   Dear friend, You are the bar we hope to have nearby. Kind, friendly and personable. With passion infused in the drinks and a creative experience on the plate. My experiences dining with you have never disappointed. 10/10 A must visit for those who enjoy the bar and a knowledgeable staff; to a connoisseur who needs a quiet escape. Thank you for being a perfect experience time and time again. The rotating menus and consistent staff are a pleasure and I look forward to my next visit. -Pete

    Amazing service, as always! Our server, Mona checked on us multiple times, when I accidentally ordered a wrong drink (I was unaware there was chocolate in it, which I can’t do) he was happy to offer me a new drink and he got it to the table very quickly. (And I loveeed the drink he suggested) I felt so bad about the first drink but he was so kind about it and told me not to stress, that Dear Friend was all about providing a great experience and so he wanted to make sure I had a drink I loved! Very impressed ..10/10!! Thanks Mona, and Dear Friend! Always a great experience!!!!

    The food, drinks and service were wonderful! I booked well in advance and there were only a few people there so I'm not really sure why we were reserved at the bar, I had assumed the place would be full. Adorable bathroom decor.

    The restaurant is vey quaint . We had been there for the first time in November . The menu was small then but was even smaller last night . The appetizers were good , in fact we only had appetizers and dessert . Only two entree selections , one a gnocchi and one a panzanella salad , no meat entree, no fish entree ??? Very weird .. Upon sitting down the music was a bit loud so we asked them to please turn it down a little bit . They happily obliged . The mixed drinks were pretty good and the Chardonnay was exceptional. The chocolate mousse dessert was light and delicious. Upon finishing the meal we asked for hot coffee ( we had an espresso martini ) but there was no hot coffee or tea available. Another weird thing … I think , for drinks , appetizers and desert - it’s a great place . For a full dinner , they need to have a few more options and bring in some kind of coffee maker .

    Overall it was a good experience. Found it a bit loud for the size to have easy conversation. The food and drinks were overpriced for the size, presentation and quality.

    Two choices for appetizers: Mussels or beef tartare were both INCREDIBLE. The ice cream float desert was a perfect ending but the main gnocchi in a squash puree was terrible, extremely salty and overly rich. Unfortunately, we both chose the same main of the two offered. It was mono flavor compared to the complex delectable delight of the appetizers and dessert. The fancy drinks were tasty. The wait staff were helpful in the selection of the best fancy beverage to complement the food. A great place to go; I think the main course was an unfortunate blip in an otherwise top-notch spot. Due to a very limited food menu we'll have to wait for a new edition.

    Great cocktails and small plates. I wish they had better red wine selection. Hopefully they will add few nice bottles and by the glass. This would make it the perfect place!

    As always, an amazing experience at Dear Friend. I brought an out of town guest to show her what all the hype was about and she was thrilled. She loved the cocktails and got to try oysters for the first time. 👍🏻

    We popped in for a drink and appetizer during a staycation in the city. The restaurant was lovely! We enjoyed our wine. The menu didn’t offer as many options as we had hoped for. We enjoyed the cheese board and went elsewhere for dinner. Great, unique atmosphere.
