, the carajillo cocktail was AMAZING! Best I have ever had. We will be back again and again if our experience is anything like the 1st time! Great job Dean’s!

Gabriella was absolutely amazing it was my wife's birthday and she set up the table in a way that we can take pictures for her birthday this is our second time coming here for my wife's birthday and we will continue coming here every year for her birthday thank you so much Dean for being an exceptional restaurant.

My wife and I went to Dean's on our wedding night to celebrate. The food was amazing, from the first course through dessert. The steaks were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The servers were incredibly attentive and provided great recommendations when we were unsure of which choice to make. We are already planning our next visit!

Awesome drinks and food. We got the wedge salad (incredible bacon), oysters Rockefeller (love the cream spinach on top, steak and seafood risotto. Risotto a little mushy, but really good. Flat iron steaks literally jiggled when you touched them. Incredibly juicy and delicious

A co-worker and I dined at Dean’s Italian Steakhouse while visiting Austin for a work conference. We were warmly welcomed by the hostesses and our server Riley was attentive and helpful. The Seafood Risotto was one of the best meals I have ever had. So much so, that I was disappointed that I would have to leave my uneaten portion behind because I didn’t have a microwave in my room. When the manager heard of this, he insisted he would have one delivered to my room. Sure enough, an hour after finishing dinner, a microwave was delivered so I could finish enjoying my risotto. Absolutely incredible food, as well as service!

The Seafood tower was delicious, the bread they brought to the table was equally delicious. Ciara our waitress was vert attentive and had great suggestions and recomendations including a pecan infused old fashioned cocktail. I had tow of them! All the sides were awesome. I especially loved the mashed potatoes. The steaks were cooked to perfection as were the scallops! we ended the night with a dessert of their homemade bread pudding and Lime Pie! I will definitely be back.

We had a great time. The wagyu bites and bone marrow were delicious! The service was great! I would have liked my branzino without the tomatoes and fennel stuffed inside but put as a side salad instead with a light vinegrette. The music was a little loud for us, but still ended up a lovely evening.

Excellent service and the food was outstanding!! We were celebrating my second year anniversary since I have moved to Austin with my very special lady and the restaurant made sure we had a great time and we appreciate all the thoughtful service to make it a memorable day!! Service was excellent but the steaks were underwhelming. They have a $250 36oz Tomahawk steak which we assumed would be plenty for 2 people. Unfortunately we were wrong. It also came out med-well which was disappointing. 2 other bone-in fillets came out quite undercooked. There was very little consistency in the temperatures of the steaks. The manager did comp our desserts to try to make up for it. The desserts were good and the sides were ok.

Adrianne our server was wonderful, and promptly took to our request of wanting to be seated in a booth (we love the booths at Dean’s). The meal courses came out perfectly timed, everything about her service was perfect. Dean’s never misses for us on a date night, and last night’s Japanese Wagyu was literally insane. I made the statement last night that I could easily consume $1k in that beef, we both laughed, but neither of us meant that as a joke…would be worth the money—as Dean’s always is:)

Entrees were amazing - I had one of the better filets I’ve ever been served. Sides were good but could have been better. Cocktails were superb. Service was impeccable.

Was pleasantly surprised at how great our experience was. We were put in a great booth that felt sectioned off from the restaurant, which was great because steakhouses can often feel too cafeteria-like. Our amazing server offered us free Prosecco since we were celebrating our anniversary. The complimentary bread is truly the best free bread I’ve ever gotten at a restaurant. The crab cake was amazing, and we really enjoyed our steak. Was not a fan of the billionaires potato (very one-note), but everything else was fantastic. Also, since we spent more than $250, they gave us a rewards card and said we earned $25 off next time we came in. Never gotten that from a nice restaurant before, was pretty cool. Excited to return!

Don’t sleep on this restaurant. The wine list is extensive and they do cocktails really well. The food is delicious. This time the favorite dish was Short Rib with Gnocchi. Big bold flavor, bite size gnocchi and tender bites of short rib. The broccolini was perfect with a little kick of spice. This is a favorite restaurant and the staff are warm and welcoming.

Everything was outstanding especially the service. Our waitress was amazing and she memorized everything on the menu. The only thing we might recommend is more salad options.

The food is superior, thoughtfully crafted. An extensive wine list, including really solid by-the-glass options. Service was outstanding. The look of the place / interior design and materials are nice fit to the cuisine. But... the music is loud and positively horrible. It is entirely mismatched to the environment and intrudes into the sensory experience so intensely that it detracts from the meal. I'm praying I'm not the only one who complains about this issue, because if it's fixed -- quieter instrumental music of quality would do it -- then Dean's would command a top-notch recommendation.

Quality of food and service was decent and what I would expect from an average steakhouse, however prices would suggest high end steakhouse and service and food did not match that. Certainly not bad but I would look to another steakhouse in the future.

Food was great. Our server was amazing and made my husband's 50th birthday memorable. My only complaint is they gave us a weird table placement right by the door even though I put in the comments it was an important bday while the boring business dinners had better tables. Will definitely go back for future special occasions.
