The servers were very nice and friendly! I wish there were more options for me as a vegetarian, but had a great experience overall! Went to celebrate my birthday, and they stored my cake in a fridge as well as provided a lighter for my candle.

Went in the middle of November and they had no heat, froze our butts off eating indoors. Was also short staffed, took 50 mins for our order of brunch. Food was really good though.

Service was friendly but incredibly slow - 70 minutes between ordering and receiving our 4 apps. We planned to order dinner as well, but walked to another restaurant for that.

Not the best experience. Wait staff were highly distracted and inattentive, having their own party at the bar. Food was salty beyond belief. Noise was so intense we couldn't talk. Definitely not the right choice for anyone wanting to hear themselves talk or expecting even modest service (for the cost of the food).

Patio is spacious and has lots of seating. Service was ultra-casual, slow and uninterested. Menu with QR code was confusing as the one affixed to our table was crossed out with permanent marker but server did not explain until we eventually asked how we went about ordering. Won't be going back.

We made a reservation in advance and showed up about 3 minutes early and we’re immediately made to feel like we were such an inconvenience to the 2 servers talking behind the bar, one was in the middle of eating and texting, and grunted and pointed to a table to sit at. We were seated inside and were shortly put on a wait list for outside. We weren’t asked about a reservation, but there was no room on the patio for us anyways. We decided to just get drinks here instead of having dinner like we planned and it ended up taking about 20 minutes to get our draft beer brought order. We only found out when the beer was dropped that the reason for the wait was that the bartender needed to change a keg, which is a great reason for a delay, but it would have been good to know a bit earlier so that we weren’t left confused as to why other tables were getting drinks and ours didn’t seem to be on their way. Our server seemed genuinely annoyed with our existence and when we tried to say thank you and no worries for the delay, they just walked away without a word. The person who came by to put us on the list for the patio was very kind and professional. It seemed like just the one person was upset to be working, everyone else seemed to be in good spirits. We’ve had good experiences at Death and Taxes before when coming for food and drink. But this was very off-putting and with so many other options in the area, I don’t think we will be coming back any time soon.

Food was good, drink prices were expensive. Service was not great and the server was actually quite rude. We booked in advance and were seated right next to two other tables who were super loud so I couldn’t even hear my conversation. The rest of the restaurant had seating space.

The Rose on the menu was not available which was disappointing. The table next to us was able to order off the regular menu though when we tired we were told no it was a mistake. So we had to order off the brunch menu which was annoying as I do not eat eggs.

The selection was limited but the quality of the food was excellent. The chicken bites, the bao chicken and dumplings were excellent. The pricing was reasonable. More main dishes for dinner would expand the dining experience.

Small menu but food is delicious. Disappointing that an item we craved was sold out – and we had an early (6:00) reservation. Our server was fabulous and we had a great time. But for the love of gawd and all patrons, replace those torturous patio chairs!

Great spot, nice patio, and fantastic staff! Cocktails were great, unique, out of the ordinary, but a bit pricey (average $17). Had the Fried Chicken sandwich. Was good but didn't blow me away. Would recommend for small groups of friends, dates, etc. Very lively on a Friday night, as one would expect.

Kelly was our server and she was amazing! She was attentive, and super sweet. I brought my friend here for brunch and I ordered the eggs bunny (vegetarian with avocado instead of bacon) and it was delicious. The coffee was really good! We were there at 11:15am so had the whole place to ourselves! People didn’t start arriving until later. The price of the food was reasonable as well. I will definitely be back!

Nice spot, seated at a cute spot in the corner. Best part was the waiter - I wish I knew his name - he was funny and quirky and fast and on top of things, really really good. Would definitely go back based on him alone, they are lucky to have him!

The service and ambiance was good. Cocktails were alright. The food is really boring and not very appetizing. I’ve had dinner twice there now, and both times I’ve regretted it. Would go back for a drink only.
